||| :: There are three worlds that exist in all of time and space. Three worlds. Only three worlds. And although it never seems like it, they are three worlds very closely tied. They interchange, they spread apart, they forget the other exists... but they are always connected.

Heaven, where the angels lived, ruled by the mysterious being simply named Yashua. What He was was uncertain, but He was the supreme ruler. The angels served, did His bidding and spread His teachings.

Hell, where the devils lived, ruled by the fallen angel Lucy. The rebel angel who tried to overthrow Yashua and was punished. She was sentenced to burn forever in the hell fires of sin. Her heart, wicked and twisted, consumed by darkness.

Earth, where the humans and the mortals lived, ruled by many and owned by no one. Earth, the creation and child of Yashua. He watched over them, always, and protected them. He guided them. He sent His angels to guide them and teach His ways. They were loyal to Him. Yet some were not. Lucy went her devils to spread HER teachings and corrupted many. Earth became an invisible battle ground between Heaven and Hell.

The three worlds, connected and forever as one. Yet only for a short time. Very quickly, things changed.

Heaven fell into a civil war. More began to see Lucy’s teachings, those of freedom from Yashua’s tyranny, as a better guide. Lucy, though wicked, did not live by anyone’s rules. She had wanted freedom to believe and make her own choices. If that is what caused her to be kicked out of Heaven, than was Heaven truly... Heaven? So there was war between the true believers and the believers of freedom. It lasted for one hundred years, during which Earth was forgotten.

Lucy used this chance to seize power on Earth. Yet a civil war broke in Hell as well between those who wanted to claim Earth as the new Hell and those who believed it was better to do away with it.

Both Heaven and Hell withdrew from Earth, lost in their own eternal conflicts. And Earth was left alone. Humans do not live as long as angels and devils. As the civil wars dragged on for over one hundred years, the people who did know the teachings of Heaven and Hell alike died. Humanity was left without either and plunged into chaos.

No one knows what happened after that. Earth vanished and was declared destroyed. Yashua went mad, closing off Heaven and murdering many of his own angels. Lucy plunged herself and her people further into darkness, hope of redemption further from her grasp.

Suddenly there seemed to be no place to leave. No world would house the wanderers that were not entirely dead. Their souls drifted... and found a planet like and yet unlike Earth. Earth became legend and this planet, named Yasu’tri, was the new home for lost angels, devils and humans a like. For the first time since the beginning of the universe, the three species were thrown together. But Yasu’tri had species of its own and quickly became a very unsafe place to live for outsiders.

And then the rumor came. The rumor of the L'Arc. The L'Arc with the power to create an entire new world. A new home, a new planet. A new Heaven, a new Hell a new Earth.

But it was only a rumor. Until the L'Arc appeared in flesh.

A fateful encounter with a human boy with mysterious power of his own will decide the fate of three worlds. But all seek the L'Arc. Heaven wants a new Heaven, Hell wants a new Hell, and humanity wants a new Earth.

However while others fight to obtain the power, the boy and five others become rebels. They desire what the L'Arc desires: To create one world for them all. :: |||

[ THE RACES ]


The Angels
Beautiful and radiant, the Angels come from Heaven. They all have great wings that come in black, white, bluish-white and [very rarely] red. All Angels are gifted with a power over an element, minus fire. Fire, used by Lucy in her rebellion, was banished from Heaven. Water, Wind and Earth are considered the ‘pure’ elements that the Angels worship. Angels also specialize in healing and defensive magic spells. They have perfected the art and protect the secret of this art fiercely. You will rarely find an Angel willing to teach anyone else their magics. Angels are fair skinned with light colored hair and eyes. Any Angel with darker hair or eyes is a bit of an outcast, but will generally be excepted if they can prove themselves. Currently the Angel population is split between the True Believers and the Freedom Fighters. Angels shun technology, preferring their magic and old fashion weapons.

