2/5/05 - It's been a long, grueling, arduous five months. I've slaved. I've bumped. I've sat back and let other people do the work for me. But, after all is said and done, this quest is at it's completion.
If you must know, I haven't been paying much attention to this thread. I've instead been fishing and gradually building up my Pebbos, which reached about 718 before I sold them off for the last bit of gold I needed to get my second to last item. I haven't been posting much in general, instead enjoying the simpler aspects of Gaia. Like fishing fifty times and changing your avatar repeatedly (though not as much as Xylo :/).
So, who to thank? Alania, of course. Without her, this quest probably would have been abandoned halfway through, or it wouldn't have looked as snazzy as it did. She did a lot with donations, banners, bumps, and Seals of the Week. A big, big, big thank you to Alania for her help.
Also, I'd like to thank my consistant bumpers. Eight, Xyloart, and Yannah, who were kind enough to bump once a day for the thread. Without you, many people wouldn't see the title of this thread, and they'd miss out on how witty I am. Thankyou. heart
Of course, I'd also like to thank my donators, who completed at least a fourth of the quest for me, which is terribly, terribly, terribly kind of them. Great, big, sloppy thanks to everyone who donated whatever amount of gold or items. You saved me another month. <3
Last, but not least, thank you Gaia, for consuming me, than boring me, than consuming me again, than kind of leaving me feeling empty. You'll always be there for me.

It has come to my attention that over the past few months (almost a year) that I've been on Gaia, there have been items I've wanted. Whether it be shoes, pants, shirts, or party hats, there have been a plethora of store items that require a considerable amount of gold for me to obtain. Now then, I could be a responsible little fellow and save-up every penny until I reach my goal, not acting on impulses to buy things like a paper bag. But, I'm an impatient little imp, and thus have decided to take the easy way out and slap a flashy name on a plea for help. This is THE BIRTH of Popion's Omega Item Quest.
With the help of the lovely, the beautiful, the kind, the talented, the sweet, and the sexy Alania, who has sworn to help me in any way she can, I shall set-out to complete what I have come to known as the OMEGA ITEM QUEST. It's a quest for enough gold to buy the items I want from the Gaia stores, ranging from a pair of sandals to the Stylish Winter Coat. I've had my eyes on these pieces and sets for quite some time, and now I have set out to fufill my lustful desires.
Now, I suppose I should make it clear that this is not a quest to help sickly children, or supply a rare bit of sprites to my loved one to share my boundless affection for her. No, this is me being a greedy little dork and having the wardrobe I desire. That doesn't sound very appealing, but aren't we all greedy little dorks? Besides, I'm not necessarily an <I>ungrateful</I> one. I love you all. I love EVERYONE. I just want to be loved. ;;
I'm willing to stick with this quest through and through until I reach my goal, which shouldn't be more then a couple of months. With fishing and battling coming, it's about time I saddle-up, sit down, and reach the nearly 100k I'll need to get everything. Now, I can do this without your help, but I would majorly appreciate every bump or donation, no matter how small or how large. I'll bump your threads, I'll whore your name out, I'll even link whatever you wanted linked to that section seven posts down from here.
With your kindness, Alania's adorability, and my own determination, I can finally become...
