EDIT (teachers please read!) : Due to the fact that only two people have asked for help within the last month or so, I'm closing down Homework Helpers. If anyone would like to take this idea and try and get it started up again, fell free to do so, but PLEASE consult with me first. Thank you for your time and understanding.

Hello everyone! Looking for quality help for your homework? Need a few pointers on that project? Then you have come to the right place!

What We Can Do For You


You may be thinking: Homework? I have homework! But can these guys really help me with what I need?

Your answer: Yes! We cover almost every area of homework, from Spanish class to that nasty English project you have to make.

WARNING: We will NOT do your home FOR you! We are here only to HELP. There is a thing now called academic dishonesty. If we do the work for you and your teacher realizes, you may get in trouble. I do not know how your schools may work, but at mine if you are caught doing this 3 times, you can get expelled.

Art Helpers:

Washu_Takahashi: Washu is very good in art. She has taken art all her life and has so far taken Art 2D and 3D in High School. If you want some ideas for what to do with that next project, she's the person to ask!

KuraiKitty: Kurai is currently enrolled in Interactive Animation (a course equivalent to Art and Animation 5-6), and can effectively give out pointers concerning anatomy, basics of animation, and how to make drawings 'pop'. If you don't want to use basic shapes, though, look elsewhere, as I'm virtually indebted to them when it comes to increasing my art capabilities.

Twilight_Fears: Twilight is finishing an independent drawing course and has successfully completed design. He is more than willing to help and give out some pointers!

Sunnith: Sunnith has been drawing since she was in diapers if that's any indication of how important art has been to her. There's really never been a school year where she hasn't studied art. She successfully completed 4 years of adv/AP art in high school and finished a course on printmaking her first semester of college. If not for her love of Japanese, she would have gone to an art school.


Computer Helpers:

Twilight_Fears: Twilight has completed Exploring the Internet which teaches basic HTML skills. If you need help on your homework for computer class, or just need some help making a website of your own, talk to Twilight!

Lady_Jaime: Jaime is in a Desktop Multimedia design class and is also ahead in that class as well. She can help with computer art composition for things like fliers, letterheads, certificates, etc as well. She will be taking Web Design over the summer, and has been dealing with HTML (about 6 years) and CSS (about 4 years) in her works.

Scarlett_r: Reina is very good with Photoshop, and can help you with most of your needs concerning that program.

BlingKitten: Bling is currently in a Web Design class, and has learned nearly everything there is to know about HTML, and she loves it, writing HTML is one of her favorite things. Soon she will also start learning CSS as well, she cannot wait.

English/Language Arts/Reading Helpers:

Washu_Takahashi: Washu is in Honors I English at the moment. She is quite good at coming up with original storylines for creative writing pieces and things like that. She can also help with paper organization. For example, if you have to give a report on a certain person or something like that, Washu can help you with research and where to put what in your paper. Washu may also edit your works.

[Juice.Box.Whore]: Juice Box is currently in English II and Creative Writing II, and will be going into English III Honors next year. She is VERY good with grammar and parts of speech, and can do very well with poetry.

KuraiKitty: Kurai's currently enrolled in Literature and Communications, as well as Creative Writing. She's been role playing for three years and writing stories for two, and is rather adept at implementing metaphors into written works. However, poetry is not Kurai's strongest field.

Lady_Jaime: Jaime can offer suggestions on papers and perhaps help with giving ideas for the paper. She has read a few books that the schools assign and can also help with the higher level thinking questions.

dieux: Di is one of the top in his year level when it comes to English - be it Grammar, Literature or Speech. He is always one of the top debaters in his class as well. He was his Class' representative for his school's 'LitQuiz' wherein I won second place. And lastly, he is the vice president of his school's writing club - both prose and poetry works of his have been published on a few magazines. He also wrote the winning script for his school's inter-class drama contest.

BlingKitten: Bling is an avid poet and enjoys being grammatically correct, she also loves to read and is always happy to read over an essay and give grammar and puctuation tips.

French Helpers:

Dawn Crest: Dawn has been taking French for five years now. She is almost fluent in the language, and has an A in her class along with a GCSE.

slimshayda2005: Shayda is in Fench 2 right now and passing with flying colors. She's more than willing to help anyone she can!

German Helpers:

Dawn Crest: Dawn has been taking German for three years now. She is doing very well in her class, and has a GCSE.

Lady_Jaime: Jaime is taking German 1 and is ahead of the rest of her class. She also has friends that live in Germany, so if she cannot answer your question, she has friends who can help her to help you. She's currently running her own foreign language guild and is one of the few German speakers there.

