Welcome one and all to the Elven Republic, a nation born specifically for the refuge of our elven brothers and sisters. We here in the Republic have built this nation in the pursuit of making good friendships, engaging in literate and exciting roleplays, and just having fun. Whether you plan to have a permanent residence here, or are just passing through, we’d be delighted to have your acquaintance. To give you a brief idea of the depth our nation, I’d like to present you with our History. Unfortunately it is not finished, but then again, it is hard to keep up with history as it is always being updated. If you are not interested in reading it now, let me give you a brief synopsis.We started out as a kingom of dark elves, beholden to our king Harognoth. We were small, but we prospered. Then one day, our King disappeared, suddenly ill. We were reduced to a clan, unsure of our future or what would become of our budding nation. It was then that the small group of dark elves left decided to take a new path. We would be a republic, able to work together so that should one of us fall, the others would keep the nation going. We also made the decision to open our door to all elves, regardless or color or type. For it would be our demise should we continue to protect only dark elves. So if you are an elf, and wish to come join us, we will heartily welcome you after you meet a few conditions. First, we'd like you to look over the Laws of Our Land. We do not wish to deceive you about any of our policies, and to help with that we'd like you to be educated about what is socially acceptable within our walls.
