The soul is the origin of sentient thought. It is also a medium of power between the heart and body. The heart feeds power into the soul which then strengthens the body.
When a person dies his body deteriorates.
His heart returns to Kingdom Hearts.
And his soul is recalled to Gaia.
The birthplace of all souls, Gaia is a river that encircles all worlds extending infinitely. Broken and dead souls are brought and reincarnated. Perhaps this cycle is why the battle between darkness and light has never ended.
The sacrifice of Terra, Aqua, and Ven forestalled the impending doom of Xehanort's ambitions, but darkness does not sleep. It was not long before new threats came into existence. The flow of the river of souls was disturbed and thousands of souls were dispelled and rejected. These Phantoms of worlds long past began their reign of terror, unleashing their infinite anguish on the present. The culprit of such a heinous crime would have to have been malicious, merciless and above all… powerful.

This Role Play is based around the Final Fantasy The Spirits Within movie and takes place after Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep.
