ETTIQUETTE.....Xennik

1: At least try to roleplay correctly. If you can't roleplay then try to post correctly, at the least. What I mean is don't substitute "2" for "to"/"two", "U" for "you", "R" for "are"/"our". I mean, come on. Is it really so hard to type two extra letters? Beware. Break this rule and Progolo will make you very sorry.

2: No powerplaying. This means you.

3: Respect your fellow Gaians. Do I really have to explain this one? Honestly. There is no need to flame anyone. If someone is breaking the rules, please PM me (Or one of the other Masters) and we will take care of them. Thank you.

4: No Swearing. Period. Just trust me on this one. You don't want Progolo to lecture you. If you believe you MUST swear, please at least cover it up with ------- or BEEEEEP!! or just swear in chatspeak, but NO foul language will be prohibited, whatsoever.

5: No Killing Other Members. You may not, I repeat, you may NOT kill anyone in this guild. Sparring is allowed (Amongst the Minor Mystivia and up) but killing is strictly forbidden. You are hear to fight the beasts that the Masters will randomly throw at you, not each other. If you kill anyone then you will be banned from this guild. Note: You can kill monsters. And trees, if you must. Just not anyone else.

6: NO Racism. Surprisingly enough, we are all equal human beings here. I will not allow racist remarks in this guild. You will only get two warnings on this one before you are banned.

7: Follow all rules. Or suffer the consequences.

8: You are allowed to roleplay other characters. As long as they are your creation. If you happen to have a breedable, or especially a made-up pet, you are allowed to roleplay with it in this guild, if you have permission from the maker of the pet, and as long as your companion isn't all-mighty powerful. It would probably be easier to just make up a companion of your own.

9: Show Proper Ettiquette. You're in someone else's home. Act like it. Be polite when it's needed of you. Any Out Of Character rude remarks will get you sent to the blacklist.

10: NO Badguys. I mean this. This guild already has badguys, thank you very much. No, you cannot be the badguy, or roleplay your own badguy (Yes, you MAY roleplay that someone is bugging/attacking your character(s), but he may not attack anyone else on a whim, just to prove how wicked he is. Thank you.). This guild isn't a soap opera about your character. Be fair, alright?


Also, for those of you that feel that you need a little help getting a hang of roleplaying, feel free to PM Progolo, and he will give you a tutorial.

<center>~--How To Get Started--~</center>

Okay, so, you've just joined MoJ. But - now what? Everybody is already caught up in their own roleplays, and you don't know how to even get your character into the castle. You can begin roleplaying in many ways;

1.) You can begin the "Standard way", by appearing at the Great Barrier and being led in by a cast NPC or other member. However, this way has it's many difficulties. For one, it may be quite a while before anyone is free to help you. For another, you have to explain what you're doing at the Great Barrier in the first place, and etc.

2.) Many people live in JanniHarrii for shelter and training, and pay for it by helping around the castle (i.e. helping Hanna clean, which would be most likely). You can be one of these people. All you have to do is just START in the castle, and act like you've been there for some time. But, there are things to keep in mind. You HAVE to use proper ettiquette, you'll need to tie into your roleplays HOW you came to JanniHarrii, and, remember that JanniHarrii is a fairly NEW place. It has only been up and running for about a year and a half. It may take a little longer to Rank Up to an Apprentice if you start this way, but, I assure you, this is the better way to start.

This room, filled to the brim with weapons of all types imaginable, is located in the Bearer's tower. No one but the Masters are allowed in this room, and anyone caught snooping around will be punished severly....

Lv. 1 Knife: A small, basic knife.

*Magic Wand: a wand with few magical abilities.

Lv. 1 Whip: a basic whip. Usually no more than five feet in length.

Lv. 1 Wooden Bow and Arrows: A basic wooden bow with plain arrows.

Lv. 1 Boomerang: A wooden boomerang. Can only be equipped with gems and potions.

Dart Chute: A narrow shaft used for shooting darts.

Lv. 1 Slingshot: a plain, wooden slingshot used for firing small stones.

*Lv. 1 Bands: Combined set of two wristbands and a headband. Enables control of certain magical fields. Sometimes comes with a small knife.

<center>The Good</center>

Following Black Cat
Apparently this cat belongs to Master Xennik, or Master Xennik to it, however you may put it. But you will rarely see the two together. Black Cat likes to wander around, finding treasures around JanniHarrii. In fact, if you were to follow this cat, you may very much like what you come upon. However, Black Cat doesn't like crowds, and will only lead one or two persons.

