Shiran's Stats

Name: Shiran Kamikun Traverse
Nicknames: Ran, Kami, Pup
Hair: Fur is dark gray with light gray and black markings; hair is dark blue
Eyes: Pale gray
Identifying marks: A gray tattoo-like mark on his left forearm, and three gray stripes across his back. One gray-tipped ear, a gray muzzle and underbelly, gray left hind-paw and a black-tipped tail. Also, a red ankle band around his left ankle.
Status: Werewolf (risen demon?)
Likes: Running, hunting, not being sick, Yumoa, his new family.
Dislikes: Being called a freak or insulted, scary humans, angry mages (long story in that one), disappointing his big sister.
Is currently: Trying to find a way to convince Yumoa humans aren't bad - and wondering why Rune won't help him.

Shiran's New Family

Race: Human (Slider / Mage, part unknown)

Magicks: Use of the Water, Mind, and Mind2 Illuzen elements; a set of abilities nicknamed 'Fey power' which she very rarely uses.
Rune Traverse:

A Slider from the world of Illuzen, Rune came to Gaia originally to get away from the people constantly comparing her to her more famous Slider kin. Loyal to a fault and mostly dependable, she has inherited her family's knack for 'adopting' people as well as their fierce nobility and protection of the innocent. Of course, this doesn't mean she can't be braindead, idiotic, or downright mean on occasion - much to her own dismay, she has quite a temper and tends to yell / magically break things when she gets angry. Currently, Rune lives in a Gaian home temporally synced with several dimensions, in a mixed family of several 'sisters,' a multitude of children, and various pets. She's going through a rather tough time at the moment, something that makes Shiran more than a little worried.

About Morgan:

From a different universe than Rune, Morgan spent her early life as the adopted daughter of a Daemon clan. At the age of eight, she lost her abilities and became 'psychic food' until a random accident at twenty helped her to regain her powers. With a quick wit and a mouth to match, she loves traveling to new places, and met Rune on one of her frequent 'adventures.' Her best friend is a shapeshifter, and she usually calls Shiran 'Pup.'

About Allie:

Not a whole lot is known for certain about Allie, although she, Rune, Thrall and Shiloh became good friends when they got caught up in a random demon's plottings. Shy, intelligent and rather quiet, she has an acidic tongue if made angry or if her loved ones are threatened. At the moment, she's been taking care of Shiran and the rest of the kids.

About Shiloh:

A Summoner Aluai - that is, a summoner (mage) who has been trained in all killing arts - Shiloh is basically an assassin for hire, part of a group who lives in Sierre Rafel. Cool, calm and generally confident on the outside, those that know her well, have seen that she has an intensely loyal, caring personality on the inside. Shiran is rather in awe of her ability to hunt, especially since she is a human.

About Dray:

Shiran's oldest sister, Dray is incredibly outgoing and loves flying as well as learning fighting and weapons. Intuitive, but not necessarily quiet, she sometimes blurts out things most people wouldn't even have noticed. She also loves trying to cook, something that drives Rune crazy. *we're still hosing down the kitchen from her 'Mass birthday cake' fiasco* Shiran likes her because she can fly.

About Shazran and Nikki:

The other two original Konokai Rune adopted when she founded the Center, Shazran and Nikki are either complete opposites or in total agreement. Both are quiet, especially around people they don't know, but for different reasons; Shazran just doesn't have much to say, while Nikki is intensely shy and self-conscious. Shiran is training with Shazran - boy, if that isn't a mouthful - and he likes the fact that Nikki still trusts people, no matter what she's been through.

Race: Konokai (Clown, angelic / eagle anthro mix)
Magicks: Illusions and shadow manipulation; flight and light manipulation.
About Cody and Aeris:

A pair of Konokai Rune adopted after she founded the center, Cody and Aeris are similarly wild, flighty, and generally very excited about the world. Shiran respects Cody's prank-pulling ability - partly because he'd never, ever do these things himself - though he's a bit jealous of Raven's close relationship to him. Aeris, he adores, because she's one of the two who saved him from the scientists and brought him to Rune.