The Devils
Devils (more commonly called Demons) are a breed made for war. They are usually physically strong even if they do not look it and wield Black Magic like a pro. At an early age they are taught heavy hitting spells that can wipe out entire armies. However NONE of these spells are elemental based. Devils have lost the art of elemental magic, including the one they use to prize most: fire. So instead Devils turn to magics based on shadows and summons. Every Devil has a shadow companion that takes shapes depending on the Devil’s will. This shadow becomes the tool a Devil uses to fight. The better magic a Devil has, the more control and shapes he/she has over the shadow companion. Though Devils all despise the Angel race, many have mixed feelings towards the humans. Some want them dead, others want to merely study them. It’s a mixed bad. The Devils are a confusing lot. They are considered evil and by definition, they are. Yet they are not all bloodthirsty and death seeking like they are portrayed. Devils are the best of both technology and magic. They use both well and have even been able to combine the two.


The Humans
The largest race, humans are neither magically gifted nor physically strong. Though humanity has begun to embrace magic, albeit reluctantly, human relay more on their weapons. And to be sure, humans can create the finest in weaponry. In fact, Angels and Devils use blades, guns and others that were crafted by the human race. Humans can adept to change and enjoy all levels of life. They currently live on Yasu’tri, educating their children and continuing to fight against the native monsters of Yasu’tri. Regretfully, humans suffer many casualties pure day because of these monsters. Though they are not a particular special or amazing race, it is them that the L’Arc responds to and them who have suffered best over the destruction of their home planet. Few remember or even believe in Earth, calling it nothing but a legend or a fairy tale. Humans are the future of all three worlds as both Angel and Devil oracles have predicted. This has caused them to be either a much beloved race or a much hated race amongst various Angel and Devil folk. Humans are the most technology advanced race as well, having rather amazing computers, space crafts and other gadgets.

The Mixed Bloods
The rarest species in existence, these are those with the blood of two races. Although interbreeding is strictly forbidden among the Angels, Devils often mate with humans in disguise. However Angels have awesome fell in love with and bred with humans as well, though Angel/Human halflings are far more rare. Even more unheard of is Angel/Demon, but there is certainty that someone like that exists somewhere. As a result of all of this, Devil/Human hybrids outnumber Angel/Human and Angel/Demon combined by at least a dozen. But over all, halflings are partially nonexistence. Devils welcome half Devils into their midst. The more for their cause the better. However Angels and Humans shun all mixed breeds regardless of what their mix is. They see them as freaks of nature and sins against Yashua. Thus mixed breeds are use to harsh treatment, often becoming slaves or labor workers just to stay alive. Most attempt to keep their identity a secret at all cost.


The L'Arc
The L’Arc was at first foretold as an object. The Angel oracle that predicted it described it as a giant egg, which is what all Angels are born from. A Devil oracle described it as a great sword forged by humans and made from the blood of Angels and Devils alike. Even still, a human soothsayer told that the L’Arc was a book full of ancient knowledge. As it turns out, the L’Arc is all and none of those things. It’s power and origins are entirely unknown, shrouded in a rather dark cloud. The L'Arc’s creation is a trail of blood, betrayal and death... Yet it’s power brings renewal and hope.


The Shi’koko
The Shi’koko are the monsters that inhabit Yasu’tri and who now hunt the humans. They come in all shapes and sizes, colors and types. But they are all very unlike anything anyone has ever seen. They do not take humanoid forms, though those who study them say they very well could. More so, they seem to be apart of the planet themselves. This creates a dilemma as when they are killed, Yasu’tri withers. Forests crumble, there’s an earthquake, the ocean recedes, etc. The human race is trying to find the connection between them and the planet, and how to kill them without hurting their new home, but time is running out. Meanwhile the Shi’koko continue to prey on the humans (and Angels and Devils alike). Although they are all different, they have in common a strange see-through type quality. You can see a distorted image of what is behind them from time to time, sometimes even see their internal organs.

The L’Arc.

