Background Story:

This thread began as a simple way to pass time. But the more we stay there, the more we are becoming attached to our little community, which is why I am announcing our plans to become a full fledged guild. We are questing to find a place to chat that is not overrun by spammers, a place where we can easily find out posts and talk to our friends and acquaintances. A place anyone feels free to drop in and talk, without fear of abuse.

But, as you may or may not know, guilds currently cost 20,000g. This is a rather hefty price, and so, being the one who started this madness, I am taking it upon myself to raise money to reach guildom. I will begin by donating 5,000 in order to get this project started. Any donations of any kind are gladly appreciated, and should be directed to my account. I have both a vending license and a trading pass, and promise all donations (whether gold or items) will go straight towards this goal. I am hoping we can get a level of donations that no entry fee will be necessary to join the guild, as I would like it to be a place people can gather, whether they have gold to spare or not.

Until we reach guild status, this will be a functional hangout thread to while away our time spent on gaia, meet people, and, of course, earn gold. Feel free to join the conversation (or start your own here, as the case may be). We don't bite.. well.. most of us, anyways wink New people are awesome

Update: I added another 1K to get things moving. I will continue to add as I am able.
