Ling doesn't know Japaneese.
Nope.
I have no clue.
The thing is,
I said it to try and fit in with
my various online friends.
Why?
Everybody wants to fit in, if you want to admitt it or not.
So I ask for your forgiveness,
as I have lied. ;D
I read the scanlations,
but I STILL do have a subscription to SG,
and still have liked Hagaren since waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back.
Just don't know the language.

Ling has been in a funk lately.
She won't be on Gaia much lately.
Admittadly,
I'm getting slightly bored. =o
Probably just a phase.

I had a hunch about that.

Ever since I asked you what the newest chapters where.

Well it's all right.

Everyone has their little white lies.

Damn,
I'm predictable.

I can't listen to that much Wagner..

Aww, it's undertsandable. 3nodding Your position of awesome-ness stands unwavered!
Let's see, do I have any similar stories?
For some reason, my personality and interests completely change depending on who I'm talking to. It sucks.
For example:
Talking to Yao Ling--->Scotty is obnoxious FMA-loving Heid fangirl.
Talking to her friend Jack--->Scotty is an insanely serious 'cellist, concerned only with her upcoming auditions for various orchestras &etc.
And I hope you feel better heart

..I start getting the urge to conquer Poland.

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?

Trying to fit in
Like in your other confession in the "I won't let you dress up like a slut, little girl!" thread, we still love you, Ling! It's not like it was anything too serious like if you were secretly a fifty-year-old man stalking us or something (I seriously don't mean that...just an example, lol).
Truth is, everyone wants to fit in; it's human nature. Even if someone was a psyopathic serial killer with a superiority complex...okay, maybe. But it's ironic, we do everything to fit in, if we are rejected, we shun that group and try to fit in somewhere else. Sometimes, it never happens. Even if we feel accepted and loved by a group, we might not feel like that is the absolutely perfect place that we belong. Ah, the bittersweet experience of being human.

Damn. How did one thought turn into a philosophical rant?
Now, if only I could write this much in a short time in something like a school essay...I confuse myself.
Confessions
...Something I don't make too often. Either I tell the truth, or when I lie, I don't want to reveal it or else my goose is cooked.
Various things you have said
It's more of things I not have said than things I have said...I'm very opinionated, surprisingly, but I suppress my thoughts...I don't want to offend people and I don't want equally opinionated yet outspoken people offending me.

@ Scottscoon: Same with me! It's like I have different personalities for different situations...

Well thank you all,
now I don't feel as much as an idiot.
whee
@ Scotty and Sonata-
Everybody has a different personality on the internet,
as you really are anonymous. (check my spelling)
You have to think about what to say,
and you don't have facial expressions to help you.
surprised
But I tend to have the same personality IRL, too.
whee
@ Sonata alone-
I, myself, am also very opinionated,
and most people take it
as me hating everybody and everything. ):

I like you guys a whole lot better than most of my friends IRL. Besides, I get no Valentines Day love from almost any of them. .__.'

Trying to Fit In
I can fit into any group I please, but once I start talking about my own thoughts and interests, then I get booted out. I'm in my own group with my peeps. talk2hand

I don't want to "fit in" with any groups, anyway. If they really are interested, they'll come to me.

Confessions
I can be very envious of others and belittle my own features and talents. I feel as though I'll never be at the top of someone's list.

I find that I have many personalities, according to the given situation. o3o

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?

Well, I know you guys are better than my imaginary friends that I hang out with at school. wink
I'm not really companions with anyone...I sometimes try to sit with my classmates at lunch, but I have nothing to contribute to their conversation at all. If I could relate to them more, maybe I wouldn't be were am now.

@ Ling: Which is why I like the Internet instead of IRL...I'm an introvert, if I don't think about what I'm going to say, my speech ends up being all funny (think: stutterings and wrong words) and it's no pressure like being on a telephone or face-to-face. I bet my friend can relate to your comment of being opinionated...and other than the fact she was wearing black to the dance, everyone thought she was emo, and since she was honest about her opinions everyone hated her. D: And IMO, she was a really cool and fun person to be with. It's kind of why I suppress my opinions...I don't like being despised, especially since I don't really have anyone with me.

@Kaze: Aww. Don't worry; I think the rest of the guild and I have plenty of Valentine's Day love to spare! I miss elementary Valentine's Day, though...we missed class to have a party, ate tons of candy, plus nobody's ever excluded because you give those tiny valentine-themed cards to everyone. I can a bit know about the "if they really are interested, they'll come to me Cosette, the light is fading" statement. My parents encourage me to be social, saying that I have to come and be friendly to them.

Thou art more lovely and more temperate.

It's odd, isn't it? I'm friendly, honest, and will respond when I am spoken to, but that doesn't seem to get me anywhere.

For example, in my language arts class two weeks ago:

Everyone in that class has a best buddy/buddies, except for me. So when our teacher, Mrs. Ryan, said that she was considering letting us pair up with each other for a project, I raised my hand (I'm amazed that she could see it, it wasn't up very high) and said, "Well, there's bound to be at least one person *HINT* that would be left without a partner, or that person would be paired with someone that they most likely could not relate to."

And, I swear, every head turned to me and I got the ugliest glares and looks. gonk

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?

Poor Kaze. *hugs* What happened on the project?

I usually am not stuck like that...everyone knows I'm a straight A student almost all the time, so whenever they are with a group project, their ideal group is "their friends + me" because they think they'll get a guarteed good grade. xd

Thou art more lovely and more temperate.

She joined us into big groups, and I'm a bit excluded, but that's okay, I can spend that time drawing and getting farther on the work. o3o;
