Pride adjusted her loosely-fit glasses, preparing herself for the worse. Although she knew Greed inside and out as any sister would, the human he had chosen wasn't one to look deep within himself. He was the type to keep things on surface and not to stray too far from the present situation. He would be a hard one to pull because of this.
"I really don't see why Greed always has to choose the insensitive ones..." Pride sighed, trying to pull Greed to them with mockery and tease, completely ignoring the human side of Greed. She glanced behind her to Lust. "At least Lust here can find easy prey."
Roy, obviously, looked confused and a very much irritated for them to waste his time on such playful acts. It wasn't working, Pride finally realized. Greed really did hang himself with the rope Father gave them. Had he really trapped himself inside a human this time?
As the man was about to speak, Pride started again, interrupting him. "Never mind." She said with a smile. "Yes, we are not very familiar with this area of town. Might you show us to the nearest hotel?"
Roy starred down Pride hard, then the other sins, one at a time, for a long while. It was his way of studying them, yet still, he couldn’t make anything of it. “Uh-huh…” He finally said, changing from a serious stare-down in an uncanny, uncaring tone. “And just who might you people be?" He asked, striding towards the rest of the group, observing them with gleaming eyes. Pride's prior statement about this 'Greed' and 'Lust' had him easily intrigued. "Don’t get me wrong or anything," He added, "But you guys just don’t seem the type to trust.”

Gluttony sighed even as she stayed in the background. Flipping her blonde hair, she wondered what could be done to make Greed's human trust them somewhat. She thought back, comparing the variety of humans he had been known to choose over the years.
Always having felt a special kinship with Greed, she contemplated what sort of thing would draw her out if her human had kept firm hold of her. She eyed him beadily, appraisingly, even as he spoke.
Gluttony stepped forward again and smiled as she addressed him, "You must not be from around here. I suppose you don't recognise who I am?" Before he could respond, however, she pulled out a hefty sum of money and presented it to him. "Suffice to say, I come from a wealthy family and my friends and I have needs of your assistance. Couldn't you escort us out? We can certainly discuss this over a drink or something, could we not?"

Roy eyed the girl’s handfull of paper money, then the girl. "Sorry." He said coolly, looking up to her. "Not familiar with the poplars of town. More of an underground citizen myself, if you catch my drift.” He turned his back to the others and put his hands in his pockets with a sly look. “But on the other hand… a cup of tea does sound like a fine way to end the day... As well as to treat such a fine lady and her... companions.”
He had to admit, these four people did have his attention for the most part, a rare quality for him to find in someone. He had many questions for them and possibly a few offers in the industry. “My treat.” He added, turning his head back with a smile. “Good business today... can’t help but to let myself to a reward.” He started to walk off out of the subway station towards the local bakery, expecting the four strange newcomers to follow. Gaining their trust by buying them drinks was only the first step in manipulating these novice citizens into a banking account.
Pride looked around once they exited the subway station. The sun was going down and as she looked on, she started to recognize the part of town they were in. It was no surprise that she did… that any of the sins did. After all, century after century, they would come back to the same city of Toulon, France and perform the same routine. Memory was essential and came back with time, but they had already let Greed’s human know their lack of knowledge and direction in the area. No matter what memories and information came to them, they were forced to lay low and merely follow.

Envy didn’t much like Greed. The sin was entirely too much like herself. If they ever worked together he had always taken a larger half of their earnings for himself. She only worked with the others to awaken him now because it was her duty as a sin. But it doesn’t mean she enjoyed it.
She followed the others silently sending out negative vibes. She wanted them to know she wasn’t pleased with Greed's sin, even in human form he was, in the best words she could think of, a slime ball.

"So, if you don't mind my asking, just what are you fine ladies... and man... doing so far out in town?" The sleek man asked, as they sat at a diner's coffee table, coffee in hand. "Oh, but before you answer such a personal question, we should best introduce ourselves. My name is Roy Valentine. And who might you eccentric people be?"
Roy took no time in his decision that these people weren't exactly normal. The way they held their energy... and their eyes. It wasn't something inhuman, but it wasn't something completely normal either. Whatever it was, it interested him a great bit.