Fairy's Visit
These little fairies hang around JanniHarrii at all times of the year. The best way to win these little critters over is by giving them little sweets. Speak to Master Risa or Gembri about obtaining these, and carry them with you at all times, especially if there has been a recent sighting of these fairies. When fairies are pleased they can be very generous.

Feeding the Gaze Spyder
A very rare creature who, when it devours small orbs, makes a very strong, beautiful thread, that Mystan adores knitting into all manner of cloth. Just find a way to get this thread to her and you could be greatly rewarded.

Adoring Ayeden
Technically, this isn't really an event, since this little gryphon expects to be cuddled at all times, anyway. But there are a few times when he may drop an item he's stolen from one of the Masters....

Finding
Sometimes, when wandering around, you'll randomly come upon an item. Such items (and weapons...?!) could be quite valuable, so keep your eyes peeled and always pay attention to what the Masters are saying. If you don't roleplay finding the item, you don't get it.

Did I Hear Something?!
An odd mental urging to do a strange, sometimes dangerous thing. You can either do what the voice is saying, or report it to the nearest Master.

Gaze Spyders, though very, very useful creatures, are amazingly vicious and strong. These beasts are not afraid to attack anybody when they feel alarmed or threatened, so tread their territories cautiously, because you aren't allowed to kill a Gaze Spyder, they being personal favorites of the Bearer.

Weapon: Majanarian Short Knife
Race: Dwarf
Personality: A round little dwarf who lives to cook. He's red faced and short-tempered and guards his kitchen with tooth and nail. If you are rude to Gembri, he will likely poison your food, or not serve you at all. So be polite to him. Trust me, his cooking is worth it.
Further Description: A stalky, round man, Gembri is careful to shave his beard every morning because, honestly, who wants beard hair in their dinner? He can usually be found wearing a hair net over his short brown hair and waving a spoon at someone who he has just caught passing to closely by the back door of his kitchen.
Reason for being at JanniHarrii: Gembri was an apprentice alongside Xennik, but decided that fighting was below him and his adoration of cooking. After working personally for Mystan for a while, he now is the official cook for the entire population of JanniHarri, however small or large that may be.
Purpose: What else? To feed the hungry souls of JanniHarrii.

Weapon: Hookshot Gauntlet
Race: A wolfish-human-type...thing.
Personality: Shraik has no last name, no known home, and no known family. He trusts no one but Mystan and Xennik. His ears are pointed and he has fangs and alert, ready eyes beneath a forehead with three differently shaped forehead gems. His body is covered with scars and his spiky brown hair is almost always a mess. He is more often mistaken as a dog, than a...whatever he is, because of his wild, blood-thirsty attitude. Few have ever laid eyes this strange creature, let alone met him face to face. He only communicates with Xennik, whom he practically worships.
Further Description: It is said that Shraik was once bribed to kill Xennik, but failed. In his defeat, he attempted to commit suicide, but Xennik saved him. Shraik then began to completely worship him and follow him around like a dog. Others say that Xennik hypnotized him so severly that he became spellbound.
Reason For Being at JanniHarrii: Shraik followed Xennik to JanniHarrii in a crazed daze and refused to leave. After a long discussion, the Bearer (May she live well and healthy *salute* ) decided to employ this intriguing ruffian.
Purpose: Shraik is known as the Gate Guard. He guards the Great Barrier and prevents attacks (as much as he can). He can also notify the hosts if anyone is coming, enemy or not.

Weapon: Weilds a mean broom. O.o;
Race: Human
Personality: A jolly older woman with graying hair that she keeps in a bob at her jawline. She's a bit stocky, and her joints ache from time to time, but she is still spry! She doesn't take guff from anybody, and isn't afraid to chase people out if they become an annoyance.
Further Description: She takes great pride in making the bath house a place of rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation. Keeping the towels clean and fluffy, making the bath oils and soaps herself, and keeping the baths themselves clean is a full time job. But she also keeps the magics that heat the water running, too. How she finishes all her tasks is a wonder, but she's always willing to accept help.
Reason for being at JanniHarii: She came to JanniHarii a long time ago to attempt to join the ranks of the Mystivians. But she found she wasn't as interested in magics as she thought she was, but had come to love the castle, so she stayed, making herself useful in the bath house.
Purpose: If it isn't obvious, she's the attendant of the Baths.