Name: Unknown [Has ‘L’Arc’ tattooed in red on her forearm and thus calls herself that.]
Age: Appears 19
Gender: Female
Alignment: Neutral
Likes: Nature, The color green, Cats, Cooking, Rain, Computers
Dislikes: The color red, Thunder, Labs, Scientists, Children
Abilities/Strengths: L’Arc seems to be blessed with superhuman abilities that makes people question whether she is human or machine. She has incredible speed and agility, able to jump and twist her body in ways that make her a deadly fighter. She prefers using her feet to kick and only her fists as a last resort. Aside from physical abilities, L’Arc seems to have a number of dormant abilities that only appear at certain times or in certain situations. She has some degree of mind control abilities, allowing her to make others tell her things or do things for a short amount of time. Linked to this is some kind of telekinetic power that she has a very good grasp on. In addition, she has a many little and rather useless powers that pop up here and there. She seems to be connected to nature, able to make plants grow faster, heal animals, etc. And, of course... Her main ability is being the L’Arc, being able to create a new world. But how this works seems to be shrouded in mystery, even from her.
Weapon(s): She prefers her hand to hand combat, but when she must, she wields an odd golden gun. Her back up weapon is a sword of light, but she rarely uses that.
Weaknesses: She’s odd and that painfully shows. Having never been outside in the real world before, she knows very little and is easy to take advantage of. L’Arc is also hard to get along with. When she sets her mind to something, she will do it. It is her missions and HER wants above all else. Thus she is also a bit selfish and only helped others when it is in her best interest. Her lack of trust for most people and her nature of being quick to judge is hard to cope with.
Description: i am not your little broken doll
Personality: L’Arc is a very emotionless being. She seems cold and cruel most of the time. Her nature to kill first, ask questions later is off putting. She seems to accept that she is a very powerful being sought after by many, yet at the same time, doesn’t seem to understand what she really is. She can often appear mentally unstable at times, changing from being completely childlike to being very serious or mean. She has a tendency to think with logic instead of her heart and/or feelings, which can make talking to her frustrating. However to those she calls allies and friends, L’Arc is loyal and will fight for and with them.
History: L’Arc does not have a name nor any childhood to speak of. One day she simply woke up in a lab as she is now, a successful experiment to whoever the lab had belonged to. But her creators and her origins are a mystery as she woke up in a lab that was destroyed. A fire had clearly torn it to pieces. The place also seemed very old. Unmoved, L’Arc left the lab without bothering to find out much about herself. She merely entered into the world, intent to learn. Unfortunately learning this meant learning her power was sought after it. It did not take long for oracles of the Angels and Devils to discover her and send people to retrieve her. L’Arc fended them off with her enhanced skills and so began a game of cat and mouse.

L’Arc remained on the run for awhile, occasionally clashing with those out to take her. Through it all L’Arc did not understand why she was being chased. So she returned to the lab she had woken up in to uncover some truths. She discovered she was the legendary L’Arc and that she alone could create a new world.

Oddly, it was logic that told her that she would not take sides. Instead, she would do what she wanted: Create her own world for all three races that fought to obtain her power. Setting out again with this goal, L’Arc was still missing three things to accomplish this. Whatever they are aren’t known yet. But it is the search for these things that bring her the fateful encounter of the boy and, eventually, the rebel group that will help her.

Abilities/Strengths: As an Angel, Karen does, of course, have the ability to fly, even without her wings. She relies only on her fire powers, her element being fire. She can wield flame and manipulate it at will. She can create it or use flame already there to her advantage. Karen is also has the powers of an oracle, able to foresee and know things behind the obvious.
Weapon(s): Her pyrokenesis is her only weapon.
Weaknesses: As he relies so heavily on her pyrokenesis powers, if they are disabled somehow, she’s at a disadvantage. She isn’t very strong physically, either. She’s quick and agile, but can be over powered. She also has rather low self-esteem, having been put upon her during her childhood by her mother and fellow Angels. She can be pessimistic and quick to give up if the situation gets too difficult.

Personality: Karen is calm and keeps a level head. It takes a lot to get her mad, which is probably a good thing given how deadly her element is should she lose control. Years of being mistreated and hated has given her a deeper insight of the world than most, which in turn developed into mystic powers usually reserved for oracles. She is bitter towards Angels and Mixed Bloods, preferring to live and be with humans. She would be much more willing to give her life and protect a human rather than anyone else. She’s lazy and does not like to do meaningless tasks. She hates chores and housework.
History: Karen is a pure blooded Angel who was born and raised most of her life in Heaven. However she is a descent of Lucy, the Angel who rebelled against Yashua and was banished. Her family was well known for being such descendants, so she was instantly treated unkindly by fellow Angels. However things got much worse for her when she started being able to use the forbidden element of fire. No one in her family could do this. This spelt doom for them, so her parents were quick to abandon Kasumi when she was nine, wanting nothing to do with her.

