"Maybe," was the red headed woman's response to his question. She was not entirely sure herself if he would have or not. He had not made it seem as though he was going to kill her, even if she had hurt him with her watch. Her watch... Sitting up, she groaned, "I lost my watch!" It might have seemed odd to others but she cared more about her posessions than she did herself. Also, it was the only watch she had and it was a natural Vampire repellent. It was important to her now more than ever.

She attempted to get up on wobbly legs. There was no way in Hell she was going to let that watch escape her now. It had developed instant value! She also made a mental note to buy more silver to keep on her when she was alone.

Clifford quickly swept her off her wobbly feet and placed her back on the couch. "Please don't move. I will retreive it for you." Now he was very glad that he wore gloves most of the time. He used his speed once again to retreive the watch and return to her side before a minuet passed. He held the watch out to her by its chain and gvae her a reasuring smile. "Not even dented." The metal would have been irritable to his skin but not burning as it had been to the other vampire who attaacked her. "Ms Anderson...if you feel that our job is unsafe now I understand if you no longer wish to aide us in our cause. However I can not promise that that individual will not come back. In fact I am sure he will be back to try and finish what he started. And I am afaid to tell you dear lady that from his eyes I could tell the killer instinct growing in him."

Liek cackled merrily in response to his rhyme. "I think I like you, even if your words aren't true. I shall show you the way now, and hopefully you will not become a cow." She once again danced forward and wrapped her arms around one of his with a giggle as she tugged on his arm so they could be on their way. Ince to the haven she tugged him to her normal table and settled with a call for two of her teas. "Do not be fooled by its name, the flavor is somewhat the same."

Glee was foremost on her mind as she watched the man. Her hat sat beside her and her stocking feet were up on the seat bringing her knees to her chest. When the tea was brought she added two cubes of sugar from her pouch on her belt sash. Once stired she sipped the thick crimson liquid, now sweetened to a major difference.

Adrien hadn't the strength to argue with the woman. He was exhausted. Crying as he had usually made him tired and disfunctional. Though, he was relieved to have finally gotten it out of his system. Now he wouldn't be brooding over it for months on end. He would still feel grief over the whole situation, but it wouldn't be like a knife in his back. Instead, it had been turned into a rather annoying splinter in his shoe.

He nodded his head and stood from the bed, stretching lightly. He didn't know why he should go through his wardrobe. Maybe it was because his clothes were filthy. Or, perhaps the woman was trying to find something to keep his mind busy. Both options were plausible enough.

She sensed his confusion about the wardrobe comment, and she turned to give him a wane smile, seeing as a bright cheery one was not appropriate at this time. "Vampires are know to dress a bit old-fashioned, but very elegant nonetheless." She gestured to her own black gown. "I don't know why, but every vampire and vampiress has this instinct to. It's sort of like our trademark." She looked Adrien up and down. "You definitely need it..."
Ariai pointed at the walk in closet near the bed. "In there. You'll find something. The closet will give you what you want. It can read your thoughts." She smiled and walked out to fetch him something to eat.

Calli watched the couple entr and immediately recognized the male as the one who had followed the human. She noticed that the woman was one she had seen with Georg's friends. Wanting to know what had happened to the human, Calli stood and approached their table. "Good evening, miss, sir," she said, turning to each. To the male, she said wryly, "You take your meals rather quickly." She smiled at the lady. "I hope I'm not intruding. I was just wondering what fate Ms. Anderson met after her encounter with your gentleman friend."

Sighing, Faith rubbed her temples. He was offering her a way out of this; a way for her to potentially remain safe. "I... need this job..." she said quietly. She looked around her rather pathetically empty apartment. She could barely afford it. Even with the money she had already been given... it would run out quickly. "I blew my chance at learning something useful once tonight... I am not going to give up just because of a little set back!" she said as she looked up at Clifford. She doubted that he understood what it was like to be a young woman in a line of work that held little to no promise. People ahd thought she was crazy, and maybe she was, but she was following her dreams.

"He will pay for what he did to me," she growled out quietly. Revenge was another reason she was staying on the case for. If she had an opening to do away with the creature that had tried to kill her then she would definitely jump at it.

Adrien sighed, seeing as he really couldn't refuse such a generous offer as free clothing. He might as well take it, if only to fit in with the stereotype. Maybe he would feel better for what he was if he looked the part. Right now, he was still a dead wood-cutter's cursed son.

