Eragon dashed towards Shadow King with an expression of anger and despise. This very being was the source of all this damage, of the pain, the lives of his people, everything. If he could end it here and now, that's just what he was going to do. Nothing stood in his way of him and his target. He noticed Shadow had not moved or made one motion to resist the oncoming threat, as though he was welcoming the blow that he was going to take.
As Eragon came within striking distance and slammed down his sword, Shadow king warped behind him and elbowed him down to the ground. He then faced his back toward him and looked on to the others. "Do not think a fight in your condition will be a successful one. Though, if you really do desire death at my hands, by all means, continue." He outstretched his arms as one would to welcome a hug. His sword remained on his back and his whip lay limp in his other hand. He dropped the whip to the ground and awaited for a response.
Inferno got out of the damaged vehicle and picked up his rifle. He quickly and painfully strapped it onto his back and took out his machine guns. It was then he deemed them useless against this opponent and almost dropped them both. If anything, he had to rely on his comrades to create a good enough distraction to catch this guy off guard. If he couldn't, there was always the knife trump card.
Gilvan too saw the opponent to be more of a challenge than he predicted, but he wasn't about to give up. He saw what he could do with tank shells, so guns seemed useless, but he had another idea. He rolled up his sleeves to reveal he had a metallic glove on his left hand. He shook out his arms, rolled his neck, and cracked his knuckles. "Ya chose the wrong lad ta piss off, ya oversized trow rug!" With that, he started dashing towards Shadow king, groaning as he brought back his gloved hand.

As Eragon laid face down in the dirt humiliated, he clutched his sword as tightly in his hand as he could. He tried to look behind him without drawing attention. He saw Shadow King had his back to him, and the others looked like they were about to attack. Trying not to make to much noise, he pointed his sword at Shadow King. With the last bit of his energy, Eragon prepared to fire a bolt of Lightning.

Beni had some energy return to him slowly. It may not have been apparent to anyone, even his own self, but the demonic side of him had been slowly growing over the duration of the battle. His aura thickened, and eventually materialized into a gaseous state. It was clearly visible, and it was breaking outward in waves. It was uninviting in many ways, as now his eyes were also. His sword was gripped tight as he drew more energy by the second, prepping an attack.

As Gilvan now rushed towards Shadow King, he slowed down his pace dramatically upon stiking distance so as not to end up like Eragon did. He expected the dark being to warp around, but found he was still as a board. He swung his fists around furiously, as his opponent waited till last second to react.
Shadow King's hand met with the metal fist and he ducked under as the other proceeded his way, upon dodging, he twisted and flipped Gilvan in the air, raised his foot, and slammed the muscular man down to the ground with it.
Gilvan expected him to do something like this. His back kissed the ground, but he wasn't finished just yet. One hand firmly gripped Shadow's foot, and the the other he used to flip himself back to his feet, as he'd flip Shadow to the ground respectively.
Shadow landed hard on the ground, and then seemed to melt into it. Gilvan looked around, but could not see where he went.
Aroura scanned the area as she found his location... a bit too late at that. Shadow had turned himself into a nine-o-clock shadow on the ground and had unknowingly attatched himself to her. As he did so, he sprung upwards behind her and thrusted his dark blade towards her back to stab, but was blocked off with Zeke's powerful shields.
Now Inferno saw what he had to do. A great defence should make an excellent offense in this fight, and an excellent offense should pummel him to the ground. Using offense on this being haphazardly would certainly end up in epic failure. He had no use for guns just yet, so he'd wait for his moment to arrive. He knew bullets had little to no effect, but he sure could keep him busy if he used enough.

Zeke was frightened a great deal when the attack landed into his shield. He held his ground, though. Furthermore the burns that his hands suffered did not affect his abilities either. This raised his awareness somewhat. He liked the idea of standing and holding his ground, observing his opponent's abilities. It may have proved quite useful if they survived long enough.
The residue of Beni's evil-seeming aura provided the perfect cover for a dash. While looking at his aura, there was the illusion his was standing still in the middle of it. The image of him would fade away with the aura only to show that the real Beni was standing in a defensive position with his sword at the ready, and within striking distance of this so-called 'Shadow King.' Beni was daring him to make a move.

