Those were the best suggestions he had. He really didn't know Princess Arduna that well, and he was glad. She was a liar, like all of the other females, and couldn't be trusted to stick to her word. As long as she wasn't around bothering him, he didn't care what she did.

Xerxes stared down at the new kit. Oh, great, another one. Maybe this one wouldn't be afraid of rank battles, and possibly have some intelligence in his little head.
Doubtful, though. The entire species was slowly deteriorating, and there wasn't a thing he could do about it.

Stripe looks over to see the alpha male staring at him. He knew that he was studying him and he just sat up and look toward him. Admiring him, he was fit to be alpha he thought.

At least the kit wasn't trying anything stupid. Like that one that had tried touching him, uugh. Xerxes wondered how much longer it would be before the mediocrity of the other Damphousse got to the kit, and dragged him down, to be like them. If he wasn't already like that already.
Well, if he gave into that, it was the kit's own fault. If the kit followed the others, instead of acting like a proper Damphousse...well, he would be the idiot that made that choice, and Xerxes had no pity for him if he went that way.

He knew that he if he was going to do something was idiotic he would never get the chance to be looked at again. He knew that if he moved he might look like he is uneasy so he continued to stare at him. He diden't even blink.

The kit didn't seem to be nervous, being stared at like that. Was that pride? Attitude? Simple ease? Or was he paralyzed with fear? A smile crept across Xerxes' face at that thought. He would wait, and see what the kit did. Maybe this one wouldn't be as stupid as some of his elders. It was a bit much to hope for, really, but if someone was too stupid to follow the example others set for them, Xerxes didn't feel like wasting his time, trying to correct them.

At seeing the alpha smiling knew better then to smile back or frown. He just kept his stare. Know that he was still being judge he knew that he was in a position was in dier need. He was new, the youngest, and that he already knew that they would dominate him with out an edge.

He didn't smile back, didn't pretend to know what the smile meant. That was good, at least. If he wasn't paralyzed with fear, he was reasonably smart. More so than Altair and Blackheart, that pair of idiots. Xerxes had no idea why neither of them had been demoted to Omega yet. Hopefully said demotion would come soon, though.

It started for him to get hard to keep staring. He was hungry, and tired, but he diden't want to look weak, so he kept the stare.

Rensuke sat back up on a ledge now all grown. Leaning back against the rock he watched everyone, glad he wasn't in the kits den anymore and that if anything arose he would be able to help and also help his family grow.

Altair was glad that the idiot was leaving him alone, now. He hadn't wanted to beat up a youngling barely able to defend himself, after all. And then the Queen would have killed him if he had attacked Altair, since he wasn't fully recovered from his fight with Blackheart yet. (Almost, but not quite fully.)
And anyway, he had a fight with Blackheart first, before he took on any hotheads. He would show Blackheart who the real better fighter was!
He found a rock by one of the walls, and attacked it, to show just how strong he really was.

Xerxes noticed one of the idiotic pair attacking the rock, and doing a terrible job of it. He had to laugh at that. Did that one really think he was any sort of a fighter? Judging by how badly he had done in that attack, he really wasn't.
Really, Altair and Blackheart were both idiots. He didn't care which one won the fight, because that would just make the ego of one insufferable, and make the other one bring up something about cheating, or some such. They couldn't bring themselves to accept that life wasn't fair, that they weren't equal. One of them had to be better.
Hopefully, they would bother adding some risk to their battle next time, by making it for rank, but they were both such wusses, he doubted that they would.
Xerxes turned his attention back to the kit, who had been staring back at him. For an absurd moment, he wanted to fly down there and poke the kit, to see if was so paralyzed with fear, that he would fall over like some sort of statue at the least touch. But he wouldn't. He had too much sense to go do something like that.
