Welcome to this thread! I made a thread on this manga because currently it's my favorite manga and I just wanted to spread out the goody-ness because it's just THAT good and was looking for others who read it already or those who are willing to read it, so... Discuss! By the way, this thread looks best in 1024x768 or higher resolution, any lower you get something funky lookin but whatever floats your boat. ^^

Parfait Tic is a story about your average lovable Fuuko who is just going to start Highschool. The day before school starts a moving van appears at her apartment building and to her surprise two boys are moving in the apartment above her, Daiya and Ichi Shinpo. Daiya is an outgoing, spiky haired, childish boy and Ichi is a mature, poker faced kinda guy. With these guys in her highschool life adds romance, friendships and heatbreaks.

Parfait Tic is a manga created by Nanaji Nagamu, it has been running since 1999 and is still running being published in the magazine Margaret. Parfait Tic isn't liscensed in America yet. You can find where to read Parfait Tic in the "Where you can find it" section.

Interesting Fact (Well, I think it is): The title "Parfait" is french for "Perfect" and "Tic" is french for "twitch" or can be roughly translated as an facial expression. The reason for thinking it's interesting is because if you ever read the manga, this title fits perfectly with the main Heroine, Fuuko, who is constantly made fun of her wide expressions and how she's not "Perfect".

xd But after reading one of Nanaji Nagamu's random talks, she actually made the Title that "Parfait" is actually French and Tic was to be from the english word "Romantic". Either way works. blaugh

This manga can also be known as "Pafechikku" in Japanese.

I really dispise them! For the short story "By the Lotus Leaves" in the first volume, I was crying while I was drawing the scenes.
Favorite Food: fried pork chops and fried shrimp, etc...any friend stuff. Greasy stuff, meat, desserts, fast food, junk food... in brief, all food is not healthy, it tastes very good.
Favorite color: darker colors
Disliked color: no particular dislikes. However, I feel that bright colors don't fit me.

Nanaji Nagamu works also include Ai Gareba!, Complex Lolita, Mix Juice Mitai, Hare Nochi Hare, and Manatsu no Tamagotachi.

Parfait Tic isn't liscensed in America yet, but it is being scanlated by Mangaproject.cjb.net. If you're impatient like me, Parfait Tic! offers summeries/translations of the latest chapters out in Japan. Parfait-Tic.com offers scans of chapters not yet scanlated by Mangaproject.

If you don't want to download it, Cherry Blossom Magic offers the scanlations where you can view them through Photobucket.

Did you know that there's actually 13 volumes out right now? And like 102 chapters (it's reminding me of Furuba biggrin ). Ah, I wish so much I had access to that.

But since it's also continueing to that far, that means Fuuko isn't giving up her heart so easily!!

hai~^^ that it does--I wish that I did have all those those other chapters but then again, I don't know japanese at all sweatdrop I wonder if anything dregged up from Daiya's past seeing, as they probably aren't going to get together anytime soon...that couldn't last for that many chapter though I hope xd
