Welcome Traveler! You have somehow found yourself in the Manna Garden II, what luck you have! Feel free to look around! Don't start if you see shimmers in the air, its probably just one of the more playful Manna saying hello!

Note: All of the info on Manna was taken from the Original Manna Garden, owned by Rococo. All the Lineart was done by her originally... She gave it and the shop to me.

"The Manna are a quiet, shy and loyal species, which are hardly visible to the human eye. Have you ever seen, out of the corner of your eye, what looks like a faint glitter, a slight twitching of the air? Well, you've just seen a manna. These creatures are only truely visible to a very distinct, cetain type of person - those with magic in their blood.
-These people, however, are few and hard to find. Because of this, the manna are almost unheard of to mankind - they have become somethign amongst those able to control magic that is seen as being unimportant - a pest - anda over time, they have gradually turned into something that is hunted, both for their sweet flesh and for their incredibly soft fur. They have started to become incredibly rare due to this ...
-Eventually, it was decided that something had to be done to stop this beautiful race of creatures from being wiped out completely - so, a safe sanctuary has been set up to keep them from harm, and where no people are allowed to enter, appart from after the mannas' breeding time to collect their eggs. A special type of leaf has been developed which, when eaten, will cause a Manna to be visible by any human, thus making them much easier to keep track of, and also much easier for them to find eachother!
-This scheme has become incredably succesful, to the extent that there are now too many Manna to be kept there! So, this is why the Manna Garden is looking for kind Gaians to adopt and look after some of these extraordinary creatures!

The Manna have regal heads with large, bright eyes, a muzzle much like a cat's, and long, almost rabbit-like ears. They are unusual in that they have relatively strong front legs, but no back legs at all - their lower body is much like that of a seal, though it is held more elegantly. Possibly their most appealing feature is their soft, feathered wings, which are tiny on cubs but grow to be quite large on adults, with long tapered feathers. Every Manna has a unique pattern and colours formed in it's soft fur; most Manna have longer fur on the top of their heads, much like a mane.
They are, naturally, very shy and nervous creatures, though loyal - after they have seen that their owner is trustworthy, and with a bit of love and care, they can become excellent pets and companions!"

This is our model, my own Manna Nowaina showing the stages of the species...
Normally you will find/recieve your Manna as an egg, which- through some care- will hatch into their cute 'Cub' form. As a cub they are frequent sleepers, and not very trusting to others at the start. You have to socialize with you Manna, and help them trust you and others. As adults they don't sleep nearly as much, and can 'Shimmer' from place to place!

Rules and Getting a Manna

Ok.. We knew these were comming!
1. Follow all Gaia rules
2. Watch the language! I MEAN IT!
3. No Fighting/Begging/Bashing amongst owners or visitors!
4. Don't ask owners for a free egg/cub/adult Manna...
5. Do not ask how to get a pet, refer to the front page and READ.

Things of Note:
1. Manna are not Rp Required...
2. Rp is requested...

Methods of Getting a Manna:
1. Flatsale: You post the egg number, and your name. If you are OKed as the Owner, send the trade and info to the Mule. No Muss, No Fuss....
2. Auction: You bid the higest amount (barring sniper bidding) and you win.
3. Giveaway: Pretty Self Explanatory, and EXTREMELY rare.
4. Pet Trade: Lat LOVES pet Trades... See the info in the Pet Trade Post... ^.^
