This is a petition to make polls on the changes happening in Gaia. Many Gaians have been complaining that Gaia has been making extraordaniary changes, but not all of them are for the better. Take the new navigation for example; many members argue that it's not a lot harder than the old one. And the closing of user-own banks; a lot of members use those banks and it isn't fair for Gaia to just have them close the banks with no warning whatsoever!
Gaia should make polls to see if the majority of the members agree with their (Gaia) views on future site changes!

Q: What are you talking about? There are polls on Gaia.
A: I mean official polls; ones on the hompage regarding future changes on Gaia.
Q: What's the point? People are only going to vote for gold.
A: I think they shouldn't give out gold for these polls so it can be --uh-- "accurate".
Q: Didn't Gaia use to have those?
A: You tell me. I [vaguely] remeber seeing polls like the ones I described when I first started, but I'm not sure. I'm very forgettful.
Q: Why democracy?
A: Let me give you the definition: "...a political system in which the supreme power lies in a body of citizens..."
Q: This is pointless..
A: Well, that's your opinion. I'm not going to be a hypocrite and say "you have no right to say that". I just think that with these polls, Gaians will not complain so much and the Gaia Staff wouldn't get so much headaches from their complaints.

Hmm, This is very interesting... They DID have something like this back in the old Gaian days... but it was often broken and hardly accurate ...
If they did come out with a system like this, I feel that they should have something to prevent issues like mule account's, and also spam voting for gold (Which is why I agree with you not wanting to have gold given)
I feel it would be also more effective if there was a decent system.
Like this, Gaians' whom have been around longer should have a different Voting poll then Gaian's whom have only been around maybe a Year or a few months...
How would they be able to tell, Well obviously the Join dates. I know it's a bit O' Discrimination, but honestly, I don't want some one who joined "TODAY" to be allowed to vote for something that could be a major change on the Site. Because frankly, They have no idea what there voting on...(this would also prevent Mules from causing allot of damage... well some)
Now I'm not saying they "CAN'T" Vote until a certain amount of time passes (or maybe I am XD), But perhaps there could be two poll's, One for the users whom have been around at least a Year, enough to see SOME changes, and then another for the newer users, just for good measure...
