Clifford nodded and when the woman was ready he stood next to her closely. "Now, Hold onto me and close your eyes. You might get dizzy if you try and watch as we travel." He scooped her into his arms and once her eyes were closed he took off with his vampire speed. They were at what was now the vampire palace in a matter of mere miinuets. He stopped at the end of the hallway where he saw Ariai and set Faith down gently. "Here we are madam. Safe as you'll ever be." He looked at Ariai and smiled a little at her. Home in less then 10 minuets. When she is settled we shall talk.

He gasped audibly, then began to choke on the cookie he had not yet swallowed. His face was a decent shade of scarlet by the time he managed to work the food down the right tube, tears of humiliation and pain bubbling in the corners of his eyes.
"Good, when they aren't choking me," he said weakly, trying to lighten up how stupid he must have looked. He really was quite clumsy with food. The only thing he was graceful with was a knife and a block of wood. He could work both items like a ballerina on a glass surface. His work was a beautiful performance of hands, tool, and chippings. "I'll be finished shortly. I...I have some questions I need to ask you, if you aren't already occupied."

Ariai giggled when he started choking on the cookie. It wasn't that big, but she supposed that she had surprised him. "Good! I will answer any questions you have once Clifford and Ms. Anderson come home."
She glanced out and smiled when Clifford appeared out of nowhere with Faith. "There he is. Once you've finished come out to the dining room just across the hall, alright? That's where we'll talk." She walked up to Clifford and hugged him, murmuring to him that she was glad he was safe. Then she turned to Faith and smiled. "Ms. Anderson, welcome to our humble home. Let me show you to your room."

Clifford smiled more once Ariai embraced him and then went off to the dinning room to wair for Ariai so that they could talk. He also had to decide how to explain all of this to his seragate parents. Surely they knew he was home already for one of the servants would have told them.

Faith nodded dumbly and clutched her bag closer to her. She was feeling rather anxious now that she was in what she would have called a coven. However, there were no other Vampires in sight. 'Maybe they just live in a big house together?' she thought as she looked at Ariai and Clifford. 'Must be nice to be in love,' she thought rather enviously.

Ariai showed her into a lavish room with a large king sized bed in the corner, and several dressers in the other corner. "The bathroom is right next door. It's connected to my bathroom." She smiled at Faith. "You may use anything you like, as long as you keep it tidy."
She laughed softly. "Clifford often teases me about being a neat freak, but then again, I'm already a freak in the first place, so who cares." She paused. "We are here to help and protect you, Ms. Anderson. Despite his appearance, Clifford is quite the weapons specialist, and I myself can put up a good fight when properly armed. Liek...Liek is unique in herself." She laughed again. "I will be in the dining room with Clifford. Join us when you have unpacked and settled."

"Yes, thank you," Faith murmured softly as she took in the room. Her entire apartment could probably fit into the space which, to say the least, impressed her greatly. "Of course I will be tidy," she added as she walked over to the bed and set her bag down. She just nodded along with what Ariai told her, only half paying attention. She did not really want to go talk about much of anything. Mostly she wanted to toss her bag in the corner, take a nice bath, and go to sleep for a week.

"Those who do not like to rhyme are, quite obviously, not worth the time. I am certainly glad that I intrigue you, for those like you that I so like are truly few. As for where I call my home, it is not a place where people like to roam," explained the demonic male as he again sipped at his tea. His tanned skin shone slightly in the light, giving him the preternatural sheen of all vampires.
Deimos looked at Liek as he realized he hadn't introduced himself. "Please forgive my attitude, I did not mean to be so rude. Deimos is my name, and to have not mentioned it earlier brings me shame," he introduced himself, bowing his head slightly. His ebony hair fell into his face slightly.

Adrien nodded as the woman left, carefully nibbling away at his cookie while his eyes roamed about his room. It was a rather empty room; he would need to furnish it with something more, like a trunk or display case...a glass display case, with mirrors in the back, so he could show off his wooden figurines. That would be wonderful.
After he stuffed his face with three more of the cookies, he brushed himself off and headed across the hall, smiling meekly before setting himself down in a wooden chair in the corner of the room, to make himself more inconspicuous.

"Please make your self comfortable." Clifford said from his place at the table. He sat relaxed almost directly across from the new vampire and as when he was in Faith's house. he had his hands folded neatly infront of him on the table as he thought of how he would talk with Ariai. "Is there anything I can do to make your stay here more comfortable? Maybe I could provide you with the means to do a hobby you have. Some who first arrive here like to paint or write."

Faith quickly unpacked her bag, shoving most of her rather tomboyish clothes in one of the bureaus in the room. She left her toiletries in her bag; she would put them away later on. The thing she felt would be most important to get over with was the infamous meeting in the dinning room. After that, she could bathe and sleep. After all, Ariai and Clifford wouuld probably inform her as to the nature of her job for them. She could not miss out on that if she wanted to succeed in her job.
It was with that thought that she entered the dinning room where Clifford and an unfamiliar Vampire were waiting. "Am I interupting something...?" she asked softly. She had been told to go to the dinning room once she was settled but Ariai had not mentioned the inclusion of a fourth party. After her attack, she was just a little hesitant to accept any Vampire aside from Clifford, Ariai, and the other Vampiress that had stopped Deimos from killing her.

"That place sounds enchanting, demonic or something. A gentleman who can rhyme, perhaps you'll tell me from what time? I should like to go back, and retrieve more for a pack." Liek grinned and moved her cup to the side before moving to sit upon the table, cross-legged as usual. No one came over to reprimand her for doing so, they were all used to it and knew that to approach her that her rhyming ways would confuse them to no end. She absently wondered what Clifford and them were doing in the palace but she would never go to find out. While she didn't mind the palace, the palace held the King and Queen. She didn't dislike them, she just wasn't comfortable around them and thought it best to stay away.

"You are not interruping anything, Ms. Anderson. I was merely trying to make this gentleman comfortable. Its his first night as a full vampire and he was not made by choice." Clifford said smoothly. "Please be seated. I am sure Ariai will be here shortly." He moved his hand so a chair pulled out for her not far from Adrien...but not too close either. Every so often he would tap into the metal link he had with Liek to make sure she was still alright. Don't let him out rhyme you Liek dear. You would lose your reputation. And the only reason I don't rhyme with you is I am not half as clever as you are. Was his quiet message to his child. He hoped it would bring a smile to her face.

As if she had appeared out of nowhere, Ariai appeared behind Faith and put a gentle hand onto her shoulder. "Go on in," she whispered. "What Clifford is saying to young Adrien also concerns you." After giving the other woman an encouraging nudge forward, she herself stepped forward, listening to her heels click clack. She walked over to the seat next to Clifford, and after ruffling her black gown, seated herself and folded her hands onto her lap.

Blushing, Faith nodded lightly and headed into the dinning room quietly. Awkwardly, she took a seat next to the Vampire she did not know and looked at her lap. She felt so out of place with her boyish hair and attire while the other three looked absolutely stunning, especially Ariai.