Personality: Viada Lynn is an odd girl, who was found unconscious outside of the Great Barrier by Shraik. She likes peace and quiet, but, oddly, adores the Masters, and follows them everywhere they go (Poor Progolo). She can't remember anything about her past and looks to the Masters for answers that they can't give her.
Further Description: Viada is believed to be human, about 18 years old, with short blonde hair and bright green eyes. She has a feminine figure and likes to use it to her advantage. She can often be found flirting with the (male) Masters, particularly Jim and Progolo.
Reason For Being at JanniHarrii: She has nowhere else to go.
Purpose: ..........

Personality: As are all of the hunters, Kyl is fun-loving and energetic. He is also known for his love of...gore. Which might be where he got his name.
Further Description: Kyl's...well, a wolf. A little slobbery, a little hairy...kinda bloody, depending on when you stumble upon him. He also serves as a sort of ambassador with Shraik, who has deemed the telepathic wolf "Doggy".
Reason For Being at JanniHarrii: He is one of the five hunters that travel in a clan called The Hunters. Their chief responsibility is to provide meat for JanniHarrii. They live in a camp in the forest outside of the Great Barrier, as nothing within the walls seems to stay dead for long.

Further Description: Allaan looks a lot like your average hunter; bow and quiver, knife, leather, and goatee. His light brown eyes are always twinkling with laughter, unless, of course, he's on the job. Then he becomes serious, impossible to distract, and down-right dangerous.

Personality: To put it in a few words; aggressive, commanding, and domineering. She is the last hunter you want to meet.
Further Description: Upon first sight, Harpy is quite an attractive bird-woman. Hopefully that's all you ever see of her. Harpy is, though her looks may suggest otherwise, mean to the core. Her masculinity is extremely appalling and intimidating to anyone who meets her. She rules over the other hunters with an iron fist (talon?).
Reason For Being at JanniHarrii: She is the uncontested leader of the five hunters that travel in a clan called The Hunters. Their chief responsibility is to provide meat for JanniHarrii. They live in a camp in the forest outside of the Great Barrier, as nothing within the walls seems to stay dead for long.
Purpose: To keep the other hunters in check. And to take care of what the other hunters are too squeemish to do.

Personality: Vague, aloof, and a little klutzy, this phantom of a man is a very uncommon sight. He appears whenever he seems to want to. He never tells anyone his name. Whenever he visits, he leaves behind him a weapon, item, or odd premonition, some of which end up being true. Who is he?
Further Description: This man can always be seen wearing a huge, long trench coat and thick scarf, both of which look suspiciously like they once belonged to Progolo. He wears a bandana wrapped around his hair, and a wide-rimmed hat over that. How he can possibly see is a mystery to all, for he rarely appears in the daytime and always wears a pair of shades. His thick, scruffy brown hair falls to his shoulders, matching the much-shorter mustache on his upper lip.
Reason For Being At JanniHarrii: Good question....
Purpose: ?????? O.O

Empty Rooms: Well, they're just that; empty rooms. These rooms are everywhere, all over JanniHarri, and safe to explore. Well, most of them...

Guest Quarters: Once empty rooms that have been claimed by guests and furnished to suit their taste. Obviously, you can't enter these rooms unless invited, and all can be locked by key and charm.

Gembri's Kitchen: Enter with caution. And a sturdy helmet. Gembri is very protective of his sanctuary. In fact, it is rumored that he eats, sleeps, and lives in his kitchen, guarding his hoard of rare spices. There is an ordeing window carved into the wall between the kitchen and the dining room where you can order your food, instead of having to go into his sanctuary and invoke Gembri's wrath.

Dining Room: This long, rectangular room is full of three long tables and countless chairs. There are tapestries hanging on the walls, chandelieres bathing the pleasant room in light, and even a large, comfy fireplace. This is where you eat Gembri's delicacies after you've conquered the quest of getting them. You can also play table-top games and just sit and visit in this merry, inviting room.

Mystan's Tower: Coming here will get you several different results, depending on who you bump into. If you were unfortunate enough to be caught be Xennik, he'd probably strip you of your rank and treat you like a captured terrorist. Progolo would most likely shoo you away with a warning, Risa would gently prod, and Jim.....Oh, gosh, who knows what Jim would do to you... 0.o. Well, don't get caught and Don't enter any other rooms but the one at the top of the tower. Just trust me on this one. If you manage, however, to make it all the way to Mystan....

