Our inventories should be able to be organized. Most people, like myself, have to trade with a mule account to organzied our things, and usually lose items in the process.

Yeah, you can just push a tab and get only that kind of clothing, but what about when you push 'All' to you can see everything? It's such a cluttered mess. It makes it a lot harder for some people to do a "Dress me" thread when everything is so... Sloppy.

Maybe a 'click and drag' item system might work. I'm sure it might cut back on lost items when people trade with themselves. I'm a neat freak so the way the inventories are set up kind of annoys me a little. Heh. x_x

I would love to have a way to sort my inventory besides the bank. I'm rather a**l about things being organized so I always need to sort my inventory. Right now the mess is driving me nuts, but I really don't trust the bank.

Yay, another neat freak like me. I hate having to trade to organize, and then everything gets messed up when you buy new things! gonk I agree, something should be done about organization.

My inventory has been messy since August and it is driving me insane. Even just attempts to sort it with the usual bank method just led to item loss. >.<

Any kind of sorting system would be greatly appreciated indeed. heart

Now if I want to view all my items I can't customize myself without clicking on an item, clicking "Yes I want to use this item", then putting it on my avy. Why do they make Sevi go through this whole process?? crying

I liked the old method of just having your items right there! Please don't make individual tabs for everything. I hardly use it (although now I use it frequently because I have to!!).

Anyway this should probably go in the "Feature Item Suggestion" thread in Extended Feedback.

(I miss the old method!)

On the bright side, it now preloads your inventory so clicking on a different tab will not reload the page as it used to. Which was incredibly annoying. ^^;

Definitely agreed. Many of my friends, as well as I, would really love such a system. I think the idea has been suggested in the suggested features thread, but it hasn't come out yet.

The click and drag system would work well in my humble opinion. It would be much better, easier, and safer to have an option like that than to continue to have trading be the only way to organize an inventory. For those of us with massive inventories, it gets to be a bother to send dozens of trades and cancel them, only to find that one item is misplaced and have to start over again. Additionally, with the bank working as sporadically as it has been and with all the item losses, I and many people feel unsafe trying to organize inventories in this manner. What if we were sorting our inventory and the bank malfunctioned, causing us to lose a large chunk of our inventories? And, in the worst case scenario, it would eat the most coveted items as well. With people who have smaller inventories, the potential loss could be their entire niventories. Having a different way to sort inventories would be much safer.

Another idea, Item Stacking, would be great too. I have a ton of June and October Letters for instance that I would like to bundle up so it looks tidy. It shouldn't be mandatory - god knows I have many friends who love looking at their massive inventories - but there should be an option where you could stack multiple copies of the same item. Maybe have like a little number in the bottom right corner or something denoting how many you own.

Sure inventory sorting isn't absolutely necessary for the good of Gaia. But it would be a nice thing to add once they deal with the current problems and new features.

That's true it did take a long time. I forgot about that. Maybe it didn't bother me much. sweatdrop

I still miss it though. I still would like to view all my items without having to go through the whole mess of picking, using the item and putting it on. gonk

True - it would get in the way... I guess they could have another option in the profile called "organize inventory" - it wouldn't necessarily have to have the thumbnails, but could just be like a list of items you own, that you can click and drag or otherwise easily organize with. EDIT Of course that would just require more server space and create more lag. I think again that its a good idea, but they should deal with current problems and the upcoming features first before they attempt such a thing (unless they're working on it already).

I agree with you Alexi 100%. Especially with the item stacking suggestion. 3nodding Some people don't want to have to look at 50 billion vials a day. x_x ...

Well we have two modes: "Customize Me" and "Inventory". The sorting could be done on the "Inventory" level, because the equipping function from that page seems kind of pointless.... stare
