Have you heard of Gaian Givers? These people are to be worshipped and loved, NOT pestered or bugged for donations. They donate/give you free stuff just because they feel like it. By bothering them, you're only discouraging them from being nice to anyone they don't know in general.

I have long wished I could be a Gaian Giver, but sadly I haven't the funds to be one. I'm still fairly a newbie, (having joined Gaia only in May 04) but I'd still like to be able to welcome/help out others. Or just give stuff whenever I feel like it.

Since earning Gold in Gaia is downright difficult for me, I decided to set up this shop. No, not to earn money, but to be a Gaian Giver in this sense. I'm giving these pets to Gaians who either don't have enough money to buy the more expensive ones or to Gaians I like in general.

These little gumdrop things also change forms. When asked what these were called, I drew up a complete blank. It was a good thing Lady Vincira was there to suggest that these be called "Gumlings." And there you have it.

Before I forget, these are pets FOR pets. So you need to already have a pet in the first place. Why? Because I base the gumdrop's color scheme on your pet's. Yes, just the color, nothing else. So if your main pet is wearing an angelic camisole, you're out of luck unless the unseen forces decides to grant me extra time to draw them clothes and accessories.

Not many, just the usual Do's and Don'ts:
DON'T:
1.) Steal the images or edit them in any way, I drew and colored them myself.
2.) Flame or harass or be a n00b. Newbies are fine, in fact they're loved.
3.) Quote exessively, they're annoying and makes things inconvenient for others, three-four quotes are fine.
4.) Insult me or anyone in the thread or in those I hang out in.
5.) type in l337 5|*34|<, unless you provide a translation I will not be able to understand anything you wrote.
6.) Rush me in any way to update/grow your pet.
7.) Disappear completely.

DO:
1.) Hang around, even to just bump or say hi.
2.) Read everything, it just makes things easier for everyone that way.
3.) Post your questions rather than PMing me.
4.) Donate - I'm semi-joking and semi-serious about this one. You don't have to donate, but it would be nice if you did n.n
5.) Realize that I have a life outside of Gaia and that I have the right to discontinue this should I have difficulty in maintaining it.


The Question and Answer portion:

Q: How much is one?
A: Well, the title of the shop is "The Gratis Bakery" and I did provide the definition of Gratis... to put things simply, the price is whatever you decide to give me n.n I also accept 'shop attention' as payment XD

Q: How can I get a Recipe?
A: You post your interest in wanting one. Although that won't mean I'll give it to you instantly. If I'm in a nice mood I might give it to you instantly. Posting in the thread more than once helps put me in a good mood n.n

Q: How can I get a Gumling?
A: Just post saying you want one and include a link to the pic or the pic itself of the pet the gumling is based upon n.n They won't have certs. Ever.

Q: How can I get an Intangible?
A: You have to write a story. Don't make it too long, because Malady has a short attention span. Don't make it too short either, because Malady prefers a continuous story rather than a one-shot. What should the story be about? Anything you like. Although be warned, Malady has a very erratic taste. It may like comedy one day or angst the next. Oh and before I forget, your story MUST conform to the Gaian rules, so no hentai and/or hardcore contents, innuendos (I think) are fine.

Q: What if I can't think up a story? How else can I get an Intangible?
A: You donate at least 5k or do a pet trade so I can influence Malady XD Any higher than 5k gets you a semi-custom Intangible.

Q: Do we direct link?
A: Yep, but once I tell you to save them to your own server, please save to your own server n.n

Q: Will you PM the images to me?
A: No, you will have to pick it up from the pick-ups section n.n of that particular category smile

Q: Do you have a wishlist?
A: Who doesn't? XD The pets I'm wishing for are (in no particular order):

A: Yep. I realize these pets are beyond my reach. I will attempt but I won't be disheartened if I do not get one. That's life and some things are just beyond my league n.n

Q: Why are you making a 'free' shop? You crazy or something?
A: I know I'm not rich, I never will be as I'm more of a consumer than seller XD But yeah, I guess I am crazy.