Xennik's Tower: Only the bravest, stupidist of people would willingly venture into Xennik's frigid tower. His is one of the only places in the whole of JanniHarri that is cooled by an electric air conditioner. More like a refridgerator, this tower may be a danger to you well-being. Ice covers the steps and icicles hang from the ceiling. You may even stumble across a grotesque collection of frozen roestiik. Much like Xennik himself, this tower is quite unpleasant.

Progolo's Tower: Good luck getting into this tower. As you may already know, Progolo is just a little paranoid. If you do happen to get passed the door, you may stumble across a booby trap or two. And then when you managed to get to the top, you'd just scare Progolo out of his wits, and then he'd never trust you again. So tell me, is it really worth it?

Jim's Tower: I wouldn't advise going in here, either. Let's just leave it at that.

Risa's Tower: Much friendlier than the others, Risa may actually meet you at the door and invite you in. It is considerably more cheerful than Xennik's or Progolo's, I can tell you. But I wouldn't break in uninvited, if I were you.... O.O

Weight Room: A room full of weights and excersizing equipment. Anyone is invited in this room at all times, if they are careful with the equipment.

Padded Rooms: A couple of rooms in which the floor, walls, and ceiling are covered in padding. A greatly recommended place to practice. In two of the five Padded Rooms, there are punching bags and obstacles to train on that automatically fix themselves when destroyed.

Shraik's Hut: If you happen to stumble upon this place, I'd suggest you turn around and walk away, especially if Shraik is home. He's a messed up man.

West Fields: Tall grass and a few trees, this is a great place to train, if you don't mind being attacked by roestiik constantly. Also a great place to relax, safe in the knowledge that you are protected (except from roestiik) by Progolo, who watches this field from his tower, just in case.

The Dungeons: Just that. Dungeons. There is no exploring these dungeons, however. They were flooded some time ago and are almost inaccessable.

The Gardens: <A description WILL go here in the future. I promise!>

Unreality Rooms: You enter what you thought was a normal, empty room, when, suddenly, out of the blue, you are attacked! Your foe does not speak, does not care to reason with you, and continuously pounds on you. Finally, after a long, exhausting fight, you win. And then everything disappears and you're all alone in an empty room......

There are very few unreality rooms, and, as it is possible to be trapped in them, they are always locked. You must get permission from a Master to enter Unreality Rooms, and their must be at least one other person there with you, just in case...

Element Chambers: Rooms based on the elements light, dark, spirit, ice, water, fire, electricity, earth, plant. These rooms are mainly for meditating, though you can easilly do some heavy-duty training without damaging anything. These rooms seem almost to be indestructable and never seem to end unless you go out the door. Don't lose sight of it.

Okay, people, listen up! I'm sick to death of everyone being so confused and not being able to find their way around. However, due to scanner malfunctions, I can't put up a map. So I'm going to put up a basic guide as to what's on which floors.

Basement: Flooded Dungeons and Torture Chambers

Floor one: The entrance hall, dining room, guest quarters, kitchen, restrooms (obviously :B ), empty rooms, sitting rooms, doors to the gardens, ballroom.

Floor Two: Guest quarters, bath house and restrooms, empty rooms, secret passages, linen closet, Hanna's suite

Floor three: Weight rooms, padded rooms, restrooms, target practice rooms, training rooms, secret passages

Floor Four: storage rooms, empty rooms, element chambers, unreality rooms, entrances to most towers.

RANK DESCRIPTIONS....Xennik
Rank1= Guest: Everyone that joins starts as a guest. Guest is the lowest rank there is, besides prisoner. A guest has no weapons, no items, and is pretty much only here to chat. After a while (If we find that your RPing skills have improved, or are already good) a Master Mystivian will apprentice you. Note: if you do not post well, you will not Rank Up. And you can only be "Ranked Up" by a Master Mystivian.

Rank2= Apprentice: When a Master Mystivian apprentices you, you will recieve your Lv. 1, or apprentice, weapon. Now that you have a weapon, you will need to practice using it. That is your job as an apprentice, learning to spar, or fight, with your Lv.1 weapon. Remember: the weapon you will receive will be chosen according to the way you act as a student. It can be anything.

Rank3= Seekor/Questor: Once you are fairly good at sparring and using your weapon, your Master will give you a quest, thus making you become a Seekor, or Questor. When you become a Seekor/Questor, your Master will set up a new thread in Barton Town. Here, only your Master, you, and myself can post. In the thread, your Master, whoever it may be, will guide you through your quest by explaining the scenery and roleplaying as beasts that you will have to defeat. The thread will usually be entitled "<Insert name>'s Quest for the <Insert Item>". This is where your weapon will get its biggest upgrade. Your quest will be for an item. These items will, in some way, go with your weapon. After you have completed your quest, I will post, upgrading your weapon to Lv. 2. Now, all there is left to do is Rank Up.

