Because of lack of people, and because I no longer have any real interest in this thread anymore, I'm closing it doooooooown. Sorry for the inconvenience, and maybe one day I'll remake this roleplay after changing some things to make it more interesting so that more people could join and remain loyal to the rp.

Story and Settiings
The wilderness grows dark as the sun begins to sleep but is illuminated by the symbol of evil.
All that is reality ceases and the laws of man break; creatures of the night live in a somewhat peaceful, unknown world called Fraydle.
This world is like another Earth, only it is forever night. Time is measured by the cycles of 3 moons: Red, Violet/Purple, and Silver. During each moon, certain shifts occur in the behaviors of the nocturnal creatures of this world, which will be explained in better detail below.
Fraydle is subtly ruled by the few elites called Elders which consist of the original kings of all the creatures. The Elders are bound to this alternate world by forces of the reality which man created: false messiahs. Each Elder represents every false messiah the humans create, and remain for all eternity as gods in Fraydle, appearing as powerful wraiths. Fortunately for most, these powerful wraiths have been in hibernation for centuries, and are believed to continue their long slumbering for more centuries to come...though this has changed as of late...
Vampires are the advanced, more powerful of the lower creatures. Their bodies are dead, but new forms of magic are in the process of being created to allow them fertility, though this is not widely known yet. Vampires rule most lands as warlords and nobles, and it is foolish to rebel against them. One must understand that a simple bite from a vampire will not change them into one; it is a very long and painful process with changing a human into a vampire, that involves the transfusion of the blood of the damned. (Just remember that XP). As far as the moon cycles go, a very rare sickness occurs in every vampire's life, at least once (like chicken pox), and it's called Vampiritis. Symptoms vary, but it is mostly characterized by a sudden fever(yes, strange and almost impossible for a vampire, I know), uncontrollable coughing, and even seizures at times. It begins an hour before the rising of the red moon, and if the vampire survives it, it ends when the red moon's light shines on the victim. During the Violet and Silver moons, vampires are normal in behavior.
Lycans are the wildest and most out-of-control of the creatures; able to spread their disease by just a single scratch. They usually lurk in the shadows of most cities, or some prefer to remain in clans within the dense giant forests outlining the cities. They have the ability to shift into a human-like form during the Red moon, though they tend to go into hibernation during the Violet moon. In the Silver moon, they seem to become more violent and impatient than ever, possibly due to the agitation the silver-ish lighting brings to them.
Mutants are the slaves of vampires, along with Humans who're usually smuggled out of the Earth realm and sold to vampires as slaves. Mutants do not have specific characteristics, due to the many variations in their kind, but they all do carry a certain scent, and every mutant is born in captivity, and therefore have a certain form of branding on them to show they are mutants and that they belong to a certain vampire lineage (Ex// tattoos, piercings, marks). Mutants are immune to the blood of vampires and the dangerous disease of the lycans, and the 3 moons usually have no effect on their behavior or well being (though there could be a few exceptions). There have been instances where mutants escape from their vampiric masters, but they often never survive over a week in the wilderness.
Crylites are the outcasts living in the slums of abandoned cities, or in territories of their own in the forests and oceans. They have MANY different species among them, but these creatures are basically a variation of mutants, only they don't have brandings. ’Crylite’ is basically the name given to those creatures similar to mutants, and half breeds. Creatures such as Gargoyles, and even the occasional dragon have often been seen and labeled as Crylite. (So basically, if you're not a Lycan, or a human, or Vampire, and you're not in service to a Vampire by being a branded mutant, you're a Crylite. Also if you're a hybrid of sorts. In relation to mutants, you can think of it in this analogy: a mutant is to a crylite as a domesticated dog is to a wolf or a wild dingo. Got it? =P)
Many humans from man's reality are stolen in the night (By special Crylites called 'The Unknowns” ) and are brought to this world of strange nightly creatures, often served as food or sold as lower forms of slaves. They are considered the lowest creatures, save for dirt and wild animals in the forests and oceans, in Fraydle.
As for the geography of Fraydle, there are many different cities and areas dotted along the terrain. However, there are a few main ones that every roleplayer should be familiar with:
--Seth: The western city of bones. This city once flourished with life, and was of course run by Vampires many ages ago. Some sort of Cataclysm happened, leaving the city in destruction. Now, all that remains is rubble, and this place now creeps with the lowest of Crylites; the ones desperate enough to eat even their own species.
--Azul: This underwater city belongs to a group of Crylites often called mer-people. They have the ability to shift their fins and gills in order to survive on land, should they need to, but they mostly keep to themselves unless summoned by a Warlord.
-- Cairo : Much like the name implies, this golden city is themed after Egypt from Earth; all the vampires and their servants dressed in Egyptian attire, though not following the beliefs of the ancient Egyptians. A vampiric queen rules here, and has done so for hundreds of years.
-- The Giant Forest: This forest lives up to it's name, the trees and animals that dwell here being almost 5 times as big as the trees on Earth. Some clans of Lycans thrive here as well.
--Krell Mountains: This mountain range was home to a vast variety of creatures over the centuries, including but not limited to: Gargoyles, Dragons, and even some Draconians who dug a series of tunnels within and beneath the mountains, creating the perfect setting for a city to be built. A Vampire now rules here as well.
((Well, my imagination juices are running low at the moment, so I'll make up more places when the ideas come to mind.))

