Hair: Dark blue, almost black.
Eyes: Olive green
Identifying marks: A small blue diamond tattoo on the corner of her right eye; a blue water drop tattoo on the back of her right hand, and a blue crescent moon tattoo on the back of her left hand. Also, a pair of white, furry ears / horns and a two-pronged, fuzzy tail in the same shade.
Status: Risen demon.
Likes: Books, most creative things like sketching, writing and music, anime and anime soundtracks, Chocobos, her family, Acrasia.

Rune Traverse:

A Slider from the world of Illuzen, Rune came to Gaia originally to get away from the people constantly comparing her to her more famous Slider kin. Loyal to a fault and mostly dependable, she has inherited her family's knack for 'adopting' people as well as their fierce nobility and protection of the innocent. Of course, this doesn't mean she can't be braindead, idiotic, or downright mean on occasion - much to her own dismay, she has quite a temper and tends to yell / magically break things when she gets angry. Currently, Rune lives in a Gaian home temporally synced with several dimensions, in a mixed family of several 'sisters,' a multitude of children, and various pets.

About Morgan:

From a different universe than Rune, Morgan spent her early life as the adopted daughter of a Daemon clan. At the age of eight, she lost her abilities and became 'psychic food' until a random accident at twenty helped her to regain her powers. With a quick wit and a mouth to match, she loves traveling to new places, and met Rune on one of her frequent 'adventures.' Also a book, anime and video-game nut, she can spend hours talking with Raven over different stories.

About Allie:

Not a whole lot is known for certain about Allie, although she, Rune, Thrall and Shiloh became good friends when they got caught up in a random demon's plottings. Shy, intelligent and rather quiet, she has an acidic tongue if made angry or if her loved ones are threatened - something Raven found out recently. xd 3nodding

About Shiloh:

A Summoner Aluai - that is, a summoner (mage) who has been trained in all killing arts - Shiloh is basically an assassin for hire, part of a group who lives in Sierre Rafel. Cool, calm and generally confident on the outside, those that know her well, like Raven, have seen that she has an intensely loyal, caring personality on the inside.

About Dray:

Raven's oldest sister, Dray is incredibly outgoing and loves flying as well as learning fighting and weapons. Intuitive, but not necessarily quiet, she sometimes blurts out things most people wouldn't even have noticed. She also loves trying to cook, something that drives Rune crazy. *we're still hosing down the kitchen from her 'Mass birthday cake' fiasco* At the moment, she absolutely loves Raven for rescuing her pet T'ru, Tigger, from banner hanging.

About Shazran and Nikki:

The other two original Konokai Rune adopted when she founded the Center, Shazran and Nikki are either complete opposites or in total agreement. Both are quiet, especially around people they don't know, but for different reasons; Shazran just doesn't have much to say, while Nikki is intensely shy and self-conscious. Both of them seem to enjoy Raven a lot, though.

About Cody and Aeris:

A pair of Konokai Rune adopted after she founded the center, Cody and Aeris are similarly wild, flighty, and generally very excited about the world. Raven and Cody got off on a rough start originally, but now they're probably just as close as her and Shiran. Aeris, on the other hand, exasperates Raven a little because she can never stay focused. Still, Raven likes her well enough.

About Alter:

Another of Rune's adopted daughters, Alter loves to read and can usually be found with her nose buried in a book. One of the few things that can draw her out of them is the smell of freshly baked brownies - or a family member in need of help. She also has an insane soft spot for kittens, flowers, butterflies and small children.

About Kairnai:

The first daughter Rune adopted without ties to Illuzen, Kairnai's name means 'flight.' Only a few inches tall, she loves to zoom around and play, especially with Apple the chipmunk since they're roughly the same size. She is also fond of a small, diamond-shaped pendant around her neck, which has been imbued with magic to allow her to grow to the size of a normal child.

About Shiran:

Raven's first younger brother and fellow Banir Kinder, Shiran was rescued by their sister Aeris and cousin Ramene in the forest near the house. Slightly sickly but always cheerful, the pup stole Raven's heart and is her very favorite sibling. He also has an older biological sister, Yumoa, who was adopted by Rune's friend Tenshi.

"Tex" as he's nicknamed, is the youngest of the three Banir Kinder, adopted recently as a Secret Santa present. *glomps Jeane* In any case, he's rather wild and loud, and he loves chasing his brothers and playing with the littler kids. Raven enjoys him, especially since he's gotten Shiran to play out in the sunshine a lot.

About Aura and Cayanne:

Almost complete opposites, Aura and Cayanne are twins and something of a mystery to Ravenbrooke. Aura - a Willow Leafling - is rather quiet, and she loves all sorts of creative things, especially drawing. Cayanne, on the other hand, is willful, rambunctious, and generally a wild child. However, they are both united in a deep bond with each other, which puzzles and disturbs Raven because she doesn't quite understand it.

