One hundred years ago, an arrogant Shinigami captain dared to try and transcend the levels of the ordinary soul reaper. He tried to craft an entirely new being that was both soul reaper, and hollow. A guardian, and a destroyer. he succeeded, and the being known as the Vizored, came into being. This Captain deceived his comrades in the Soul Society, and faked his own death. he was then revealed by a young man named Ichigo Kurosaki, who was a human, but also a soul reaper.
The war against Aizen and his formidable Espada was long and grueling, and before the war would see its end, many Soul reapers would be sacrificed to the war machine. Those days have passed, and the world of the living and the Soul Society alike have seen almost a century of peace, but that is about to change. Ichigo Kurosaki is now dead, and no one stands ready to thwart Aizen's second attempt at his rise to power.
Aizen is imprisoned, and his tool, the hogyoku destroyed, but deep within the deserts of Hueco Mundo, dark energies are gathering, and it will take the entire strength of soul society to stand against the threat renewed. The only question is, How powerful is Aizen with his Zanpakuto shattered?
