"Oh well then I have an idea." Deliza replied softly and set her tea down "Riley will you be a dear and come help me with something please?" she smiled warmly and motioned for him to follow her.

"Oh, coming Deliza!" said Riley, going to his sister in law.
"A piece with taste great, I am kind of hungry," Tuff shrugged.

Cassie sliced off a generous strip of the fish she was working on and offered it to Tuff, "I can't help snacking while I cook.." She admited.

Deliza led him outside the kitchen "I want you to go help the nurses with the soldiers down in the medical ward, in return I will bake you a batch of whatever cookies you want." she smiled

"Really!? Oh boy oh boy oh boy!" Riley trotted off, distracted for the time being.
Tuff took the offered piece of fish and chewed it quietly. "So... umm..." he blushed, "This may sound rude, but what exactly are you?"

Cassie went back to cutting up the fish, not offended in the least. "I don't actually know. Sad, right?" She slid cubed fish flesh from the cutting board into a bowl. "I've never met anyone that's looked like me. Kids when I was younger called me a mutant. I probably am, you know, from a were-fish species."

Deliza walked back in, short one Riley. She smiled and went back to drinking her tea, feeling accomplished.

"Well, so what if you are?" said Tuff confidently. "It's no crime to be different. Diversity is the secret to life! Take me for example." He began dicing up another fish for the pie.

She grinned, "You seemed to have turned out fine, there's hope for me yet." Cassie mixed a first batch and began pouring the filling into pie tins that had already beenlined with dough. "I hope six pies will be enough.."

Deliza looked at her husband and smiled a bit "So," she set the mug down and hugged him around the waist and laying her cheek on his chest so she could more discretely talk to him "Did I do good?" she giggled softly

Cassie laughed at Tuff's joke, "I hop so." Brushing her bangs away from her eyes she left a streak of flour on her forehead. Placing flattened dough over the top of the filled pies she tripped the rest of the crust and cut a simple design of a fish on the tops for venting of steam. "First baking round ready!"

She smiled and squished him before trotting off to open up the already preheated oven "Start setting 'em in you two." she smiled

Tuff helped put the pies into the oven. He spotted the streak of flower on Cassie's forehead and smirked.
Credenza was in her room, fast asleep but trembling in her dreams.

Cassie had flour in other places too, having wiped her hands on her pants while lacking an apron, she did not seem to mind much. A good swim would rinse it all off anyways. "Those need a half an hour, then a few minutes to cool." She smiled at Tuff and patted his arm. "Thanks for the help!"