<center>~--Beasts and Other Creatures--~</center>


Beasts.....Xennik

This is a list of creatures that you may come across during your adventures in JanniHarrii. Oddly enough, when ever thaey are defeated, they disappear, fade away, never to be seen again, leaving no trace of blood or gore behind.

Girri: <img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v209/XennikAlmighty/Mojstuff2.png" align="left">
A girri is a small creature(about one foot in height). They are usually found a little ways away from JanniHarrii, though they do sneak in every now and then. They have the basic shape of a dog, but it isn't easy to mistake them as one. Why? Because, One; they are vicious and sometimes abnormally smart. And Two; they make their bodies out of whichever element they like, as long as they touch it. If you were to shoot fire at one, chances are that it would just make itself into a fire-dog-like beast and try to eat you. Very unpleasant. But, with the right training, an apprentice could defeat these with semi-ease.





<image pending> Roestiik: rat-like creatures with knives at the end of their tails. These beasts of burden are very common. Though they like to attack out of the blue, a kick in the face will send them back down the hall. About 6" in height and 1' 6" in length. They are sometimes seen covered with armor, and therefore hard to defeat.


Gaze Spyder:

The Gaze Spyder is a rare find. They prefer dark, average temperatured places to spin their enormous webs. If allowed, they could take over an entire corridor with their huge webs. They spin a very odd, rare silk that Master Mystan (May she live well and healthy *salute*) loves to make stuff out of. Because she loves their silk, Gaze Spyders are protected and anyone caught killing one is severely punished. Gaze Spyders, though their silk is elegant, can be quite ferocious. They are about one foot in height, with an eye on their backs that will open if they feel threatened. This eye will hypnotize anyone that looks into it. Once you no longer have control of your limbs, the gaze spyder will bite you with its very poisonous fangs, paralyze you, and either attempt to eat you or just abandon your paralyzed body. The paralysis takes days to wear off, if not treated. So tread with caution.


Triacrys: Triacrys are like enormous hawks, only worse. To them, you are the prey and they the predator. If you carry any shiny object on you, you are more likely to be attacked by this three-eyed, four-winged beast. They love anything shiny and seem obsessed with people's hair.... o.0 A Minor Mystivian would have trouble defeating these creatures. Luckily, they are not very common and usually only appear around summer.

Character Description: Old, ugly, and has an unsensible adoration for heat. Mystan is believed to be over one hundred years old, and she shows it. Her left eye was said to have been lost in a one-on-one battle with the devil. That is highly unlikely, though no one knows for sure, as she always covers what remains of that eye with an eye patch. Mystan is slumped, shriveled, and hunched with age, and wears layers and layers of rags, as if trying to hide the large and very noticable hump on her back, and is never seen without a hood and bandana covering her near-bald head. Yet an odd, consuming power still radiates from her age-frailed body...

Personality: Though she seems reclusive and anti-social, Mystan is actually very much the opposite. She loves talking in her hoarse, scratchy voice whenever she isn't having one of her coughing fits, and is even known to giggle at a good joke. She likes, especially, to pass her time teasing Xennik, knitting, or joking around with the other Masters, when she isn't gazing into her fire or Seer's crystal and giving orders.

Talents/Skills: Mystan is unable to even stand, let alone walk or run, in fact, people wonder if she even still has legs. She spends most of her time sitting in a comfy wheelchair (which is so heavy that only Xennik can push it), and bathing in the heat of her roaring fire. However, she still has her talents and skills. She loves to knit more than anything in the world, and can always be found knitting one thing or the other. She also enjoys chess, most board games, eating Gembri's cooking, and rewarding people with enchanted garments that she knits from the Gaze Spyder's silk.

Character Description: It is said that Xennik was born as a child from the heart of a snow man, created by a person that had suffered a great loss. Well, wherever he came from, it was a cold place, and, luckily for him, so is JanniHarri. It is easy to tell, from the moment you meet him, that Xennik is not human. His ears are long and end in two tips, and with his deathly pale skin and icy, peircing eyes, he can be quite intimidating. His shoulder-length hair is ebony black, though sometimes it appears navy blue, and usually pulled back into a short ponytail. Wispy ice-blue wings fall limply off his back, seeming to be unreal, as they disappear, leaving only cold air behind, whenever they are touched. He wears a single ice-shard earring in his left ear, and usually wears high-collared, long-sleeved shirts and cloaks or robes in black, blue, silver, purple, or gray hues. Though cold and blunt, Master Xennik is very handsome in his own mysterious, cold way.

