Long ago, the great Frith made the world. He made all the stars... and the world lived among the stars. Frith made all the animals and birds... and, at first, made them all the same.
Now, among the animals was El-Ahrairah (Elil-Hrair-Rah), the Prince of Rabbits. He had many friends... And they all ate grass. But after a time the rabbits wandered everywhere... multiplied, eating as they went. Then, Frith said to El Ahrairah: "Prince Rabbit, if you cannot control your people... I shall find ways to control them."
But El-Ahrairah would not listen, and said to Frith: "My people are the strongest in the world." This angered Frith, so he determined to get the better of El-Ahrairah. He gave a present to every animal and bird... making each one different from the rest.
When the fox came, and others like the dog and cat... the hawk and weasel... to each of them, Frith gave a desire to hunt and slay the children of El-Ahrairah. El-Ahrairah knew that Frith was too clever for him, and he was frightened. He had never before seen the Black Rabbit of Death.
"My friend," said Frith, "Have you seen El-Ahrairah? For I wish to give him a gift."
"No, I have not seen him."
So, Frith said, "Come out, and I will bless you instead."
"No, I cannot. I am busy. The fox and weasel are coming. If you want to bless me, you will have to bless my bottom."
"Very well, be it so." And El-Ahrairah's tail grew shining white, and it flashed like a star. And his back legs grew long and powerful. He tore across the hill faster than any creature in the world.
"All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a Thousand Enemies. Whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you... digger, listener, runner. Prince with the swift warren. Be cunning and full of tricks... and your people will never be destroyed."

Welcome to Hrair Bryhlath, the Place of a Thousand Warrens.
The legend of the rabbit is a long one - and now you have the opportunity to take part in it. From rolling hills to dangerous forests, even into farmhouses and rocky terrain littered with elil, you are the true lord of the world - the rabbit. will you become the leader of a great warren, happy and free? Will you become a mystic seer, looking into what others cannot see, for better or for worse? Or will you simply join the ranks as another rabbit, trying to live his or her life, and perhaps make a name for yourself?
This is the place to do it.
This is not a typical place, at least not in the land we call Gaia. While there are some... unusual colours, we do not have magickal powers, beyond the seers' eerie sight. We will not save the world, nor will we turn into something as odd as a human. This is a place for true rabbits, those that understand the wonder of a sunny day and the joy that lettuce and carrots bring.
Here you will discover the rolling hills of Briarshade, perhaps; later you may happen upon the famed Watership Down, or even journey to the slowly reforming Efrafa, the most glorious and yet most terrible warren ever to have existed. Perhaps you will do nothing but grow old and fat in your warren, take a mate and watch your offspring grow and have happy lives. What you do is up to you - this is your time and your life.

1. First and foremost, do NOT PM anyone that works here. That means El Ahrairah, as well as the managers and the artist AND the taggist ANNNND the colourists. Don't do it. Just don't. There's no need to PM us. If we don't see your question in the thread, then... ASK AGAIN LATER. We're only human, I promise, but we don't need our inboxes cluttered.
2. Do not ask for a rabbit. If there is one available, it will be listed in the sales section. If there's not, then... there's not! It's really that simple. Thanks. ^_^
3. Do no harrass myself, any employees, or anyone ELSE in the thread. Be nice, or you'll be greylisted. Repeated offenses will have rabbits revoked and have you blacklisted.
4. I do not like Dr.Pepper. Mentioning Dr.Pepper in this thread will have you greylisted. Not only is this a silly rule, but it proves you've read the rules. <_<
5. Art theft will not be tolerated. I mean it. Plain and simple. You don't want to know what will happen otherwise. <_<
6. You must RP ALL rabbits EXCEPT for hlessil and regulars. If you don't INTEND to RP, then don't ASK for a rabbit that's not a hlessi or regular! It's really quite simple. <_<;
7. You must host adult rabbits yourself! If there are changes to be made later, I'll upload it later and send it to you for you to replace. I cannot host all of these! x_x Oh, and send me the link to the picture once you get it uploaded, so I can link to it here. Thankies. ^_^

Why are there a bunch of weird, non-english, italicised words?
Those are words from the lapine language. They're rabbit words, y'see! Go to the dictionary and translate; you'll find many words begin to stick with you, especially things like hrair, flay, rah, and zorn.

Why are you so strict on your RP judging? It's not fair!
Well, actually... It IS fair. It's my shop, and I'm allowed to judge how I want. But if you want the truth, it's likely that people that ASK for lvl 3+ positions WANT the intense RP and are prepared to type properly. The whole reason for this shop was that I really wanted that kind of roleplay. If you don't want to or aren't able to type with proper mechanics, then you wouldn't like the roleplay at lvl 3+ anyway. It's likely a lot of us are that picky.

Required RP is rated on a scale from 1-5, 1 being none, 2 meaning you have to show up occasionally in the thread, and 5 being very intense! RP levels 3 and up will be held responsible for proper grammar and spelling mechanics.
Types of Rabbits
Chief: The chief rabbit is surely the most important rabbit in a warren - at least on one level. He is the model for all the other rabbits - he is strong and intelligent, but still manages to be gentle and keep respect. At least in most places. Sometimes the chief is weak, and the warren languishes. Or, of course, the chief could be as a tyrant, and the warren will become strong, but desparate. The warren models itself after its leader, so to speak.
Required RP Level: 5.
Seer: The seer is a type of rabbit not always found in every warren, but extremely useful if rather frightening. These rabbits get glimpses of what is to come. Many have different 'abilities,' so to speak. Some get quick flashes, some simply get extreme feelings that they cannot resist. Some have been known to hear voices, and the voices are eerily correct; one rabbit has even claimed to talk with the Black Rabbit of Inle, and is freakishly right when predicting death. These rabbits are rare, but can be spotted early on; seers are trained from this moment on to understand their gift and make the most of it.
Required RP Level: 4.
Owsla: The owsla protect the warren. Organized in different ways for different warrens, one thing is true about all owsla members - they are the strong rabbits, the swift rabbits, and the cunning rabbits. Whether for the good of the warren or the bad of the elil, the owsla are something to be admired. Often headed by a captain, or even a seer, these rabbits can be quite fearful in the right situation.
Required RP Level: 3
Regular: A regular rabbit is just that - your general rabbit. Are they special? Maybe. Will they be famous? Perhaps. It's just they didn't want to join the owsla and they didn't have the sight of the seers. Fair enough, right?
Required RP Level: 2
Hlessi: The wanderers of the rabbit world. Hlessil have no home or warren. If they don't find one, many end up dead... or captured by humans. Will they find their way to a warren? Will they be accepted?
Required RP Level: 1
Bebes: Indeed, there will be baby rabbits. Of course there will be - they're rabbits! Anyway. Once babies are allowed out of the nest ((once they've been given to owners)), they begin to explore and rapidly become happy bundles of mobile fluff! Baby positions explain one of their parents' ranks - not what they will become. The final pose is determined by what babies do in RP!

Breeding
Breeding will be available to BOTH RP and non-RP couples. However, non-RP breeding will be much more expensive, have fewer kits, and must involve at least one hlessi. That way, if one of the parents IS RP-oriented, it kind of makes sense.
RP Breeding will take place between mates. You CAN switch mates, but it must be roleplayed properly! These rabbits don't boink like bunnies, damn it! xd
Each RP parent may keep one baby, but they must be RP'd! Other babies will be sold/auctioned, with 40% of the total going to the parent owners (20% to each).
Non-RP breeding parents only get 10% of profits each.