About Alter:

Another of Rune's adopted daughters, Alter loves to read and can usually be found with her nose buried in a book. One of the few things that can draw her out of them is the smell of freshly baked brownies - or a family member in need of help. She also has an insane soft spot for kittens, flowers, butterflies and small children.

About Kairnai:

The first daughter Rune adopted without ties to Illuzen, Kairnai's name means 'flight.' Only a few inches tall, she loves to zoom around and play, especially with Apple the chipmunk since they're roughly the same size. She is also fond of a small, diamond-shaped pendant around her neck, which has been imbued with magic to allow her to grow to the size of a normal child.

About Tex:

"Tex" as he's nicknamed, is the youngest of the three Banir Kinder, adopted recently as a Secret Santa present. *glomps Jeane* In any case, he's rather wild and loud, and he loves chasing his brothers and playing with the littler kids. He's gotten Shiran to play out in the sun and practice his hunting skills, something he enjoys.

About Aura and Cayanne:

Almost complete opposites, Aura and Cayanne are twins and have a very deep bond. Aura - a Willow Leafling - is rather quiet, and she loves all sorts of creative things, especially drawing. Cayanne, on the other hand, is willful, rambunctious, and generally a wild child. Although he hangs out with Aura when he's sick or tired, he and Cayanne have gotten along exceedingly well, and she often helps Tex in dragging him out into the sunshine.

A mix of shy and tough, this little one is usually found following Raven around, and Shiran considers her very much Raven's "cub." Although she's often quiet, she has no problem proving she's as tough as any of her siblings, no matter what the game.

About Mirelle and Kirika:

Two of Rune's four youngest children, Mirelle and Kirika have just turned into children, but they've been Shiran's favorites since they were only pendants. Concerned that they didn't have magic and wouldn't be able to defend themselves, he actually went and found several old spellbooks and taught them incantations. Now that they're kids, they adore him, and have actually gone and dressed up as wolves to make him feel better about his first pack.

Race: Konokai (altered, Clown)
Magicks: Currently, enhanced reflexes, language skills and perfect aim.
About Chloe and Rose:

Although there is a very LONG story explaining how and why Chloe and Rose were born, the upshot of it is that the two of them were based on important people in Kirika and Mirelle's past lives. Both are redheads, though Rose looks more brunette or auburn; Chloe's eyes are gray, while Rose's are gray-green with a gold ring around the pupils. Like Mirai and Kiri, they've spent a lot of their life with Shiran, and were in on the plot to dress up as werewolves to make him happier.

Shiran's First Pack

This is a list of Shiran's first pack members, at least as much as the family knows.

Yumoa:

The Alpha female, in all senses of the word. The first member of the pack Shiran found, and the one he nearly escaped with, so someone he'd rather die than disappoint. Unfortunately, she hates humans, and Rune with a vengance after "taking Shiran away" as well as making friends with Tsuche. After a disasterous arguement with her over her hatred of humans, Shiran had a very stern talk with Rune and has since backed off a bit; they then had a frightening fight with a fellow werewolf, and Yumoa was hurt. Fortunately, Rune healed her, and the two then had a wonderful time in the kiddy pool with Lin, Raven, Onii and Tex. Shiran's currently wondering if perhaps Yumoa might be softening a bit towards humans in general, if not Rune in particular.

Marfa:

A little older than the rest of his pack, Marfa is a happy-go-lucky sort that Raven's actually met and played with, though it was before Shiran escaped. Shiran actually got to meet with his sister for the first time recently, and was pleasantly surprised that she didn't seem to have Yumoa's problem with humans. Definitely strengthened his own decisions.

Reeve:

A sweetheart of a male, he's currently being given to a new guardian. Shiran looks forward to meeting this little one again . . . of course, Rune hasn't told him she's thinking about asking Arafel to be HIS guardian, too.

