Throughout the Gaian Forums one can find weddings, parties, balls, and other major events being hosted by many different users. Some may wish to host their own events, but feel like doing so might be too difficult or too tedious. I know I've felt that way before.
Gaian Coordinators, Inc. is here for these people. We are here to plan your parties, your weddings, your events just for you. Hosting will never be as easy as it can be if you use Gaian Coordinators, Inc.

Some events will be held at The Gaian Events Plaza, please make sure you stop by the plaza at any time. You will need to if you are hosting any private events.

Rules

Here are the basic rules for these offices. Try to follow them so that there are no unpleasant occurances.

1) Follow the TOS--This is pretty simple, Gaia has a set of rules that everyone should follow everywhere.
2) Be Polite--Rudeness will not be tolerated.
3) No netspeak--It's just not attractive and it gets to be annoying. Form complete sentences, please.
4) Payments should be met in a timely fashion--Payments for any events we plan should be paid. If they aren't paid after a certain period of time you will be banned from these offices. I will take every measure to make sure you are punished for any services you take and do not pay for.
5) What the President Says Goes--If you suggest an idea or if you want me or the office to do something for you and I say no then you must respect that decision.
6)No Begging, advertising, or annoying antics--If you want us to link to you then check the Post with links and see how you can get your link placed there. Begging will be punished by warning and then banning, pming someone to beg counts as well.
7)PAYMENTS: Whatever the cost of your event you must pay a quarter of the charge before we will host the event. Once the event is finished then you have two weeks to pay us unless you specifically speak with Zinka.

We reserve the right to add and remove rules as we see fit.

Weddings

If you are trying to plan a wedding then this is where you need to be. Read all of the following information before you inquire about us planning your wedding.

Weddings through Gaian Coordinators, INC. are special events. You personally choose everything you want to happen and we merely take care of the making sure it happens. Before you ask us to plan your wedding, however, there are a few things you should think about:

-Do I want a Private or Public Wedding?
This is an important question. A public wedding means we will host the thread for your wedding in the chatterbox. This had both good and bad results; it means more people can stop by and congradualte you but it also meanms that jerks may show up and crash your party. Having a private wedding means your wedding will be hosted in one of the locations at The Gaian Events Plaza, and only invited guests will be able to attend.

What type of wedding will I have?
This is also very important. Do you want a more structured wedding, with vows, and someone to preside over the ceremony(for example, the one who says "Do you promise to hold and to cherish, etc)? If so then you will need to either choose someone to do so and tell them what you would like them to say or Zinka will gladly preside over the ceremony for you. If you choose to have Zinka do it you will need to let her know exactly what you want her to say. If you don't want a very structured or religous wedding then the couple can simply say vows or procede however they see fit.

-Do I want a simple or Complex wedding?
this choice is up to you. A more complex wedding will obviously mean more gold spending on your part but it also means that it will be a bigger celebration. It could mean you choose to have bride's maids and a best man, a cake, a very specific ceremony or anything small and specific you choose to include. a simpler wedding is cheaper but would probably be less detailed in its execution.

-Casual or Blacktie?
This is a simple question that affects only the way the avatars who attend need to be dressed. If you choose casual then anyone can wear what they like. If you choose blacktie then you will need to make sure you have the proper attire (dreses, suits, etc.) Or you could choose a more specific dress code, such as requiring everyone to wear angelic items.


arrow After thinking about these questions you will want to choose a wedding site. If you choose to host a private wedding then please visit The Gaian Events Plaza and choose one of the locations there for your wedding. If you choose to have a public wedding in the chatter box then you may still choose from the following settings for your wedding:

-Hillside/Plains

Prices
For each wedding we plan you will start off with a basic charge for having us plan the wedding. After that initial charge you can choose additional features which will gather more charges to you event. Certain times of the year will mean discounts for certain events or options.

