Looking at Eric's unease, she smiled inwardly. Pretending not to notice, she took their things upstairs, tripping on a stair and half falling half walking back down. "Ready to go, or do you guys want to wait?"

"Ready to go, or do you guys want to wait?" Amanda rushed up to help her. "Let's go right now, guys. I'm pretty bored and it'll be a fun change of scene, right Erik?" she asked, noting his quietness in mild confusion she was trying to get a response of some sort from him.

"Sure, let's go," said Erik, a bit more easily. He had decided that they were probably going to go anyway, and that if the vampires thought he was really uneasy about it they would definitely go. In fact, the only way he could possibly cause them not to go would be to act like there was no problem, which would probably make the vampires think it was some kind of trap.
He sure hoped it wasn't, but if it kept them from going that might do.

She looked at him, then smiled slightly, understanding what he was doing. She'd done it before, and it normally worked. Plus, he wouldn't dare do anything, Amanda was there. She ushered them outside, and locked the door. "It's easier if you go through the woods, it's a bit of a shortcut." she said, heading in that direction.

You don't know me... Marie frowned and shivered. The police had told her that her parent's bodies were found in the forest... but it was probably safe, probably no where near where they were. "All right," she said, frowning at Amanda's painfully happy expression and smiling at Eric's change of attitude. Maybe he was getting used to them; maybe he wasn't like other werewolves. Purposefully she ran a bit ahead of the couple, catching up to Saro. You don't even care...

"Don't worry, they're safe, where I'll take us anyway. Amanda's a bit of a good luck charm, no one would dare do anything with a human around." she muttered, only loud enough for Marie to hear, seeing her expression.

You don't know me... Marie cringed. "I hate it," she murmered back, glancing back at their friend. "That we'd even need to consider her a charm." Hugging herself tightly she concentrated forward again. Hopefully the shortcut really would be short. You don't even care...

"It's wrong, but it is true. The others and lycans can tell if a human knows about us, so they won't do anything around one who doesn't." she replied, entering the woods. "There isn't much of a trail, so don't stray too much or else you'll get lost." she said, turning to face the other two as she said it.

Saro heard something, then looked to her right, seeing another vampire. she glared at him, her eyes telling him to back off and that she knew there was a werewolf. "Stupid squirrels..." she muttered, in case one of the others had seen her look over. She lived in a vampire neighborhood, with a few humans and no werewolves. The woods were a common place for fights, the woods were between a werewolf neighborhood and Saro's.
