i am glad i finally hit 21...my insurance was so freaking high till my last bday it went from 180 a month with full coverage with additional fire, theft, and flood insureance...just on my caprice. now its 89 a month. my trans am.....thats another story...like in the neighborhood of 240 a month sweatdrop but if anything happens to them besides at the track insurance will cover it.

$861 for 1 mil, $300 deductable on insurnace and vandalisim, and all the doodads.
that's 6 months, I pay it in one hit.

hot DAMN. I have a 5% discount on my insurance for having no accidents during my learners liscence. $751 and I have a very, very unhappy engine. Quote: 2nd gear, I mashed the gas to get going because it was uphill right? (Standard transmission, heavy truck) It bogged down, harsh, so I let off and had to get going the very, very slow way. Stopped to let someone by, because I was only going about 40kph. so when it flattened out again, I hit the gas and brought it to about 3000 rpm, and shifted to third. When I got back up to 60kph, like I was supposted to be, it was at 3400 rpm so I shifted to 4th. Instant bog down, almost stall, so I mash the clutch, drop back to second, and creep home. And when I had to get going after letting some guy pass me, it was uphill. So, I ended up doing my first (Very pathetic) Burnout on my new tires after redlining it and dropping the clutch.

Calentar, if I COULD abuse a 300 it would prolly say "******** off" and explode. I can't even get that thing to accelerate in 4th when on a slight incline. 3 grand on the tach is unheard of.
anyway, the engine is not sucking on old fuel anymore, and it's running alot nicer. the Transmission is not making any undesirable noises, and I didn't see any more fluid in my driveway. So after driving it to school tomorrow, I'll check everything again.
now to let all my buddies drool over the paint and tires. twisted
