Limaren shot him a look that was meant to say something to the effect of:

Xi smiled at Limeran. "Now now, there isn't any need to stare. He just has a different nature. We feed on animals as well, just as he does. She looked at Rein again and back at Viva. "So Mr.Viva, when shall we proceed?"

He smiled at Limaren as if being sarcastic before he looked at Xi glaring slightly "i am one of those animals" he hissed slightly before licking off any blood on his fingers and hands.

Limaren gave Xi her most innocent look and then shot a sarcastic sneer back at Rein, before turning towards Viva with a look of patient expectation hoping his answer would be something like 'now.'

Xi simply smiled and chuckled slightly. She looked at Viva awaiting his answer.

Viva looks up again having lost himself in thought. He glance at the small group, and nods. "Yes, we can leave now. We should proably try to make our way to the border of Demora and ambush one of their patrols. "

Xi smiled. "Good. Let's go then. Mr. Rein, would you please come with me. I have something i need you to do. She turned around and saw Soran there behind her. She looked a him for a moment, to think of what she would say. "Soran, I need you to stay here, please?"

Soran looks at her with utter suprise. His expression changes again to hostility. Hostility towards Viva. "Of course Ambassador, I know the drill. Whenever the freak shows up, I get replaced! "

Xi glared at Soran. "Stop it. I just need to go somewhere for a while and talk with a few people and Viva knows how to get there. You are very strong and i need you to stay here to protect Mother and Father."

" I know this land better than him!"Soran snarls at Viva. His hand goes for his katana, but it stops just before he reaches it. He looks back up at Xi. "I...I...I live to serve, Ambassador."

Xi stared at Soran. "I know you live to serve. You have so much determination and that is why I need you to stay here, to protect the king and queen. If somehting happens to them, then this land will fall apart like the others." She sighed and tried to calm Soran down.

Soran bows before turning back towards the palace. "He's certainly friendly.." Viva watches Soran walk away it a guarded look.

Xi sighed and watched Soran walk away. "He really is nice.He is just a little too protective. Well, you heard him. He lives to serve." She turned and looked at Viva. "So, shall we go?"

This trip was going to be packed with entertainment value, Limaren was sure of it. No end of interesting behaviors to observe, that much was clear already.
Limaren looked at Lonin and smiled, saying: "Ready?"
The look on her face showed she had no doubt that the elf was even more anxious to get out of the city than she herself was. They'd already delayed for far too long.
