He looked at the other, somewhat content with the way Kurama looked at him, it was amusing.

"Did I? Well, it was sort of entertaining in a way," the red-head replied. He hadn't really known that Hiei had paid much of any attention to him. Usually he expected to be mostly ignored, but this Hiei was different. More friendly and nice, yet it wasn't so much a good thing as might be thought. Torture brought it on, not other causes, so it wasn't really positive.

"Hmmmm...." Hiei commented, as they got back to Kurama's place. He blinked at the other carefully. "I need to take a shower, I smell all sweaty." He explained. "Where is a bathroom I can clean up in?"

"Down this hall and to the right." This was accompanied by a simple gesture of his hand. When Hiei finished with his bath, the fox planned to have him wear the new kimono. He was rather curious as to how it would look. Nice, surely...

Hiei relaxed while bathing, and soon found his thoughts drifting off to how Kurama treated him. He was being cautious, but that was understandable to the other. And when he got out, he found the kimono waiting for him. He took it as the other's silent request for him to put it on. Hiei didn't mind. He eagerly put it on himself, having learned how to through the tortorous techniques of his captures. It wasn't long before he peeked out at Kurama from above the stairs.

The kimono had been worth every bit it cost, just for how it looked on the human. Certainly it looked nice, as the fox had thought he would. Elegant, too, though he did still look like a child. It did seem a bit strange that he automatically put the kimono on, since before it would have taken hours of arguing. But then, the red-head hadn't exactly gotten used to the idea of him being human, and all the weakness and obedience that normally implies.

Hiei walked timidly down the stairs to the other. Careful not to trip and fall, he already knew what would happen if he did something that stupid. He waited for the other to say something, but couldn't help but laugh at the way the other looked like some fish out of water, or would it be a fox without air? He couldn't decide. "Does it really look that good on me?" Hiei questioned to Kurama's seemingly silent praise.

"I think it does," the fox answered. "Do you like how it looks, though?" Earlier he had been, well, speechless. But there hadn't been anything that really was fit to say, or at least anything that would sound right coming from him.

"We should do something special," the red-haired boy commented slowly. "Since you now have a fancy outfit and I might actually be able to convince you to go..." There was a festival coming up, which would be the perfect occasion. Plus, Kurama didn't want to miss a chance to have fun with the other boy. Any time with him was one to cherish, but he wanted to do something that even Hiei might find special, rather than something simple a walk in the park, like they had done.

So he was interested. That was a good thing. "A festival, a traditional Japanese one. It's the perfect occasion to wear your kimono," said Kurama, clearing things up best he could, since the other didn't need to be in constant confusion. Though he did look rather adorable that way....

"Oh, yes, I remember the humans they brought in from this world always used to talk about such things, they always seemed happy when they talked about it too," Hiei commented. "I'd like to see one."
Hiei thought on it. "Which one is the next one?" he questioned.
