Come on in to our wonfubteristicniscient freebie thread!! It is so great that I had to make up a word just to explain it D:
This isn't just one of those temporary freebie threads that only last for 1-5 days, this one is permanent!! (good news for you)
All four of us have worked hard to make this place organized and eye appealing, just so terrific people will be attracted to it.

Here's a little background information:
We are all good friends in real life, not just four random artists who met on Gaia. We stick up for each other and want respect from anyone in here (its a rule!) >w<
We support good conversations and crazy activity! The purpose of this art thread was to meet many great people and to draw when we have random impulses D:
All four of us will try to keep as active as possible to make sure that our thread will not die. Worse comes to worse it will just be the four of us chatting to each other xD

Tetra Pak is a different type of freebie thread. We don't want people announcing that they want art from us. Our philosophy is that if you constantly stick around and chat it is a given that you want art from us, no need to ask.
Therefore, this thread doesn't have a "waiting list". This means that you have no idea whether or not we want to draw you. You just need to check the front page to see if you have received art. (evil? no.... xD)

Well that's enough for an intro right? Lets get on to the important stuff you have to read!

Do NOT beg anyone here about art

If we have deemed you worthy of our art, you will be drawn

There's no need to ask for art.

By posting, it's sorta a given that you are here for art. xD

Tolerance

Not everyone will have the same views or opinions on stuff. Some are even egotistical and annoying. We, the artists, will deal with whatever problems may arise. Cause a commotion or hurt anyone else in any way, shape, or form and you're probably never going to get any art.

That's all I can think of for now. More rules will be added or changed as this thread progresses. ;3

Gaian out of my four friends so if
you hang at the Free Art Forum a lot there is a high
chance that you have met me already!!! D:

I've been to a lot of other free art threads and I
have a very good idea of what I want this
thread to be like. I want this thread to have lots
of people chit chatting in it even when none of
the artists are online! That shows true dedication
which is something I want.
You can try to bribe me with donations, but it most
likely won't guarantee you art. Of course I do love gold
and donations will make me consider drawing you ^^
I also love avatar art of my character, so drawing
me will also increase your chances! I guarantee nothing
though, so please don't complain if you drew and donated
but didn't get a drawing!

about me Status - In need of simple avatars.
Hello there.

I am 'kiwi' of Tetra Pak. (It's a rather exotic flavour for a juice box, don't you think? xD ) In any case, here I go: I'm a rather lazy person but I love to draw and doodle whenever my creative muse should strike me. However, my muse is rather fickle at times.

This, of course, is no good for commissions. I actually had a shop at one time but I procrastinated like hell at times. Nonetheless, I had a lot of good experiences while doing commissions.

But to the important part: why I am here. I started Gaia here over two years ago and I had lots of fun. I stuck to Gaia because of the Art Freebies forum and everyone who was so cool here. x3

It's almost like I'm returning to my roots. 8D

how to get art off of me:
Bad news for you, I'm choosey. I draw when I feel like it, I draw who I want, when I want, how I want. You could get anything from a scribble or doodle to a full-blown CG-ed piece (though that's rare). I can do computer or pencil doodles, computer sketches, pencil sketches, computer lineart, and sometimes CG.

Mind you, there is not real set way to get art from me. But there are ways of increasing your chances... [hinthint]

My number one pet peeve: asking a particular artist to be drawn,
even if you're asking me. I hate, hate, hate favouritism. It's free art, damnit. Just be happy with whatever you get. <<; </rant>

I'm a sucker for really good avatars. xD It doesn't have to be expensive. I like interesting colour combinations or an original use of certain items that spark my interest.
Try to be semi-literate
I'm not going to pick on your English or anything because I know not everyone knows English very well, but some effort to make your posts understandable would definitely help.

Just a heads up though. Bribery or flattery doesn't work on me. I decide whether or not I draw you based on random impulses so don't bug me. ;_; Another thing - I'm just a high school student and I have stuff to do too. So I may not be able to get on Gaia for days at a time (as addicting as it is...).

My Nitpicks - REEEAAAAD!!! Dx

Be LITERATE. I cannot stress this enough, I hate taking several minutes just to understand what people are typing. D=
Do not beg me. DO NOT PM ME ASKING FOR ART.
Please don't whine if you aren't given a freebie. I'm a high school student, I've got homework and extra curriculars that can be very time consuming.
I'm biased, I can't help it, there are some things I like more than others. I do NOT like drawing:
- Avatars with a lack of hair (bald spots)
- Masks, general alterations to the face
- ALL black or cluttered avatars
Most of my freebies will be computer sketches, probably tinted to match your avatar's colour scheme.
I will only do CURRENT avatars.
Talk to me whenever I happen to be online! Socializing won't hurt. xD
When you do receive a freebie, please save it to your own host.
Tips are very much appreciated. n__n;
Failure to follow the rules of our thread will result in me getting annoyed and/or pissed off. Me getting annoyed and/or pissed off will result in you getting no art. So please take heed of all rules.

. I'm the 'lichi' of the tetra (for those who don't know...actually just search google. xD). I am indecisive, which may be a bad thing if people are looking art from me (I'm not sure who would though. Bleh...? ~>_<~ ). I rarely go on Gaia, simply because I'm 'newb' (hi, take a look at my avatar! ^_^ -waves-).

. I don't get angry easily- unless you made a bad impression on me...then I can get mad at you VERY easily. xDD...>_>.

. My favourite colour is white (because I think any colour matches it~ hoho~) so if your avatar is white-ish (angel stuff, maybe?) then I'll like it. <3.

Right. So to the really important points.

FIRST AND FOREMOST: I'm sorry people, I ONLY DO PENCIL ART. I can NOT CG for any amount of money... There's a 70% chance I shade with Photoshop (yeah, it's a waste- so what >_> wink but I don't colour with it. It will turn out ugly.

- Uhm...there really isn't anything you can do to "get art off me". Gold works, yes. (I'm not as noble as the other 3, xP) But I've actually REALLY tried to draw this avatar once, regardless of the money, and I have not came up with ONE satisfactory result. So yes, I do believe in "fate" for drawing to some degree. I just can't draw some avatars...

- I probably won't draw cluttered avatars. Not unless you're really nice and you stick around and talk. >_>.

- I have to like your avatar. If I don't like it, I can't draw it. Sorry. (But don't worry. I really don't have a problem with most avatars -in fact I never had one- But just in case I meet one I do...