The Shadow Kings whip reappeared in his other hand. As close as Beni now was to him and how he taunted the shaded being seemed to hold little concern. He replied to the act by swinging his whip horizontally at Beni while dashing into him with his sword in a defensive position.
Aroura attempted to attack while his back was facing her, but found Shadow had also used his magick to project a dark shield around his back.
Inferno used one machine gun to fire a stream of bullets at the being to test if his theory proved correct. As a result, he missed a few times by default, due to his condition, but managed to land a few shots directed right at Shadow. As the bullets neared, they seemed to go right through his body and proceed into the ground like he was a ghost. Either that, or he was travelling a faster speed than his eyes could catch up to.
Gilvan stepped over to Eregon and offered a hand to pull him back to his feet. "Looks like we'll work tagetha ta knock this lad to his knees, yes?"

Beni whipped his sword around in a wide infinity symbol. This not only would deflect light attacks, dispell magick to a point, and force his own energy outward in this shape at the same time, but it was a raw display of his speed. A wave of energy headed for Shadow King. To someone like Zeke, this figure-8 would not be distinguishable except for the trail it left behind, and to a slightly more trained eye, they might have even seen the flashing of the sword's reflection...but that would only tell them the sword was moving, and not the actual path of the swing.
Zeke realized that Beni had lost control again. Meaning, he had little regard for his 'allies.' The wave of energy didn't look to be stopping short right at Shadow King. He raised his shield and braced for the oncoming high-impact. This shield was never successfully tested against projectile made from pure energy before...

Shadow King had seen the display before him, and noted Aroura and Zeke behind him. Instead of taking the attack head on like he normally would have with his own display of magick, he warped around it completely by sinking into the ground and rising back up when it passed. He never stopped moving, and never lost momentum. His primary target was now this half-demon of sorts that stood before him. He placed energy into his whip, and it started to glow like purple fire. He swung it into a counter-circular motion, and would collide with beni's sword aterwords, if the whip struck it, it would send a burning sensation down the wielder's arm and into his entire body. He'd then strike with his sword to inflict mortal damage upon Beni as he was potentially stunned.

Beni took precautions as soon as he'd realized there was an amount of energy in his enemy's weapon. The target, he realized, was the sword. He drove the sword to the ground, dashing backwards. Beni knew this trick well, as it was one he liked to use often. He hoped Shadow King swung with enough force for the whip to wrap completely around the sword. He put his hands out with faulty shields in hand, and created the barrier.
Zeke watched the wave impact the shield as Beni raised his. This was the moment. Zeke thought this might have been his demise, but much to his surprise, the difference between solid and manifested energy was not what he expected. The 'x' shaped focal point of the attack flattened the shield out, then was redirected with an increased velocity. He saw what was to enfold...if it hit Beni's shield in the same manner, it would just keep bouncing back in forth, increasing its velocity exponentially. This was quite deadly as long as Zeke could keep his arms from falling off, or his shields from shorting out.

As Gilvan helped Eragon up, Eragon noticed that everyone was in the battle. Eragon saw Shadow was jumping around to. Eventually, Shadow stopped and shot his whip at Beni's sword. Eragon saw an opportunity in this split second. He knew Shadow's whip wasn't rubber, so it could conduct some electricity. Eragon saw the sword as a lightning rod. Eragon took aim at the sword, poring most of the energy he had left in a final, powerful bolt of lightning.

