This beauty is on display. She's just left her cloudy retreat, so isn't ready to be sold. I will, however, take offers on her. If I get a REALLY good offer, I shall sell her to you before I start an auction. Most likely, she shall not be ready to be sold until the buisness gets moving. SHe is still a pup, by the way. Lycanthrope art cerdits are given to Catzombie, who has goven me full permission to use her work in this manner. n.n You may not edit, use, or alter any aspect of this art without both my and Catzombie's permission.
Lycanthrope, if you hadn't already known or guessed, is another word for Werewolf. A typical Lycan will live a normal human life, changing to a partially or fully wolf form every full moon. These Lycans, however, are different. They have been bred and raised to retain their partial wolf form. They have been bred to retain the best of both worlds; human intelligence and dexterity combined with the strength and instincts of a wolf. Thus, these Lycans should not nessecarily be considered pets; they are moreso companions.
As pups, they are rather dog-like, being playful and carefree. They mature rapidly, catching up to humans within less than a week. During their time as pups, it is essential they are cared for by their "owner," establiching a bond. Once fully grown, they are loyal to their companions, doing anything to protect them. Their companionship is not to be taken lightly.
Your Lycanthrope will go through six stages of growth.
The first stage is an egg, occurring in the mother's womb. This stage will only be witnessed in breeding, not flatsales or auctions. When a Lycanthrope is purchased, it is at the pup stage. After a one week incubation period after breeding, the pups will be born.
The second stage of your Lycanthrope is pup. This is the first stage your Lycan will be in when you recieve him or her. When he or she is a pup, his or her starting intelligence level will be that of a well trained housedog. Over the course of the next week, his or her intelligence will rapidly increase until he or she reaches human level IQ. During this time, interaction may be important as it my or may not determine your pet's life span as an adult, as well as how well he or she behaves towards you. After one week, your Lycan will mature to their adult stage. If the owner visits the thread often and RPs, the Lycan may age more rapidly.
The third stage following Pup is Adult. Your Lycanthrope will be at the peak of his or herself mentally, physically, and emotinally. He or she should be very attatched to you at this point. During the period in which he or she is an adult, breeding is allowed. Your Lycan will remain an adult for approximately one month. The time varys on how much or how little you have RPed with him or her.
The fourth stage of your Lycanthrope's lifespan is Elder. He or she will no longer be able to breed. Instead, they will be more independant. He or she will need minimal RP, and at times may simply wish to be alone. Don't abandon your Lycan, though. Just because they wish themselves more independence does not mean they are no longer attatched to you. Your Lycanthrope will remain an elder for approximately three weeks.
The fifth stage is Death. Yes, after three weeks of living as an elder, your Lycanthrope will die. For about a day or so, your pet's box will be empty, except for a faint wisp of color in remembrance. Occasionally, a bouquet of flowers may appear there. This is the time nessecary for your Lycan to move onto the afterlife. After a few days, your Lycan will return to you.
The sixth and final stage of your Lycanthrope's life (Or afterlife) is Spirit. Your Lycanthrope will remain with you forever in this form. He or she is not gone forever, simply in a different form. Don't worry, he or she will not fade away. Spirit is the final and permanant stage of life for your Lycan, a stage to be honored!
The above picture is a diagram of the female drawn stages. No worries, the others will be completed very soon, in time for all your pets to mature. n.n

There are many different breeds of Lycanthropes. The most common breed is the Normal breed. They posess no wings, horns, or other special features. They are the ideal werewolf for a beginner to start out with. This type of Lycanthrope's fur colors vary from a dull black and white to a firey blast of color.
A recently discovered new breed is the Butterfly Lycanthrope. She is seen with beautiful iridecent butterfly wings. At the moment, there is only one of such a creature. However, if she chooses to breed there may be many more.
Another breed of Lycantropes is the Angelic species. At this time, she too is the only member of her group, but may be bred to more. She posesses gorgeous angel wings, powerful in flight.
The final breed of Lycanthropes is the demon. No demonic Lycans have been found yet, but rest assured there will be at least one.
These four breeds are NOT the only breeds there are. In the future, it is certain more will be discovered and made available to you. I hope you enjoy the breeds we posess at this time!
While your Lycanthrope is an adult, it may breed. Please keep in mind that Lycans, like wolves, mate for life. Once you have chosen a mate for your Lycan, there's no going back.
Breeding will cost 1k. As soon as I have recieved payment, you will notice 1-4 eggs will appear in the item box of the female. They will rest there for one week, afterwhich they will hatch into pups. You may sell, auction, or keep the pups, but bear in mind I will recieve 50 percent of the profits fo the auction. (Cat and I are, after all, doing the work.) If you do not wish to keep or sell the pups, you may sell them back to me. I will pay you 500g for each pup, afterwhich I am free to do with them what I want. Ownership of the pups is to be discussed over with the parents; I refuse to govern over that.
Papillons are a discontinued pet, meaning no more versions will be made. However, they are still breedable.
The females look like this.
The males look like this.
They will come int he same box as the werewolves. Eggs are pretty much always available. They cost 1k.
Your pet will remain an egg for one week, unless RPed with. Then they will mature faster.
After egg, they mature to Pup, which they stay in for two weeks. Again, if RPed with, they mature faster. If you wish your pup to remain a pup, you may purchase a stone of youth for 500g. They will remain a pup until you unequip it, at which point they resume life where they left off.
Once your pet has reached the adult stage, they are ready to breed. A clutch will usually contain four eggs. You may sell/auction them if you wish, but I must see the auction thread. I shall recieve a mere 25 percent of the profits. You may also sell the eggs back to me for 500g.
Breeding will cost 1k.
<center> Currently, there are three items available.
The Sphere of Time
This item sits in your inventory where it works it's magic on your Werewolf. This sphere, when equipped, will prevent progress to the next stage for one month. It can be equipped or unequipped, but afer one month it will dissappear. After the Sphere has been unequipped, your pet will continue from when the Sphere was first equipped. It's rather like a stasis.
Any time in this one month period you may equip or unequip the sphere. The Sphere of Time costs 1k.
The Sphere of Progress
This item is a one time use item. It will progress your pet directly to the next stage. Once this is done, the only way to undo it is to purchase the Sphere of Youth.
The Sphere of Progress costs 2k.
The Sphere of Youth
This item, like the Sphere of Progress, is a one time use item. It will revert your pet to the beginning of the previous stage. Your pet will continue living normally from that point.
All flatsale Lycanthropes will cost 2k, unless otherwise specified. If you don't see a Lycan colored the way you want, contact me and for 3k I will custom color your Lycan.
To purchase a Lycan pup, please post in the thread the follwing form:
Name:
Owner:
Which Lycanthrope you would like to buy:
Any items you wish to buy:
Total:
Then, send me a trade with the total amount. As soon as I have confirmed the trade, I will either post or PM the link to your werewolf.
If you like, you may direct connect, as it will be easier to change the pet. However, if you would like to host him or her yourself, you are free to do so. Let me know what you decide.
Although RPing is not an essential part of owning a Lycanthrope, it is encouraged. I understand not everyone can be here to RP, so if you aren't here I'm not going to stop growth of your pet.
RPing helps progress through the pup stage and prolong the adult and elder life. You may RP as you choose, I'm not too strict about it. I just ask you limit yourself with the netspeak. i dont like readng rp tha is typd lik this, u no?
People who RP a lot or bump the thread may be eligable for special prizes or events. It provised a firendly atmosphere and bumps the thread, enabling the community of Lycans to grow and prosper. Above all, it's something fun to do!