Somehow Karen managed on her own, still attending school and living life despite all the prejudice she faced. Then on fateful day, Karen was showing a friend of hers whom she trusted her fire craft. However at the time controlling it was not easy for her and she caught the home of the friend on fire. Frightened and angry, Karen’s trust friend pushed her into the flaming house. Karen was severally injured and would have died had it not been for a mysterious rescuer.

It became clear then to both Karen and the high council of the Angels that she could not stay in Heaven. Her wings were taken and she was exiled, labeled a Fallen Angel and sent to the Human realm. Karen did not mind this in the end. She hated her treatment in Heaven. Here in the Human realm, she was nothing more than another face in the crowd. She liked this. Karen took up a rather questionable and shady job, equivalent to a prostitute but not quite. She stayed with this job for awhile, eventually attempting to break from it. However when she did, the syndicate she was working for tried to kill her.

Karen has escaped them for now and currently makes a life owning a small and mysterious fortune telling shop.
Other: Karen has two black tattoos of the outline of angel wings on her shoulder blade, a rather ironic choice.

Abilities/Strengths: Can Fly Extremely Fast, Has a Massive Amount of Strength, Can Breath Underwater, Can Pass Between the Worlds withought Guidance from the Rulers

Weapon(s): Valsung can use any natrual part of his body as a weapon, including
his maw, claws, wings (offense aswell as defense), tail or his incredible strength. But he can also summon the elements of Lightning, Fire, Water, Ice, Wind and Earth at will.
Although he is more proficient with Lightning by far.

Weaknesses: Cannot kill withought hesitation, can become very slow and depressed if he feels guilt. Feels compassion for everyone on the battle field, which somtimes leads to his teammates getting hurt, He also refuses to hurt women or children.

Description: The Fearsome Thunder God of the Humans

Personality: Valsung is very compassionate and sincere, caring for everything he cherishes. He is also very wise because of his ancient age. He often gives advice to those around them, trying to help and persuade others to do their best. He has a dark sense of humor, often poking fun and making jokes in desprate situations. Valsung wants only to bring peace and calm to the worlds, and is generally calm and low-key but once he is in battle, he is a ferocious force that can tear through ranks of enemies.

History: Valsung was born on earth in the beggining of time. He belongs to neither the devils nor the angels, and follows his own path with utmost certainty. On earth, he has been viewed by many as a devil, even though many diffrent people have worshipped him as they would a god. But through the eyes of Yashua, Valsung has been labled a demon and not to be meddled with. So, both Heaven and Hell locked there gates to prevent Valsung from finding a home away from earth. Time passed on and the civil wars broke out within the other worlds, and the rebels formed. Valsung was intrugued, and found that he would die for their cause, and offered to become the L'arc's personal gaurdian. The L'arc agreed and Valsung soon came to be known as "The Misunderstood Devil" Umong their ranks.

Name: Pankajakshi “Pan” Ucathyah

Species: Half-Breed (Devil/Human)

Dislikes: humid/hot weather, spicy food, horseplay, water, being forced to swim
Abilities/Strengths: Despite her appearance, Pan is incredibly strong and is capable of lifting objects many times her own weight. She’s light on her feet, but her strength far surpasses her speed. She has a deep connection with her shadow companion, Aesop, and the two share a telepathic understanding of one another. Aesop can take on many forms but they seem to be restrained to a cat-like form, ranging from a house cat to a tiger.
Weapons: sickle, dark magic, shadow companion (Aesop)
Weaknesses: Pan cannot swim, so naturally she avoids water and she will begin to panic if she finds herself in water that is more than knee deep. Pan is easily upset by name-calling, especially when referring to her half-blood race, causing her to make rash decisions and rushing into a fight. She’s more brawn over brains when she gets tangled up into a fight and she is very stubborn, always hating the idea of backing down from a fight.
Description: I ain’t nobody’s slave
Personality: Because of her life of slavery, Pan is timid and submissive. Her demon blood can make it hard to calm her down once her hate and bloodlust is roused. Despite this, she retains control of her unpredictable anger when in the company of her friends. Pan doesn’t make a hobby of making friends, however, and her belief is that a small group of close friends is much better than a large group of kinda-friends. She will always regard Aesop as her closest friend, though. Pan has a very casual way of speaking, using a lot of slang words when she’s talking.
History: Pan was born a half-breed, one part human, one part devil. Her father was a high-ranking demon who took interest in a young human girl who hailed from a wealthy family and he easily wooed her with his handsome human disguise. He was unfaithful, however, and once he realized that his lover was pregnant he left her, not wanting to get caught up with a family.

