Kayla did as she was told and dropped the knives and covered her ears. She didn't think there was going to be as big of an explosion as there was. She felt the floor quake beneath her just as she jumped with frighten. Her clumsiness got the better of her and she fell backwards, still holding her ears, but this time it was more in pain. They had not been able to completely block out the sound. She could feel them throb in annoyance. In defence, she curled into a small ball on the floor, hoping the house wouldn't fall down from the explosion.

Sage jumped at the explosion. Taking about five more out and the shaking knocked some loose from the window. But she knew this wasn't goinmg to last. They had to do something more. One got in almost and she shot him in the face making him fall down with a sickening crunch, "I need some help up here!" She yelled. She shot some more then when the gun clicked she cursed. Usually she never went anywhere without her backpack which had more ammo....that was down stairs. She got her sword off her back hoping that they would get up here soon. One managed to scratch heron the face as she hit it through the stomach. The closed the window quickly. Sage didn't even notice that most of her cheek was now showing metal.

Vagabond looked at Kayla. He would not fail to repay these people. " Go...Go upstairs. Tell them to cover me. I'm gonna go say hi" Vagabond stood and readied him self. " Girl ...Kayla I need you to lock this door behind me. I swear not one of these monsters will touch you." Outside explosions rocked the ground.
With this to cover him; Vaga opened the door and slipped out into the waiting zombie horde. Holding the door closed with his back and fending the corpses that were left off as best he could he yelled. " LOCK IT. LOCK IT!."

( NO it did NOT just delete my entire post >=O And duh she will o_o )
Kayla hesitated at first, trying to comprehend what was happening. Did he seriously just tell her to lock him out? Wait - He just talked. He can talk!? Her confusion was quickly swept away by his commanding words. Leaping upright, she scrambled towards the door and managed to lock one of the locks. She wanted to keep the others open just in case she needed to drag him back in. Wasting no time, she bounded up the stairs, taking them two at a time, until she was on the second floor. She called out to Cedric and Sage, "Mumbles is outside! COVER HIM!" Not waiting for a reply, she darted back down the stairs back to the front door. She scanned the wall quickly, there must be a crack somewhere she could peek out through to make sure he was alright. She quickly began scanning the area around the door and windows, finally finding the smallest gap, but it was enough to see the battle.
( Oh, and I'm just guessing that Cedric's super house of defence has more than one lock =P )

Sage locked the window quickly. "Great..." She needed to get back down stairs and grab more ammo anyways. The window would hold until then since it was reinforced. Sage grabbed up her back pack and opened a side pocket getting all her ammo out and placing them in her pockets. "Alright I will cover him from the top now."

The girl had not let him down. the door would hold long enough. " Thanks Pale Princess I won't let you down!" He yelled to the house. Charging into the mass of zombies ahead Vaga closed on the largest target. The zombie was huge but rotted to the point that size was the only real way to distinguish it.
Vagabond wanted To make a point even zombies would understand. With lighting speed he darted behind the Giant and jammed his hand into its back. Pulling sharply he remover its entire spine . As the Thing toppled on useless legs he crunched its head under his foot and casually tossed the spine away. As the zombies stopped to consider him with dead eyes Vaga just laughed. At least these zombies could fight back .
As one the dead began to growl and hiss. The mob fell on him like a wave. Just as he had hoped. He danced in that wave. He snapped legs and necks left and right. Faces crumpled under his iron fist. A child's corpse was laid to rest by his masterful knee.
A zombie on the outer edge of the pile stumbled away missing it's head. Near the center of the fight Vaga plucked the eyes out of said zombies head and popped them gingerly into his mouth. What a treat today was.
( How's that for injured.)

