My fellow fishermen, collectors, Gaians:
In case you haven't noticed, we are unable to trade almost anything fishing related directly with another user. Fishing items don't show up in your inventory. That means no trading fish, junk items, bait, etc. I think it's time for a change and here's why:
As you can see there are plenty of reasons to trade fishing items. So join me, and someday we may be able to pass the fish!!
Edit: If you want to sign all you have to do is post "I'll sign" or "*signs*" or something else to that effect in this thread. Don't worry about PMing me, I check the thread and update the list daily

For the fish sellers who don't own stores
Right now the only way to get gold for your catches is either to sell them to Logan (who's really cheap) or open a store (which costs gold). Shouldn't there be an alternative? There's a fish market forum, but after you make a deal there's no way to carry it through. Why is it that you can trade clothing amongst yourselves but you can't do the same with fish or bait?
For the fish sellers who do own stores
Has this ever happened to you? You make a deal with a friend giving them a discount for one reason or another, then you put your wares in your store and because they're being sold so cheap someone else swipes them before your friend has a chance? Great, you sold them, but you wanted to give them to someone specific
Also, you only have four spaces for things in your store. What if someone offers you a great deal of gold for some rare fish you're holding, do you really want to go through the trouble of taking something down (possibly an item that already has bidders on it) and putting something else up, especially with the possibility that the person you made the deal with might not actually get the item in the end?
Thirdly, what about items? What if someone is flat broke but has some amazing item that you'd love to wear. Shouldn't they be able to give you clothing or other fish in exchange for your fish?

For the charities and Gaians in need
I believe that if people could donate guppies and junk items to charities they would, I know I would. Wouldn't you rather have fish items, which can be sold to buy things for needy Gaians, than no items? I'd love to donate my tires to the needy. Or give a few guppies to someone working on a hat. I think this kind of this brings Gaians together
For the fish questers
I know some of you have had this problem. You're fishing your way up to some helm and you can't catch anything in the right color. What do you do? With fish trading you could trade your icy tuna for someone else's spicy tuna and everyone comes out a winner