He opened the closet and peaked in, pawing through the different shirts and bottoms that appeared before him. None seemed to be quite his style - until he stumbled upon something in the back of the wardrobe.

He pushed the clothing aside and stepped in to stand in front of the outfit in question. It was quite sumptuous, with a poet's shirt the color of grape juice that tied up the front with lace strings. The collar was elegant and ruffled, with matching sleeve cuffs. There was a pair of obsidian trews, with a pair of black leather boots that buttoned up the side.

Adrien stripped, setting his discarded clothes on the bed, and began to dress himself in the chosen outfit.

Deimos followed Liek devotedly towards the Haven, and then inside it. He sat down and flipped some of his dark hair over his shoulder as the vampiress ordered. When the tea arrived, he put nothing in it. He liked his tea black. Sipping it tenderly, the demon smiled once he put down his cup. "If my words were indeed not true, what would you do? I'm glad that this place you've shown me, for otherwise I would have no place to be," beamed the bloodsucker. He loved rhyming with this woman. It made him think in a creative manner that most creatures did not inspire.

Clifford could understand why she wanted revenge. It was only right after she had been attacked. "Just please understand that not all of my kind behave like he did. In fact we are opposite. In truth most campires don't even going out and hunt their food anymore thanks to blood banks and secret places that we can get food from." He wanted to put her mind at ease that he would not harm her at all. "I am sure you have questions that I can answer. After all you should know something about us if you are going to be helping us."

"All the knowledge I require I have study on my own," she responded softly as she watched him curiously. It was like watching a movie of the olden days come to life. Clifford was such a proper gentleman that it startled her. With a forlorn sigh, the red head rubbed her sore neck and looked at the floor. "However... isn't the victim supposed to feel some sort of ecstasy when being fed upon? That's how all the books make it sound," she murmured. It seemed like a rather foolish question after just being Vampire food but she wanted to know.

Ariai came back in bearing a tray with a large cup of tea and a heaping plate of cookies. "Adrien, I trust the closet has found you some suitable clothes?" she called. "It can sometimes be stubborn and not let you find something until you reach the back..." She set the tray down on the bedstand. "Hm...just a littlest bit of light..." She brought her right index finger to her lips, with her other hand supporting it. She softly whispered a few words, and three candles lit and burned faintly in the room. "As soon as you are done eating, you will find me in the parlor room. It's left of here, the last door in the corridor." She walked off the the parlor room and sat down, trying to contact Clifford telepathically.

The man chuckled a bit. "Only if done properly. That...one was not trying to cause you any pleasure. Not by any means." He paused being reminded of the few times he had taken blood from a living mortal. "There is a certain romance when bitten properly...because of that bitting is almost never done unless it is envolving changing one into a vampire or to increase an emotional situation." He folded his hands in his lap and looked at her. Perhaps that was the point of this attack...to drink from someone terrified sensless...but if that was the case this whole mess would be far more dangerious then exspected.

Nodding, Faith stood up and on shakey legs headed towards her kitchen. She felt ravenous. Whether it was from the blood loss or because she hadn't eaten in hours she could not determine. All that mattered was that she get food. "Uh... I don't suppose you eat normal food, huh?" she asked loud enough so he could here. She had a knack for having moments of pure idiocy where she asked blatantly obvious questions. Of course, she could just claim to be delerius from the loss of her blood.

"Well I don't mind having regular old food. I am sure there are purists out there that only want blood but I am not one of them." He was joking hoping to help lighten things up. "However I am not hungery at the moment. Thank you for asking though." He watched her trying to make sure she would not fall for he knew it took a while to recover from the blood loss. "What drove you to investigating the paranormal? I find it highly interesting that there is such a professtional out there that is not a fraud in such matters."

SHe opened her fridge adn grabbed a package of Hungarian salami before shutting the appliance and sitting at the table slowly. "It's a passion... I have always devoted my life to paranormal research. I've held normal jobs... but not for long," she responded as she took a slice of the lunch meat and shoved it in her mouth. She was too exhausted to make herself an actual sandwich. She was content with eating just the meat. It tasted just as good plain. "Although, it could use mustard," she mused to herself as she shoved another slice in her mouth.
