If you wish to send donations of items or ITEMS OR GOLD send a PM to Gilded Goddess FIRST - we have an excess of certain items, a need for others and varying schedules for the guild VCs who receive item donations and then disburse items on behalf of the guild so please, PLEASE, respect this, it's for your protection as well as ours, so that we can we can keep track of item origins for the people who will be receiving them, sort of chain of custody for pixels yum_puddi

PLEASE NOTE: In order to join this guild you must have a public profile or a profile that can be seen by friends (and and you MUST send a friend request to GILDED GODDESS for this purpose). This is absolutely essential as your wish list is in your profile and without a wish list you cannot receive items from a list you don't have. If you have a closed profile, closed PMs and/or closed friend requests your request to join the guild be automatmically denied. Closing your profile after membership is also grounds for removal.

*DO NOT* submit a request to join if all you want is a donation, we don't operate that way - we believe in reciprocation and paying good fortune forward. If your request or profile mentions the word HACKED anywhere your application will be automatically declined.

There was some question over the mention of previous accounts and banned accounts - this is fine. If you've had an account previously and you forgot the password, you couldn't do a reset because you changed email addresses, you never in a million years thought your brother/sister/best friend/girlfriend/boyfriend/relative would EVER take anything from your account and then BANG, some of your items turn up missing, that happens. Even being banned and having to start over happens.

The point here is that no one gets hacked. Being "hacked" implies a lack of security on the part of GaiaOnline and this does not happen. People lose items and accounts because they fall for scams, share accounts, share passwords or are just plain careless and if you fall into any of these categories you must learn to take responsibility for the security of your account before you will be considered for membership.

This guild is about GIVING as well as getting - that includes community support from other members, friendship, advice and help with tips on how to earn gold and where to find items at the best prices. If you have come here expecting to be gifted with a donation without doing anything to earn it, please move along, nothing to see here. This guild specializes in giving a hand UP, not a hand-OUT.

GUILD CHARTER
      Items and funds will be disbursed to members requesting assistance or who are questing items who have completed the requirements for receiving assistance/quest help/donations. Items will be disbursed randomly according to WISH LISTS or QUEST THREADS so it is your responsibility to keep yours UP TO DATE.
      YOU MUST BE **LITERATE** - by literate I mean that chatspeak is a shortcut to laziness and a lack of concern for how you appear to others. We prefer to represent this guild with dignity and intelligence as well as generosity.
      To be eligible for reduced priced items you must have an active quest thread, a quest bar or other means of showing your progress. This is important because we need to know that you are truly working toward your goal(s). To be eligible for random gifting, holiday gifting or special donations you must have a current wish list with items that are reasonably obtainable by other members.
      You must send your request from your *main account* - and we have more than one mulehunter on our council, and we're very good at what we do, so don't even try it. We will view your forum posting history since posting in the forums is a significant way of earning gold; it is also how we get to know you a bit before we accept your request for membership. We are not stalking your posts, we are simply observing your interaction with other users in the forums and determining that you use more than monosyllabic sentences like "bump". If this is a problem for you, this guild is probably not where you belong.
      Guild members are expected to treat each other with respect within the guild and on the entire Gaia Online website and all its games (zOMG, HoC, etc) and associated sites. Any member found to be in violation of any of Gaia's terms of service or rules and guidelines will be removed from the guild permanently. Our core principles here are playing by the rules, being kind to others and working for the items we want and helping each other out whenever we can. Pretty simple, really. If for some reason you don't agree with any of that then you should probably try another guild.