BlingKitten: Bling is ending her 5th year in German class, she has placed high on the national test that is given every year. She adores the German language and tends to form answers in German first and then in English.

Japanese Helper(s):

Sunnith: Sunnith has studied 4 years of Japanese in high school, along with being put into 2nd year Japanese in the college and attending. She also visited Japan for a month two summers ago.

Latin Helper(s):

Twilight_Fears: Twilight has completed Latin, and did rather well in the class. If you are taking Latin, Twilight is ready to help you out!

Math Helper(s):

Washu_Takahashi: Washu is in Honors Geometry right now. She can do anything up to that level, or below it. This includes any grade-school or junior high school level math, along with Algebra I and Geometry.

azureus_glider: Altarya's mother is an eleventh grade geometry teacher and together they both can help at any type of problem or equation Geometry and even higher up.

Monkey Demon: Monkey is in Algebra I right now. He can do anything below high school level.

Scralett_r: Reina is currently taking pre-calculus at university and has had very good grades so far. However, she is not very good with verbal problems or geometry.

BlingKitten: Bling is currently in Pre Calculus, but only feels safe helping out with math up to Algebra. She finds algebra exceedingly easy, and she challenges you to give her a challenging problem!

P.E. Helper(s):

Monkey Demon: Monkey is really good at basketball, soccer, and lacrosse. He's also pretty good in gym all around and can give you any advice you may need!

Science Helper(s):

Washu_Takahashi: Washu is in Honors Biology right now. This means she can help with any grade school and junior high level sciences, along with Biology.

KuraiKitty: Kurai has taken (and passed) AP Biology with a score of 4, and excels in Anatomy and Physiology at her High School. Any questions involving macromolecules, though, will have to be directed elsewhere, as that was my least favorite aspect of the class. Because of her work at her local Aquarium, she's also quite knowledgeable about fish and marine life.

BlingKitten: Bling works for the Natural Science department at school and can tell you just about anything you need to know about it, she also has a fairly broad knowledge of Chemistry and Biology and would be more than happy to share her knowledge with you.

Spanish Helper(s):

Washu_Takahashi: Washu is in Spanish 2 herself right now, if you're above that, it may not be too wise to ask her for help. She can currently work with present tense, and most past tense. If you need some help figuring out what goes where in a sentence, or you just need some translating help, feel free to call upon her!

azureus_glider: Our Spanish genius! XD Okay, maybe not exactly, but close enough. Altarya lives in Puerto Rico and the native language is Spanish so she's fluent in it!

slimshayda2005: Shayda is a fluent Spanish speaker, so any tough questions can be directed at her, along with your easier to answer questions as well.

Scarlett_r: Reina is a fluent Spanish speaker from Puerto Rico, so any tough questions can be directed at her, along with your easier to answer questions as well.

Social Studies Helpers:

Washu_Takahashi: Washu has learned everything up to High School level. She is currently in a class that teaches about ancient civilizations. She can help you research people and events for projects, as well as helping you organize your paper.

[Juice.Box.Whore]: Juice took World History this year, and is going into American Government Honors next year. She's incredibly good with dates and times, especially anything in Ancient Egypt.

dieux: Di is what people like to call, a history-geek. He loves anything to do with History, culture, and people, making him somewhat of a geek on the subject. He specializes in topics concerning politics and personalities. He had his Academic Paper, "Louis XVII: Death by Revolution", chosen as the best paper on the side of Social Studies. Asian History is also something he's extremely good at, seeing as he lives in Asia, and they teach them those things from their elementary years onward.

Pricing


Prices will mainly depend on what you want help with. If you require a lot of help, such as private lessons or help with research, you will be charged somewhere between 1 thousand to 3 thousand gold. If you just need some translating help or editing, you will have to pay somewhere between 200 and 1 thousand gold. If you just want someone to talk with about your teachers, the price will be 200 gold. Your helper will decide on the final prices.

Homework Helpers is currently LOOKING for employees. However, we are now only accepting more qualified teachers. You must be at least a Freshman in High School, and you need to have other good qualifications. If you think you think you will not meet our expectations, please do not bother to apply. (Not trying to scare the more qualified people away though!)

How you will be paid:

You are paid by what you actually DO. Since you will set the final price on any help, you should have a pretty good eximate of what you will be paid. As the teacher you will get 85% of the earnings for each teaching. The other 15% you will send to me, and it will go into expanding Homework Helpers.
