You read the title bar. JUST because you read all the latest volumes of Gravitation or even watched the entire American version of it or even the bootlegs of it doesn't actually put you in the group known as the "yaoi fandom". Oh sure you may have read others like FAKE, Only the Ring Finger Knows, Desire, Passion, or various other titles that have been released here in the United States.

And besides, there are better Boy's Love then Gravitation. Sure it's a good series for Boy's Love (not shounen ai -- Shuichi is considered an adult.) to start out in the fandom. However, I'm sure the REAL yaoi fans (the ones who don't actually parade it around like a fresh hooker) would say that Gravitation is crap. And they're right. Gravitation is pretty much crap compared to other yaoi, boy's love and shounen ai COMBINED. Even though I like it, I have to admit -- there are many other things that are better then Gravtiation.

And while I'm on the topic of not being a true yaoi fan, most of these fangirls don't even know the REAL meaning of the terms. If you want to know the real meanings of these terms ("yaoi", "shounen ai", and "Boy's Love" wink , visit this wonderful thread.



And now the hypocrisy. You fangirls claim to be for homosexual marriages, but when questioned you simply say "Well, I don't care. I just like to see them kiss and that's HOT." Oh please. Just stop speaking. Homosexuals DO have feelings too. Just like we, women, don't like being protrayed as sluts -- I would think the homosexuals feel the same way.

Then you say "I LYKE YAOI TEE HEE" but if someone says "Well, I like yuri/hetero..." you jump all over their backs like they just sinned against you or something. I personally don't like yuri, but I don't ******** harrass them into oblivion JUST because I don't like them. I actually respect them.


Basically the point is this: If you're a yaoi fan, great. STFU. Gravitation isn't that good anyway. If you're curious on how to be a true fan, appreciate it. Appreciate the fact that it's here and you don't have to steal from the artist.

Edit; About the "true yaoi fans does blah blah blah..." was, indeed, incredibly rude of me. -____-;; -bops own head- So just ignore it or whatever. I don't want to sound like an elitest, and I apologize for that. I realize that people DO have different tastes that differ from my own, and all that jazz. I hope you don't think less of me because of it.

You don't have to like a particular series to be accepted in the fanclub, so to speak. You don't have to like a particular genre of yaoi. You don't have to even like the sex, and just the fluff. I do realize there are some crappy yaoi, just like there are crappy anime. The point I'm basically trying to make is that it'd be best for everyone if you don't parade it around to people that don't really care to hear or don't like it.

Don't feel like I'm a mother hen or whatever. I'm just suggesting. DDD;

Edit: This applies to the anime/manga Loveless now that it reached the fangirls' clutches. In any case, don't post that you like Gravitation or whatever. I DON'T CARE. If you don't have anything to say relevant to the topic, then don't post at all.
