Dream of Light...
...Everyday you fake a smile as he walks past
Your best friend with his new lover in her arms
Jealousy swells up inside as they smile and laugh
But you back down and only wish them the best
You dream of his arms wrapped around you in a loving embrace
But instead you get to hear how much he loves her
And how happy they are together
You look up at him with pleading eyes, hoping he'll see the truth

A teardrop slowly falls as you walk away
He calls out your name but you can't stop

As he lets go you wipe the tears from your eyes