Shadow's whip did not hit its intened target. It caught the sword, but not the wielder. With one quick jerking motion, he pulled back on the whip to pull out Beni's sword from the ground. He'd sling the whip forward to launch it as a projectile, but was caught as a bolt of lightning struck it hard. The current travelled through the sword and into the conducting parts of the whip, where they made contact with his hand and proceeded through his body. The sword left the whip and hurled straight into the air, whereas Shadow was illuminated in electricity. He groaned a bit, and turned quickly to face his attacker. He dashed out of the way of the quickly reflected attack he expected to come his way earlier as Beni missed the first time. Aperantly, they were going to continue doing this, so he'd just wait it out until the attack was reduced to nothing more than a tap.
Aroura met the Shadow King head on to intercept his attack on Eragon. Both her blades met with his sword as he slammed into her. As they locked steel and shed sparks, Shadow's whip slung back for an attack. Here, she muttered a few words and her chains flew forward to entwine Shadow where he stood.
Shadow's attack with the whip quickly turned into a defensive maneuver as he attempted to use it to bring the chains down before they could do much more. He muttered a few words of his own and energy started piling up inside him at a focal point. It appeared as though he intended to build up this energy at an increasing rate.
Gilvan started jetting towards Shadow's and Aroura's position as he saw them locked in a strength battle. If Aroura couldn't hold out, he would be there to bail her out. "Hold on, Roura, I'm commin!"
Inferno started to believe more and more that guns were of no use in this fight. If he was to do anything, it had to be up close where he had nowhere to run. He was a bit weary on his knifes internal effect on him, but it was his one chance to prove himself dominant over its adverse effects. In any case, he had to help his comrades. He pulled it out and dropped his guns. "This is it." he muttered.

Zeke was almost useless in this battle, it seemed. Nothing he'd planned went the way it should've. But then again, little else really did. Beni watched his sword tumble in the air. Zeke turned his attention there, too. It was getting to its highest point. His attention was back on Beni. The face that he saw on Beni was not one he had a liking for, though. "Oh no..." he muttered to himself. He shook his head, then watched Beni nod, He shook harder, Beni nodded harder, with a smile. "Crap." He put his arms up in a forty-five degree angle as Beni dashed over to him.
Beni dashed over to Zeke. As he got close enough, he jumped straight at him, and his feet made contact with the shield that was angled perfectly for a straight-up jump. He let out a fierce cry as he kicked off and was flung in the air to catch the sword, where he proceeded to slam it to the ground creating a massive wave of energy directed toward Shadow King. It traveled fast toward his current location, and it was much more fierce this time. Twice as tall as Shadow King, and wide enough to not leave him able to dodge as easily as his previous one.

As Eragon looked at his sword, which barely had a glimmer to it because he lacked the energy to create much lightning, he realized he would have to make this a more physical battle. As Eragon turned toward shadow and saw shadow was already fighting with Aroura. He also saw a wave of energy heading at them. Eragon saw this as an opportunity and took off running behind the wave of energy. This way shadow couldnt see him, and if the wake missed, Shadow would be open to Eragons attack if the wave missed.

Aroura's chains were caught by Shadow's whip and the energy building up from whithin him was by now all to strong for her. She had seen the wave of energy behind him approaching at an increasing speed. She had to choose now to continue her attack with her chains, or slip into a defensive maneuver. If she did, however, Shadow might look behind him and evade the attack. Here, she had him at a standby to take any hit that came his way. As the wave neared, Shadow's power reached its peak, and the wave was but inches from impact. Gilvan was still a couple yards behind her, and the others were still a distance away. She braced for impact.
Upon reaching the peak of his power, he unleashed Hell as an immense diffusion of dark energy exploded from shadow's body. The wave behind him was disposed of, and all within a spherical radius of nearly 180yards would be forced backwards and burned with dark energy. This was with the remaining energy he had left within him, and afterwords slammed his sword into the ground and leaned upon it... exhausted.
Gilvan could not reach Aroura in time and they both were struck hard from the close proximity to the center of the explosion. They were both blasted to the ground. And their bodies were engulfed in purple flames. The flames died out after a few seconds, but the pain that it left was quite a lot for one person to handle.
Inferno had barely missed the widespread explosion as he was still standing atop the vehicle. He flinched back from the aftershock, and looked at what it left. It appeared only he, Beni, and Zeke would be the only ones to escape. He could not see Eragon though. In any case, he jumped down off the vehicle, and tried hard to embrace the dark energy that lurked within his knife. He saw Shadow exhausted, so he started running towards him, knife raised and mind focused. He had to save his teammates... he had to.
