Welcome to the Dew Drop Grove!

Dew Drop Grove is the sister shop of Xanolonia. While Xanolonia remains the core world in which the Grove exists it is here that some of the most unique and wondrous magic occurs. As one of the sister stores of Xanolonia, the Dew Drop Grove specialises in one of the non-humanoid species features in the Bestiary of the world.

For this reason, this store will remain closely connected to that store and may eventually become part of the metaplots that will take place within the Sister Store. However, for the time being the Dew Drop Grove is a world in itself, and remains the home of the most loved of the current creatures featured in the bestiary - the Vixies.

Therefore on behalf of the staff of Xanolonia we would like to welcome you to the new and official home of the Vixies. A breedable minipet that exists within he world of Xanolonia~!

The World of Xanolonia is filled with many exotic beasts. With barren and dangerous lands stretching out beyond the protective embrace of the Mountain Valleys it is no surprise that for the most part these beasts are considered to be very dangerous. However, like every world that exists (regardless of the plane it resides in) there are always places of Solace and with these places, come creatures of a more desirable nature...

It was long ago when the Vixie race were created. Their birth came in trying times and it was with the blessing of the Divine Goddess that they came about. Their purpose was simple; they were to spread happiness through the world of Xanolonia where darkness had destroyed all hope and happiness. Where war had ravished the lands, these tiny creatures were to use their unique god-given magic to renew it.

Taking on the form of Pixies, their arrival caused mixed reaction throughout the land. They didn't spawn in one exact place, rather they spawned in every wood both ravaged and healthy throughout the World. They came without warning, their antics were completely unexpected and yet they did exactly as they were instructed and continued to do so from that day forward.

You see, the Blessed Vixie were born in a rather unique way. The eggs in which they hatched from were actually found deep within the droplets of dew that covered the grass, the leaves and so forth across the land. In time, they would be the reason why the droplets had that iridescent and pearly look in certain lights.

Nevertheless, in time they instilled hope in their people again. Granted, their mischievous antics also caused outrage to the occasional humanoid but for the most part all was well!

...It would be years before another earth shattering event would caused this idealistic life to be disrupted. As the Dark Dhimari rose up from the Ring of Fire in the North they created a rift so powerful that the fabric between the planes between Xanolonia and Gaia would be terribly weakened. The fabric would be so weak that one Kitsune demon in particular would be able to penetrate this veil and would find himself in a land quite unlike his home.

Known only as 'Spork', this Kitsune had stumbled upon the single location in which this fabric was particularly weak. It was in this place that he encountered the Vixie who seemed to commune in this particular area. While at first he didn't completely understand the reason for their gatherings he soon would for he had found the very Grove in which the Goddess had blessed the land.

As playful and curious as these Vixie were, they were more than happy to flit back and forth between the world of Xanolonia and Gaia, but this came with a price. Though the Goddess was not angered by their actions she made both the Kitsune and the Vixie vow to do but one thing for her...

The Vixie were permitted to commute between the two worlds but those that did must never leave the Dew Drop Grove again the moment they reappeared in Xanolonia. Given the terrible risk this would bring to the rest of the world, their journeys were to remain completely secret and no other creature from the world of Gaia was permitted to enter the lands of Xanolonia.

The Kitsune made his oath and so too did the Vixie.

It was with this oath in mind that the Kitsune allowed a select few Vixie to travel back with him to Gaia where they immediately befriended a number of individuals. Thriving on the attention of these unusual Gaians and their obviously playful natures, the Vixie became content with their new world and were more than happy to commune in the Grove and to play with their new friends.

And all the while they continued to extend the hope and happiness that their goddess encouraged...

General Information: Epine is one of the few individuals who are aware of the true extent of the Kitsune's discovery. While she was sworn to secrecy in terms of the exact birth place of the Vixie she was also charged with locating homes for the otherwise playful creatures. This role has suited her much more than her previous positions (some of which were beyond peculiar) and she has thrived in it.

Now found in the small confines of the Vixie adoption facility, she is otherwise charming and presentable to the public eye. That being said the 'home' and 'shop' in which she works is a little worse for wear given the nature of her job.

Ever the optimist she looks for the best in everyone and believes the Vixie have the power to make every one 'lighten up' which she deems to be a very, very good thing!

How much do they cost?
3,000g or 3k

How often do sales occur?
Every month, usually a minimum of five will be sold each month. Method of sale differs every so often from speed to mini game sales.

How often are events held?
This depends very much on the free time of the colourists and the shop owners. If there is a period of free time they may occur randomly or usually seasonal.

Do you do customs/bribes/pet trades?
Yes, full details can be found on Page 2.

How often do breedings occur?
Breedings will either occur through mini events or can be offered as an Roleplay reward for playing with your Vixie!

Can I be a guest colourist?
I usually hunt out guest artists alone but if you want to try you may send samples to the mule.

How many can I own?
As many as you like!

While she wasn't originally the artist of the store she was responsible for the storylines and the majority of the metaplot/factions behind the world of Xanolonia. Similarly, she will collaborate with the colourists on numerous occasions to edit lineart. These collabs usually occur for heavy Cosplay vixies.
