Glen stopped playing as he got out of the carriage and walked towards the mansion and the waiting half elf, waiting for Fawks to take the lead in things. Normally he would just waltz up and introduce himself but he wanted to be sure not to step on any toes. Especially the toes of a particular rich and generous noble.

"I suppose it is." The woman sounds almost grudging as she says this, as though not really wanting to admit that the day is indeed nice.
"Are any of you Adrian Fawkes? I've been waiting for his lordship to return. They don't seem to want to let me inside until he gets back, and I'm beginning to consider kicking down his door to get out of this sun."

"Ahh, yes, Mister Fawkes. It is good to finally meet you."
The half elf throws her long reddish-blonde hair out of her face and turns her blue eyes to the others, sizing them up before turning back to Adrian.

"Likewise." He nodded and opened the doors as he led them to a nice dining room, some of the walls being decorated of past exploits. A few trinkets and broken weapons are shown hanging on the south wall. "Come make yourselves at home."

She nods briefly to Ivellios, before turning to follow Adrian into the house and appropriates a handy chair.

Glen remains standing and tips his hat to the woman. "Glen Twiddlefingers miss, good to make your acquaintance." he says going back to strumming his lute softly.

He follows them in the house looking around the room for a moment making sure to take in all that can be seen in the area. "Its a very nice household you have here sir." Ive said looking around more. "thank you for the offer but I will stand." He stated.
(is their a bookshelf or anything around?)

Harlarsh looks around the room, quickly taking stock of her surroundings. "Mr. Fawkes, may I ask you about the missing item you contacted me about? I would like to know when it was taken and any other information you may have about it and the thieves."

((There is a small bookshelf in the corner, along with a reading chair with some books.)) "Alright then. If you insist." Fawkes takes out another piece of paper and says," I've called you here because an item of great importance to me was stolen. Last night, the warhammer called Whelm was stolen from my vault and in its place was this letter ((Read first post. 3nodding ))." He passes it out for everyone else to read.

"Huh," Harlarsh hands back the note. "That's certainly unfriendly. Although if anyone tries to take me as a slave I'm afraid that I'll have to beat them to death with their own appendages."

Ivellios takes the piece of paper and looks it over while going through some of the books on the shelf. A little bit of excitement crossed his face, something unseen on him more often then not. Then looking the letter over in detail he looks up at Fawkes. "Its very interesting to say the least."

Glen reads it over once. "Interesting... They aren't too shabby with their prose." He commented reading it again, this time sort of humming a little tune that he was already inventing. This would make wonderful material! "So we are going after the weapon?"

"I've looked at it many times, and I think that it may be the work of a wizard named Keraptis." He turned and looked out the window, looking to the north. "And the 'feathered mound' I'm assuming is White Plume Mountain." Fawkes turned back to the group and smiled. "It is a mysterious place. But the job I ask of you is simple: Return Whelm to me, and I will pay you all ten thousand gold...each."
