Ever since I started Gaia and saw someone wearing an OMG hat, I've wanted one for my own. Of course, when I first saw it I thought it might take me a few days to save for it, maybe a week or so max. Once I realized its real price, I tried everything I could to convince myself it wasn't worth it.

So far, nothing's worked.

So against my better judgment, I've started a quest. I've made quest threads before, but I usually bump them a couple of times, get bored, then go earn myself the money the hard way. I've never actually received a donation.

I'm not an astounding artist, but I usually keep a stack of paper and a pencil by my computer. If I see a bumper or donator (especially donator wink ) with a cool avatar, I'll draw them!

Potential Splurge Points gonk

Unfortunately, the OMG hat is the most expensive thing I want, not the only thing I want. Here are a few other things I'm tempted to splurge on, although I'm going to try and keep focused:

-A roleplaying GGN guild
-Battle-capable breedable/changeable pets
-Minishop trinkets

I'll try my very best to resist them, though, unless I decide to start a second quest for the guild.

Once gold is converted into letters, it will never be spent on anything other than an OMG.