When Pan was born, her mother’s family was horrified that such a creature was their descendent. Being human, thus greedy, they saw profit in the child and raised her as if she was an orphan, taken in by a wealthy family. Pan was taught skills such as cooking and cleaning that were required of slaves and when she turned seven years old Pan was sold into slavery.

The first person that bought her was a blacksmith who needed a strong assistant to keep the fires of his forge burning. Though only seven years old, Pan was more than qualified. The work was hard, but the blacksmith was very kind to her. She had a roof over her head, ate acceptable food, and her master even taught her how to wield a weapon. He was old, however, and his age forced him to retire when Pan was twelve years old and he had to sell her in order to make much needed money.

Pan was bought by a young male devil who took a strange liking to the young half-breed. He taught her the magic of the demons and through his instruction Pan successfully summoned her shadow companion. Though he was accepting of Pan’s half-blood race, he was harsh towards her and hit her often, but she stayed under his ownership until she was fifteen. One night he came onto her and Pan panicked and pushed him away. He was caught off guard and he fell backward, hitting his head hard on the stone floor. Pan didn’t think twice and she and Aesop ran as far away as she could. She never knew, but she killed her master that night.

After she escaped from slavery, she passed herself off as a full demon and began to work at another forge as an employee, not a slave.

Abilities/Strengths: Arthus is a mage who has been studying ancient magic's for years. He is a prodigy within his skill at magic and can preform spells years above his own age. He is most proficient with darkness though and wields it with utmost mastery. Arthus also is extremely quick and often sacrifices strength and stamina for blinding speed. He prefers to take out his enemys quickly and withought incident.

Weapon(s): Carrys two pistols and two curved daggers. He is proficient with both sets and is known through the land as a blinding fast warrior who dispatches enemies like a wisp of wind. He also uses diffrent magic's as a primary attack selection.

Weaknesses: Demons have a unique power over Arthus. They can force him to do things against his own will. He speant years under a powerful demons control, killing innocent farmers, or molesting young girls in front of the demon. Thus Arthus has a white hot hatred for Demons and kills them withought hesitation.

Description: I Am The Shadow That Vanquishes The Darkness

Personality: At first glance, Arthus is cold and reserved, only talking when necessary. But there is much more to the stealthy shadow than that. Inside Arthus's cold shell is a carrying man who loves lifes simple pleasures. Arthus would give his life for the rebels cause, and would sacrifice himself for any of his friends.

History: Arthus was born into a lineage of noble wizards. His father, who viewed currency and diligent study more important than his son, pushed all of his children to the limits in their studies. In turn though, Arthus became the most proggresive young wizard of his time.

When he turned eleven, a powerful demon known as Lucifer destroyed his family and home. The demon sparred Arthus though because he could sense his incredible power and ability. The demon offered Arthus a lifetime of servitude, in exchange for unlimited power. Arthus readily agreed and soon found he had gained incredible powers beyond abilitys of a human. Although the demon started making Arthus do terrible things. Arthus had already lived a life of pain before, but this torture from the demon was intolerable. At the age of twenty-three, Arthus destroyed the demon releasing his debt to the demon, although he lost his demonic powers aswell. In turn, a sinister tattoo of astral carvings appeared on Arthus's back, to remind him of his past life with the demon. Other demons can use his markings to control him, although with his strong will, only very powerful demons can control him.

After, that Arthus lived a life as a hermit, prefecting his craft as a gunman, wizard and rogue. But he soon found out about the rebels and eagerly joined. He now serves in the rebel force as a rogue aswell as protector of the L'arc.

Other: Arthus is a skilled combat medic, and can use a mix of spells and first aid to tend most any wounds.