~Certificate of Marriage
Public&500 g
Private&750 g

Additional Features:
~Invitations made by us (You will have to provide a guest list for us to send them to)

-500 g for the first picture, 100 g for each picture after that

~Servers/Waiters (if you choose to hire them through us)

Parties

Parties are happening in Gaia all the time and now, no matter who you are, we'll throw a party for you. Parties can be a lot of fun but just as with weddings there are a lot of things you'll have to think about before you throw your party:

Choose a party type before you request your party. Special additional features will be listed under each type.

-Birthday--Birthday cake(made by us) automatically included in basic party price.

~Additional Feature: Entertainers form the office(office staff wil dress up as either, magicians, jesters. clowns, or animals and entertain at your birthday party.

-Bachelor/Bachelorette--If you desire it, dancers are included in basic price for these types of parties. If you are planning the wedding through our services then you receive a discount on this party's basic price.

-Anniversary--Make sure you specify what type of anniversary, is it your anniversary for how long you've been on gaia? OR is it a couple's anniversary? That sort of specification is important.

-Holiday--Make sure you specify what holiday you are celebrating.
The followings are holidays we know to clebrate so far, other may have holidays we don't know about, feel free to let us know about them^.^

Balls

Balls are simply very very nice Parties. There are a few differences of course but mostly they are the same.
Please still read eveything so that you understand the differences.

This is because I feel balls are very nice events which should require invitations. If you don't think so then you can either host the ball on your own or simply throw a public blacktie party. The effect is similar to a ball. Since all balls are held in The Gaian Events Plaza then please be sure to choose a venue from the plaza.

-Casual or Blacktie?
This is a simple question that affects only the way the avatars who attend need to be dressed. I feel that all balls should be blacktie, otherwise it isn't really a ball. But if it is a specific ball then you are allowed to require a specfic dresscode which will be noted on the invitations(for example you can require everyone to wear angelic items).

-Am I charging an entrance fee for the ball?
If you wish to make money throwing a ball then you are allowed to charge a fee for admission into the ball. This works through The Gaian Events Plaza.{Since the plaza is actually a guild, for a ball I can make an member fee to the guild that matches your admission price. Then those who wish to attend the ball must join the guild and pay. I will give the funds to you after the ball is over and delete all members from the guild} Remember, if you choose to host a ball which has a admission fee then I will take 10% of the admission sales. This is only fair and is a reasonable price. However, if you are charging a fee because it is a charity event, or if you have a quest then you need to go to Office #10 and take a look at the information for throwing benefits.

Benefits

Benefits must be held in the form of a ball. FOr this reason you must read all the information in Office #9 about balls. If you think you might be throwing a benefit as opposed to just a ball then read the following guidlines carefully.

Am I Throwing a Benefit?
To answer this question you must answer yes to all the following questions.

1)Am I charging a fee for the Ball?
2)Are the funds for the admission fee for the Ball going to either a quest or charity(which must have a thread)?
3)If the Funds are going to a charity or quest, is the charity or quests more than 10 pages long?
4)If the funds are going to a charity or quest, is the thread older than three weeks?
5)If the funds are going to a charity, has the charity donated to more than 10 questers.
6)If the funds are going to a quest, is the quest at least 10% done.

If you have answered yes to all of these questions then you are indeed throwing a Benefit.
A benefit has all the same rules and questions as a ball. If you are throwing a benefit, You DO NOT have to pay for the event. We will host and give you any features you like for free. The only charge we have is 10% of the total admission fee.

If you are throwing a benefit then pease read all the rules for throwing a ball and fill out that form but add these questions to the form:

Auctions and Quests

That's right. Gain Coordinators, INC. Will host your quest and/or auction. What does this mean? This means we build the thread, banners, and other things you need for your auction or quest. We also will continuously bump your quest or auction till it is over. For both options there is one set price, and no additional features.

Auction
Price: 1000 g
This includes:
~Hosting the thread
~2 Banners
~Regular Bumping

Quest
Price: 1000g which does not need to be paid till at most 2 weeks after the quest is finished or stopped.
This Includes:
~Hosting the Thread
~2 Banners
~Regular Bumping