Personality: Xennik usually prefers to be alone, hiding from the heat in his tower whenever he's not been summoned by Mystan. However, being the Bearer's 2nd, he must attend any meetings or social occasions that JanniHarrii has to offer, so he is seen quite alot more than he would like. Xennik is very untrusting, hard to get close to, and enjoys nothing more than having people fear him, for his own twisted reasons. He also has an incredibly bad temper. When he snaps, all **** lets loose, and he is hard to get back on your side, being known to hold grudges. He is a powerful offensive fighter, using both brute strength and strategy. But, despite his cold and sometimes cruel ways, he can be quite charming, when he chooses to be.

Weapon: Tkin Blades -- two fan-like blades that can be opened and closed like...fans, each inlaid with a blue sapphire in an odd design. He can throw them like shruikens, shoot a beam of cold magic out of the end of them, when closed, and can fan himself off with them when he gets hot.

  • Ring of Recall -- Allows Xennik to call things that he's touched before back to him.

Race: Human (Summoner)

Description: About 6'5" in height, Progolo is a powerfully built man with unusually pale skin. His solemn eyes are a cloudy gray, and his narrow face is framed by long raven-black hair, which is occasionally pulled back or braided. What appear to be narrow blue scars are present beneath and around his eyes, which sometimes glitter like fish scales in the light. He usually wears thick, warm clothing that is drab in color.

Personality: Progolo is very mellow by nature. He rarely becomes impatient or angry, but he will not hesitate to chasten anyone who is unjust in their words or actions. He prefers to play defensive both in combat and many other aspects of his life. Though he is kind, he may sometimes prove difficult to get close to, as he is quite paranoid. Fortunately, he may finally be growing out of his wary additude. Over all, he gives the impression of a very serious man, though he has been known to smile and laugh on occasion--if he's thouroughly convinced you aren't out to kill him. To many who know him fairly well, he may actually seem like a softie. Tread cautiously, however; those who threaten him or his loved ones tend to disappear...

Skills/Talents: Along with being skilled with both small knives and gigantic blades, Progolo also possesses the ability to Summon...but what he can summon is hard to say. Though it isn't as much of a skill as it is a strange occurence, the scale-like markings around his eyes tend to glow when Progolo grows suspicious, violent, or fearful. His talents include whittling, song-writing, and a certain knack for taming wild creatures.


Weapon: Blade of Soul; an eleven-inch doubkle-bladed knife. When held at the right angle, curvy designs are visible in the blade near the hilt. Abilities- Somehow, it can greatly increase in size and width, becoming either a dueling sword or a broadsword, depending on Progolo's wishes. Whether this is a power of Progolo's, the knife itself, or some other device, however, is unknown.

Items:

  • Seers Orb #2: A very large crystal orb set into the wall of the west tower. It is dark blue, and it gives the impression of a slowly churning sea. Abilities- allows Master Progolo to contact the other masters via their own Seers orbs, track guests, and keep an eye on the castle.
  • Blush Pendant: A pendant set with a creamy, pinkish jewel. Abilities- unrevealed.
  • Moonlit Guardian Robe: A dark blue robe decorated with luminous stars and crescent moons. Abilities- Reflects most spells, and also works as a form of magical armor against physical attacks.
  • Silver Collar: A tight collar, decorated with intricate silver designs. Abilities- unrevealed.
  • Gauntlets of Turik: A pair of rather worn brown gauntlets. Abilities- gives Progolo wrists and arms extra strength; used especially when wielding larger blades.
  • Feather Amulet: A pale green feather, taken from Ayeden's right wing and enhanced with some kind of spell. Abilities- Allows Progolo to create an empathetic bond with Ayeden.

Description: Jim's heritage is quite clear to anyone who looks. Though slimmer then most humans, he is hardly as thin as an elf. His ears curl up at the tips, though this is often hard to see beneath the huge red brimmed hat he almost always wears. His hair is cut short, and often messy, and his greenish-blue eyes are sharp and quick to spot any movement around him.
He prefers casual, simple clothes to exotic robes, both for style, and mobilty. He often wears a many pocketed vest, with loose pants and supple leather boots. Apart from these, he ALWAYS wears a glove on his left hand. This enchanted glove both covers, and acts as the two fingers he is missing off that hand. He does not talk about how he lost them.

