=D I love your poems! They're amazing, they flow so well. "A Future?" Is one of my favorites.
>.o Sorry, I'm not really the type of person to give lengthy descriptions, the words seem fake that way.

This next one is a dedication to Ms. Sherrie Jacobs, the most wonderful teacher in the world. She recently lost her son, and all that have her classes, all that know her, are affected by it. This poem is dedicated to her and her son, Bill.
Our Sun
High in the sky, a sun, Among us crescents; Naturally strong and bold, Your warmth fills the air; A gleaming smile and a Laugh ever present; A light within, to which No one could compare.
Thick, heavy clouds roll in, Eclipsing the sun; Solemn darkness fall on Those within its reach; Our hearts heavy with sorrow, Staunchly, stood as one, We offer your our hands, Nothing, we beseech.
By your side, we stand, and Wish you much comfort, Strength to overcome loss Such as no other. Our hearts, open to help Bind your wounds and hurt, Your love paid back to you, Our second mother.

I am having Ami post this for me (Ami: Hi people!) for my computer is having issues with a system recovery. I will be back as soon as I am able.
I found myself in a moment in which my pain and worries were overflowing. I hadn't power to rid myself of my anxiety before I wrote this. Enjoy the creation of my anxiety.
I Am... Yours
I am perfect for you, But who wants perfection? I am too good to be true, But not good enough to be shared. I am the apple of your eye, But your bite is kept out of sight. I am a constant in your mind, But merely a whisper upon your lips. I am the one you shouldn't love, But forbidden is only hidden. I am an angel from up above, But my soul is falling below.
I am kept in your pocket, Out of sight and close to you heart. I cling to your broken promises; And I never say a word. Now, keep what's left of my soul, Like a secret in your throat. I will follow you to the end, For, above all, I am... yours.

Very sweet. I like how it just seems like the object at hand (you in this case) just seems so within the other's grasp, and yet, cannot be caught....as it would seem. Ahhh, so nice and refreshing.

Thanks, Kharne. I'm glad you like it. XD
GEEEEEEZ. I miss my computer. I have no clue when it'll be up and running. I ordered some recovery discs from HP to recover what I lost back in August when my other hard drive died...and it failed. I've been trying this and that to get it to work, but so far, nothing has worked. I want a new hard drive for Christmas...and maybe if I get it, the recovery will work. Who knows?
All I know is, I miss my computer. ><

Indeed.
Yes, computers going RAWR at you really sucks, I must admit that. Good luck with the computer.

Something new. A line came to me...and it led to something else, which led to something else... and a poem was born. How lovely.
Peace in Life and Death
God forbid one man dream for us all, Or envision his son and yours equal; God forbid he should make a difference, Or say, "Solve problems without violence"; God forbid a black man have some hope, Without a threat of lynching by rope; God forbid someone good should exist, And till his own death, would he persist;
Despite all your might, He has shed his light; upon the horizon, Peacefully, he shines on.

God forbid alot of things. So what line gave you the sort of inspiration to write this? I have to agree with what you said in this....god forbid any of us tried to do better for ourselves or try to be unique in anyway....look what happened at Columbine...some kids were different and pushed into a corner....some people died after they lashed back. ...then they blame music, games, books, and movies. BS! It is society killing itself.

Yeah, I agree.
Well, the line God forbid someone good should exist, is what started it all. It just came to me, and I pushed it towards MLK Jr. cause I had to write something today about him anyways. It all sort of came out of that one line.

There all increbible but I don't keep myself from favorites.
Abyssal Damnation, I think it was. That's the best freestyle poem in existence.

Thanks so much for your kind words!
Well, I feel very happy about how Abyssal Damnation came out. It was fun to write and try out new forms. Although...I wouldn't say it was the best in existence... redface But, I'm glad you think so.
Again, thanks!
And to all of you that care, I'm working on something now. Maybe I'll have something new up in the next week. Who knows?

Oooh, a hit? You've got me excited, now, hehe. Yeah, don't rush it. I do that a lot, too. Sometimes I'll just think a line, and everything comes with it. But the one I have now...I know what I want, but I need time to think it through this time. I need it to come out just right, for myself.
Well, make sure to tell me when you finish your 'hit', which one it is! I can't wait to read it. I'm sure it'll be great. XD

I'm unsure of exactly how to explain it.....I have all the right materials...I am just having a difficult time piecing them together. It's the first time in my poetic 'career' that I've been frustrated....that's how I know it will be an excellent peice.
