She nodded and gave him a small kiss on the cheek. She ignored her surroundings and decided not to consider any distractions at the moment.

Kira started walking again feeling a little better. Hidden in the trees being as silent as humanly possible assassins were watching the two.

"Do I what?" He asked stopping and looking around. He knew she felt it too but he was going to act like nothing was wrong. The assassin sat and watched waiting for a moment when they were most vulnerable. No. He was most vulnerable. His target was the boy.

Laura realized he knew what she was talking about and smiled. "Do you like strawberries?" She asked him randomly. The topic was random enough that she knew Kira would know.
