Hey there, and welcome to my humble -first ever!- artshop! My name is o-Raichu-o, (Captain OBVIOUS~!) but I'm also known as Raichu, (hurrhurr) Rai, Rai-Rai, Rae, or the random freebie fairy!

I've done some art before on Gaia--gifts for friends, a few contests, avatars for my friend's guild, and some lineart sets for the Breedable/Changing forum...but this is the first time I've offered my services for commission. If you're interested, read on! <3

So, here's the skinny. I AM A SEALED LETTER PACKRAT. Also, I happen to have nothing to do this Summer.

So. Want of sealed letters + Lots of free time for pencil drawings = Pencil commisions for sealed Letters. :] That's right...for now, I will ONLY be accepting Letters as payment, and ONLY for pencil sketches. However, I do believe I'm being quite fair in what I'm asking in reference to how much art you will be getting.

FOR ONE SEALED LETTER, YOU CAN GET:

TWO seperate single headshot sketches
similar to the ones you see below. You may choose to have me draw two different characters or the same character twice...or whatever you want. ;3 (...within reason. You can see the do's and don'ts at the bottom of this post). They will be slightly shaded as shown here, and, for no extra charge, you may request a little colorization (which will be added with a computer).

-OR-

ONE couple headshot/bust-ish sketch
like the last example. X3 Again, colorization is a free option.

What I WILL do: Original characters and avatars of any race, gender, and age. I LOVE UNIQUE/QUIRKY CHARACTERS! Give me something intriguing to draw, people! ;3~

What I WON'T do (for all the Tea in China!): Nudity, obscenity, crude hand gestures, blood/guts/gore, oversized breasts, fanart, real people, bodily piercings (ears are fine, of course), religious/cult symbols (crosses, pentagrams, etc.), excessively wet kissing scenes (oO in case you want a couple), Yaoi/Yuri, or offensive material. (Obviously, some of the things listed here don't even apply to headshots, so don't worry about them~)

Things I can do but have a hard time with (meaning, you can request these things, but be warned that they may not turn out well or may be eliminated if I can't make the image work): Hats, snouts (as in, anthro faces), mecha details, full lips.

Ready to order? Faaaaantastic! =D Here's what you do!:

1. Post your order. Use the following form. Remember, you get two headshots for each letter...whether you want them to be of the same character or two different characters is up to you.

User Name(s): The username(s)s of the recipient(s) of the art.
Price: -One Sealed Letter [or the eqivilant amount in gold (usually about 15K)] MUST be included in the price!-
Describe the Character(s): The more detailed you are, the closer the resulting piece will be! Reference pictures are required (at least one per character, please).
Desired Pose/[removed](s): Make sure to specify the pose/expression for BOTH headshots.
What will you use this art for? Are you giving this art as a gift? Will you use it in your signature? Or would you like to use it in a personal gallery? Knowing this helps me figure out how to draw the pieces.
Any extra requests? I'm willing to colorize the sketch and/or write any amount of text on the image with no extra charge.

2. Send the Trade.

3. Wait. I will work on your commission as inspired. You should have your image within a week, unless I am busy or am having difficulty capturing the character.

4. Confirm. Once I have made the initial sketch, I will PM you for verification with a watermarked version of your commission. I take the satisfaction of the commissioner VERY SERIOUSLY, so PLEASE let me know if there is anything I need to correct!

=> IF THERE HAPPENS TO BE SOMTHING WRONG, I will either try to adjust the image or I will simply start over. However, please note I will NOT allow you to keep the first image! This is to prevent someone from getting me to draw more art of their characters than they have actually paid for...After I have fussed with it a bit, I'll send you the new image for verification. However, if I get the vibe that you are being exceedingly picky, I won't try more than three times.

5. Finish the Trade and Enjoy! =D If everything is dandy with the commission, I will comfirm and accept the trade. The commissioner MUST finish their end before I will send the un-watermarked version of the art. (if you're concerned I'm going to just run off with your letter/gold, don't be; What would be the point, knowing I've already gone through the trouble of drawing your image(s)? =P ) When the trade is completed, your art will be availible for pick-up in the thread or via PM, whichever you prefer.