Tsuche:

Other than his name, Shiran didn't remember very much about this older male until he showed up at the Center. After a rather rocky start - Shiran was jealous of Yumoa's affection for Tsuche and worried about the alpha's hatred for humans, the two males nearly had a power fight until Tex interrupted - Shiran has discovered a lot about the brother he barely knew. Smart, canny and articulate, this little pup is a wonderful alpha, and basically a wonderful guy, though extremely confused about humans and apparently starved for affection. Shiran adores him, and would do just about anything to take care of his older brother. In this case, Rune, Tex, Raven and Lin have also gotten involved, and all of them have made their own decisions about Tsuche, most of them sweet and all protective.

others . . . ?

At the moment, there's some speculation as to whether or not there's another member of the old pack, though no one is quite sure at this point. More on this as the family learns more.

Friends of Shiran

Shiran's friends within the RP realm. Not all of them will be Banir, although most will.

Acrasia and Nell: Although they're more Raven and Tex's friends than his, Shiran enjoys his 'cousins' and the time they spend together. He believes Acrasia's loyalty to Raven is one of the best things about her, and worthy of more than a little respect.

Artemis: Although he hasn't seen the vampire boy in quite a while, Shiran was on his way to being good friends with him before they lost contact.

Onii: Yumoa's 'big' sister in Tenshi's family, Shiran had a blast playing with her and - other than the one riding incident, which he kind of understood - thinks she's a typical cute little demon girl.

Yuki: They only met briefly at the Banir ball, but Shiran respects the older boy and considers him a model big brother to his various siblings.

Kevin: Both Shiran and Tex liked Kevin when they met him, although they haven't seen him due to recent events.

Souta: A young werewolf male recently adopted by Shiran's new pack, Soutan has become a great influence in Shiran's life, and sticks up for the pup constantly to those that might question their differences. Although he doesn't often trust others, he considers anyone Shiran likes at least worthy of some respect.

Lin: Now here's an unlikely pairing. Lin's family was brutally tortured and murdered by werewolves similar to Shiran very recently, and she came under the care of Rune's friend Fletcher. Although at first terrified of the pup - understandably so - she quickly warmed up to him when he saved her from a rampaging wild beast in the Illuzen forest, then brought her back to Rune's. Now she refers to him as "My Kami" and, since Fletcher is living with Rune for a while, can usually be found tagging along after him, Raven and Tex. Even stranger, she's met both Yumoa and Tsuche, and after a rocky start now loves them both as her 'kami siblings.' Yumoa, especially, has become 'ne-kami-chan,' or 'wolf big sister.' 3nodding biggrin

Shiran's Toys

From Yumoa and Tenshi:

Medicine for Shiran's sickness, asked for by Yumoa from Santa. Raven makes sure Shiran takes the pills faithfully, even when he was mad at his sister.

Shiran loves this particular charm, and wears it right next to his Aknah around his neck.

An adorable fishie plush, though Shiran was rather insulted that his sister thought it was a 'human style doll.' He still kept it on his dresser, though lately he actually gave it to Cody to mess with during a fit of jealousy. Being rather smarter than he likes to pretend, Cody kept it safe boxed in one of his drawers, and refers to it as 'Fluff-fish.'

From the family:

Mostly from Mom, but occasionally something from his siblings, too.

A mage staff designed by Rune, colored to match Shiran's fur. Although he hadn't carried it much until recently, he takes great pride in it now and wears it on a special, modified sword belt. Mostly, it can be used as a weapon, and creates short glowing energy blasts.

Shiran's Pets

A place for any of Shiran's pets - though considering his choice of food, I don't know if he'll have any.

A set of three little bears that Raven found in a small shop one night, and absolutely loved. Shiran was fascinated by the little things, who in turn adore him, and considers them part of his family. (Think the mini monkey God sprites from Inuyasha, and you have a basic idea.)