Personality: Openly, Jimmy is a very laid back individual. He prefers to be open with the truth of matters, and does not like using flowery speech to cover up nasty facts. Jim is quick to laugh or joke, and is known for the occaisional prank. He takes his job very seriously though, for he does not want "to send out a bunch of untrained mages, who are very likely to blow themselves up, and generaly endanger other people around them. Like me." He believes in practical learning over theory, and is more likely to act then think. This doesn't mean that he doesn't have a back-up plan or three, but he often speaks before he considers what he's saying.

Skills/Talents: Through most of his life, Jim's main focus has been on the Arcane Art of Magic. He has also dabbled in several other magical arts. These other arts include necromancy, divination, shamanism, spellsword-craft, and witchcraft. He is constantly on the look out to learn new things to add, though he rarely practices them for long.
Jimmy is also quite good at sleight of hand, and has picked more then a few pockets in his time. He enjoys relieving students of small objects that they are not supposed to have.



Weapon: Dragoon Tool/Lance. This belonged to his human half-brother, who is now long dead. (Imagine a blue Swiss Army Spear. It can contract into to a pole, but no less then 2 feet long)


Items:

  • Glove of Man: Normally these come in pairs, but Jim only owns one, the left glove. When worn, it acts as his missing pinky and ring finger, so he can use that hand with no problems. He almost never takes this off.

  • Amulet of Warning: This silver pendant extends Jim's awareness a fraction of a second into the future, allowing him to react more easily to danger. (Be it rampaging creatures, or a student's spell gone awry.)

  • Belt of Projection: When worn, this ring allows Jimmy to see things as though he was in a slightly different position, up to ten feet away and around corners and such, as long as there is an uninterupted line of connection. (Sorry would-be peeper. Does't let you see through girl's dorm walls) Most people can use it, but find the experience very disorienting if the move at all.

  • Spoon of Smiting: One of Jimmy's odder items, the spoon is also one of his more potent item. The spoon is nearly two feet in length, including handle, and made of a dull silvery metal. The first giveaway that this item is magical, is the dim blue glow that surrounds it, although it is hard to see in lighted places. As far as anyone has ever been able to tell, the spoon is nearly indestructable. It is even stable enough to deflect magic, if used properly. Jim ussually keeps it on him at all time, hanging from his belt.

  • Ring of Jump: The ring can bestow on Jim the ability to jump incredible distances, and land safetly from such jump. The charge only last for an hour, although it can be split into several shorter uses throughout the day.

  • Dagger of Detection: This weapon is scratched and worn, making it almost useless in combat. But it carries some potent magic. If you balance this dagger on you palm. (Blade pointed away) and speak a single word, the dagger will spin, and point towards the nearest such thing. This does not work for people's names, or specific places, but can be used to deduce such (for example, you could say 'mountain', but not 'Africa', or 'Jack.' any such attempts always fail.)

  • Ring of The Clear Mind: This ring makes Jimmy completely protected from anything that would read his mind, such a telepathy, or similar spells. Unfortunatly, he is unable to use such magics himself for as long as he wears the ring, and he cannot recieve mental message from others. It glows warmly when anyone tries.

  • Bracers of Thunder: These armlets allow Jim to encompass his hands, or any metal weapon he wields, in electricity. He is unharmed by this electricity, and can call or dismiss it at a moments notice.

  • Scarab of Stone: This simply carved beetle can be clasped onto a clock or cape. As long as it is clasped on, the cloak will become as hard as stone on the outside, offering a great deal of protection.

  • Coat of Many Pocket: At first this object seems like a plain old winter coat, covered in a variety of pockets. It doesn't actively project any magic aura, and appears almost tattered.
    What most people don't know is that the coat is actually a major sentient artifact. It has bonded itself to James as a baby duck would, and only works for him at the moment. It can communicate to him through an empathic link, as long as he is wearing or touching it.
    The greatest ability of this coat, is to provide Jim with what he needs. He first discovered this power when he was caught outside during a brutal winter, and wished that he had a lighter. Strangely, he found one in a pocket that he was sure was empty a moment ago.
    The coat can not create objects and larger than would fit in the pockets, nor can it create complex magic item, or expensive things like magic rings or jewels. The coat does not like being taken lightly though, or being overused. It can choose whether or not to try and give Jimmy an item, depending how he has treated it. More then once hes reached in a pocket, and found something pointy or painful
    In addition to creating, it can also also store small items for him, keeping them out of the way, then bringing them to whatever pocket he reaches into.
    Also, being a winter coat, it is quite uncomfortable to wear in warm weather, so Jim often goes without it.