(Yeah, I was thinking that maybe his house is a bit godmoddish... but technically his dad put together most of the defenses, and who knows whom his dad could have been? Oh and Valencrow, Zombies in this RP are alive, just deranged/rabies infected... think of I Am Legend, or Left 4 Dead... that is where I got/am getting most of my ideas... plus if they are undead it would make them harder to kill, if they are alive you can shoot them anywhere and they will go down for good. and another thing, to spice things up there will be Hunters: Zombies that can jump really far... perhaps they were former mutants?)
Cedric grabbed his rifle and some extra ammo and ran back upstairs to assist with 'Mumbles' of whoever he was called. As he rushed into the room the window gave way and a zombie came barging into the room. It saw Cedric and charged at him, only to be met by a burst of gun fire to the chest. A couple more zombies were trying to get in through the window but Cedric killed them as well. Cedric saw Mumbles tear apart those zombies like they were nothing. He was glad that Mumbles was on their side, at least for the moment. He gave him some cover fire and took out a couple zombies that were far enough way to get a clear shot. In the darkness of the night more yells of the terrifying creatures could be heard as they all converged on this one house. Cedric shot them as they came into view but then one came flying out of the darkness instead of running and pounced Mumbles. "What the hell is that!?!"

The new thing hit him like a truck. Biting and scratching like an animal. The thing had him pinned to the ground and was trying to bit him in the face. "Get off" Vaga yelled. Planting both feet on the things chest he kicked straight up. The move flung the creature a good distance but it gracefully landed on it's feet.
Climbing to his feet Vagabond looked at his torn and battered skin. It was time.
Reaching up Vagabond grabbed hold of the charred and dead skin on his bald scalp. He then began to pull. His entire skin ripped away like an old rag. Beneath it was pale yet healthy skin. His only clothing; a pair of ripped up pants. Spiky black hair topped a youthful face. He looked at the jumping zombie through eyes that belonged on no human. Black where they should be white, with Glowing yellow pupils. "You! You are a challenge. "
With that Vagabond turned his back on the super zombie. Upon his back was a huge tattoo of the number 01. " Come! I'm eager to eat your heart." (I always liked these zombies better http://www.thezombiehunters.com/zombies.php now there are some special zombies. They even have a hunter class like yours. Anyway sorry I didn't read the zombies all the way through. I saw the words T-virus and just assumed dead things. O and before yo ask Vaga didn't insta-heal. That was just him getting rid of the torched skin he had left.)

Sage was covering from a diffrent room when saw the super zombie leap up and get him she got worried he would get bit. Then Sage saw him rip off his old skin like a catipillar to show someone else underneath. This worried her and surely he would have been very affected by the radiation A LOT to have such an ability. She did noticed the big number one on his back as well. Wondering why it was there or why he wanted such a thing on him, but instead of just sitting there all day wondering she was covering him to where the other zombies might attack him. She took down three hoping it would help.

The strange new zombies snarled at Vagabond and then jumped at him again with wild eyed fury. Cedric couldn't do anything to help him directly except try and take out the other zombies who were rushing him and the house. There seemed to be no end to them and Cedric saw his pile of ammo that he had brought upstairs was being depleted much faster than he would have liked.

Kayla raised a brow in confusion at what Vagabond had called her. "Pale WHAT?!" She said to herself. Maybe this guy was off his rocker. She kept her station, and kept peering outside through the crack. What she was was terrifying. At first she was quietly cheering on Vaga as he went, but then she grew slowly more and more awestruck, until she was just standing still like a marble statue, frozen in fear. She was VERY glad she was still in the house as she saw Vaga rip apart the zombies as they were tissue paper. Her hand clapped over her mouth as she witnessed Vaga pull off his scalp, which was hiding another? There was definatly more to this mutant than she had originally thought.

Sage made sure to keep her eyes on her targets as she yelled,"Hey Cedric I don't think we have enough ammo to take all these things out. We might have to run or we are going to start having to slash our way through them.... Unless Mumbles can take out quite a few more but I think he has his hands full."

"I think you're right." The last thing Cedric wanted to do was abandon his house, his family's house. It was all he knew, where would he go, but if he didn't survive today there would be no tomorrow for him and nothing would matter anymore. "Alright, fallback downstairs and start putting together all the supplies we need and can carry. HEY MUMBLES!" Cedric didn't know what else to call him at the moment, "FALL BACK TO THE HOUSE!" Cedric decided that now the only zombies he would take out were those that got too close to the window, so he shot them as soon as they climbed up onto the roof.

As Kayla heard the Cedric call out to Vaga she quickly returned to the door and unlocked the single lock. Opening it a tiny bit, she peered out the crack, waiting for Mumbles to charge toward it at any second.