A mix of shy and tough, this little one is a lot like Raven herself, and ended up being taken under her wing, so to speak. Although she's often quiet, she has no problem proving she's as tough as any of her siblings, no matter what the game.

Two of Rune's four youngest children, Mirelle and Kirika are adorable toddlers who just happen to be reincarnated assassins. *laugh* Always there for each other and their twin sisters Chloe and Rose, they adore Raven and call her "Rav-ne." Raven, in her turn, loves taking care of both of them, and has been helping them read.

About Chloe and Rose:

Although there is a very LONG story explaining how and why Chloe and Rose were born, the upshot of it is that the two of them were based on important people in Kirika and Mirelle's past lives. Both are redheads, though Rose looks more brunette or auburn; Chloe's eyes are brown, while Rose's are amber with a gold ring around the pupils. Like Mirai and Kiri, they love Raven to death, and are learning to read from her as well as their mom.

Aunt Jaymee: Rune's extremely famous Illuzen cousin, Jaymee Evans - also called Ri'Jelan Aarimeth-ki - is the Incarnate of all Water Magic and leader of the Coloured Eyes (her fellow Incarnates.) Very close to her cousin as a child, Jaymee feels bad that Rune is always compared to her and does her best to keep Illuzen from intruding on Rune's Gaian life. Fierce, intelligent and at the same time strangely innocent, she has a deeply noble attitude and enjoys spending time with her 'neices' and 'nephews.'

Auntie Keiko: Otherwise known as Keiko Matsu - or Lora Danners in Illuzen - Keiko is the one friend from Illuzen Rune is willing to share Gaia with at the moment. Also the mother of another Banir named Acrasia, Keiko was the first person other than her immediate family to give Raven a present, something she values very highly.

Acrasia Matsu: The daughter of Keiko Matsu and a fellow Banir Kinder, Acrasia was Ravenbrooke's first friend outside the family and probably the best one she could have had. No stranger to multiple-race families or the strangeness of Illuzen, the little gothic angel is definitely someone Raven relates to and cares about. (*grins* Raven's been rooting around the newly-found Konokai items in the past few days, looking for one that her best friend might enjoy - or possibly one that could bridge the gap between Acrasia and her sister, Syrona. Though I think that might take a miracle.)

Colette: Arafel's little Banir and the first one she really met, Raven was shy and a bit puzzled by Colette's innocence at first. However, she feels rather protective toward the sweet-looking child, and would enjoy making real friends with her.

Korini: One of Rune's good friends and the mother of another Banir Kinder, Ravenbrooke hasn't met her yet, but she's heard quite a few stories about the Kitsune and her two thunder twins. She'd probably enjoy meeting Korini.

Kai: A Kinder Raven just met, who impressed her with fire materia and his fox heritage. That, and the fact that he has a twin much like Dray. biggrin

Alyssah: One of Tawnie's little Banirs, Raven was drawn to her pretty bright colors and has discovered she likes the little fallen angel quite a bit. Currently, she feels horrible that Alyssah might be unhappy, and she'd thinking hard about a way to solve it.

Another 'pet' bought before Ravenbrooke came home, Whisp immediately attached herself to the little Banir and hasn't left her side since. She actually sleeps curled up on a little doggie bed right between Raven and Kiko, and she tends to sprawl at Raven's feet whenever there's space.

Long ago, there was a great war between a race of mystical beings called the Fey - friends and allies of various humans - and a trio of demonic races called the Daemad, or demonic triad. When the Children of the Fellain Clan finally created an attack to end the war, they were faced with a crucial problem; there weren't enough resources to get their allies out of danger, protect the innocent and still keep the demonic forces from overrunning their Sacred Spellcasting Circle.

In this time, there was also a teenaged demon - not of the Daemad races - who had befriended the Fellain Children. Known as Ravena Bro'ke, or Raven of the Brook, she was a fierce fighter, ruthless and powerful, but extremely loyal to the Fellain. Against the wishes of her Elder Demons, she led a cohort of 'good' demons to protect the Sacred Spellcasting Circle, defending her friends with every skill at her disposal. As the Deepest Legend attack was finally unleashed, it was said she fell in a halo of light that turned her fur to white, then vanished . . .

From then on, Ravena - or Ravenbrooke, in it's English / Common Illuzen form - was known as a name of honor among those demons who chose the path of good. Generally, it is either chosen for girl children of great power, or taken as a name by a demon who has done great things for others. Currently, there are two warriors known to have taken it; Ravena, a doppleganger of the Incarnate of Water Magic infused with demonic energy, and Akna-Brooke, a Midean who - after being controlled as an Angel of Death for several years - destroyed her captors and saved several dozen Knights of the Sharien from torture and death.

(*note* Ravena - also called Peyel - is the Banir Ravenbrooke's "aunt." Raven was named after her. And the story of Ravenbrooke comes directly from the Fey Prequel novels, though usually it's presumed she died after vanishing.)