Very petite and slender, she's not all that strong physically. She has long, slightly wavy hair that reaches to mid-back, which she usually wears partially up. It seems to not be able to decide on a color, as the strands range in hue from dark brown to red to a light chestnut color. Overall, it comes across as a dark auburn. Almond-shaped, green-brown hazel eyes, and a wide mouth that is generally turned up in smile. She prefers loose, flowing clothes, and likes silks and linens.

Personality:

Though she's actually one of the younger Masters, she has a mothering nature. She tends to try and take care of everyone around her, which makes her sometimes come across as busy body or a mother hen. She is gentle and kind, with a very active sense of humor, though she's not good at improvisation at all. She is willing to give everyone a chance... and if she thinks an offender is sincere, a second chance. She is slow to anger, unless someone she loves is threatened, and once she crosses that point, she becomes a force of nature.

Talents/Skills:

She has a talent for singing and simple instruments, but she really loves to weave. She has very keen eyesight, and her manual dexterity makes her a great shot with thrown weapons. She has a small empathic gift, and excels in spells of fire and wind, though she can cast other types.


Weapon:

A set of five throwing knives, sheathed in a sash that is worn like a bandoleer. Each knife has a different enchantment on it.
1 - set with a diamond, it always returns to the thrower.
2 - set with an emerald, it has a magical poison.
3 - set with an opal, it homes in on its target and will avoid obstacles to hit it.
4 - set with a sapphire, it has a distortion effect that makes it appear in a slightly different place than it actually is.
5 - set with a ruby, it causes a wound that won't heal naturally, and gets worse the longer it is left untreated.

Items:

  • Pendant of the Sun - A large chacobon carnelian set into a gold sun-in-glory, with a gold chain. Casts fireball once a day, light at will, and keeps her at a comfortable temperature when dealing with extremes of cold.

  • Sandals of the Anemoi - A pair of sandals with wings embossed into the leather. Makes the wearer faster and able to jump farther.

  • Provender Ring - A simple metal ring with an round amber stone set in the top. Allows Risa to go without eating and drinking, and cuts down on her need for sleep. She doesn't wear it except when she's working on a project, and it must be worn for several days before the effects start to be noticable. She enjoys food too much to wear it all the time.

  • Cloak of Etherealness - An unremarkable looking mottled gray cloak with a deep hood. Once per day, Risa can activate the cloak to become as solid (or not) as a ghost. It only lasts for a short time, but the time can be broken up into smaller portions.

  • Staff of Storing - An ironwood staff set with three delicate crystals. Each crystal can hold one spell indefinitely, and when used, must be recharged. Not for hitting people with, as it would disrupt the crystals.

  • Belt of Mirrors - A belt made of highly polished metal scales, attached to a flexible chain. Minor spell sheilding, and can cast mirror image spell once per day.

  • Conch of Clairvoyance - A gleaming white conch shell that sits on a table in her tower. When held to the ear, the listener can hear conversations from far away as if they were there, as long as the conversations are not masked by noise or spell.

  • Beads of Recall - Risa can be rather protective of her students, and as such, keeps this item just in case. It is a gold chain that has several beads strung onto it, made of silver. Each bead can be attuned to one of her students, and in the event of a dire emergency, can be used to teleport them to her immediately. The bead is ruined after use, and a new one must be cast and attuned. Thankfully, Risa has not had cause to use this item as of yet. She will only use it when there is no other option.

Where was _______ again? I'm so lost!

Sadly, it seems that we all are. Right now, I'm working on a map of JanniHarrii, so perhaps that will help with our confusion.

Why can't I be a Master?!

You must qualify to be a Master. Which, I'm sorry to say, will take a long time. Chances of becoming a Master are very slim, so don't put your hopes on it.

Why do I have to start as a Guest?

Because I am in charge and say that you must. If you are against starting small and working your way up, than, please, don't join this guild.

Can I, like, be the bad guy kind of dude? You know, everyone has to fight me, no one can defeat me, and it ends up that I was possessed the whole time and am really innocent?

Erm...no. This is a guided roleplay. You HAVE TO STICK TO THE STORYLINE. If this is too hard for you, then don't join this guild.