Current Plot:
]Though the world has shifted much by the Elder’s hands, a new monster has come into the picture. The Hatter. To explain things in simple details, he wishes to cause everyone suffering because of the fact that he thrives off of pain and any kind of energy void of happiness or content. Like how the population of humans came to be in Fraydle, this strange being steals all races and takes them to an alternate reality of Fraydle, almost as though the world was torn straight from a storybook. Why does he still these people up and take them to another dimension? Because the Elders have no control over his dimension, and once his victims are in his world, he can cause all the pain and suffering to them to his heart’s desire. How do we stop this evil being? Are there any allies in this strange new realm that can help us bring him down and take us back home to Fraydle? And what are the Elders going to do about it, since they have been awakened again to assist the world of Fraydle? We’ll just have to see as time progresses.

Rules:
1) You're able to make as many characters as you're able to handle. Just make sure, to prevent confusion; you use different texts/colors for the characters. Or at least bold the name so we can know who is doing what >.<
2) If you get left behind, just PM me and I'll catch you up as best as I can. Or, you can simply come here to the OOC and ask anyone.
3) Please, don't godmod unless I give you permission to. The only types of characters I'm allowing godmodding for are the Elders, but they hardly make an appearance, anyways. I choose the Elders, because I am Goddess here, of course.
4) I understand that when writer's block occurs, it leads to one-liners. But please, writer's block gets contagious after a while of just straight one-liners >.<, so please try to post at least 2-3 or more, or if you're going to do a one-liner, make sure it's something we're able to respond to, to get you out of your writer's block.
5) As mentioned before, I am Goddess here, so what I say goes. I hate it when conflicts arise between roleplayers, so just remain civil when it happens, and come to me when you have a problem with something.
6) If you have suggestions as far as the plot goes or anything like that, feel free to tell me about them. I'm always open for new ideas and such.
7) Do whatever it takes (besides godmodding >.< ) to enjoy yourself here and have fun!
8 ) Please be at least Semi-literate. Post in 3rd person, and no action (*) based posts. If you are to talk in OOC, please let us know you are doing so by typing in parenthesis (()), or by typing OOC before your statement.
9) If you wish to join, please send me a PM telling me so, and I MUST receive a sample of your literacy. Type NinjaVamp somewhere in the PM to let me know you've read these rules. Images off the Internet(search engines) are preferred, but if you're going to type out your description, please let it be very detailed. 1 or 2 sentences just won't do it.
10) No spamming, bumping, or begging for gold in here. That's what the chatterbox is for.
11) Please don't stretch the page. It gets really annoying with having to scroll over to read posts.
***12) Alright, I’ve seen this happen a lot and well…I’ve been a victim of it myself ^.^; . Fellow roleplayers, if you see that the roleplay is getting rather…slow, and that you and one/two other people are the only ones actually posting, please show some courtesy (yes, even if other people in the RP have nothing to do with you characters), and pause until you get some form of word saying why everyone else is falling behind. It gets frustrating (let alone, kind of annoying), when others have to read back through pages and pages of posts only between two characters. Show some courtesy, please >.< ***
That’s all for now, but I shall add more, should I see it fit to do so.

Profile Skeleton:
Gaian Name:
Character's Name:
Race: (your race determines where you stand in the system of Fraydle, if you haven’t noticed already)
Age:
Appearance: (Image or an in-depth description {i.e. hair color, eye color, skin color, stature, height, weight, clothing, etc})
Sexual Orientation:
Job: (If you’re in a city, this can be anything like a blacksmith, a guardsman, a bounty hunter, a slave-catcher, race hunter(most likely lycans since they're loco, hehe), etc. If you’re in a clan outside the city, then think of certain positions that would be assigned in a clan, like Chief, healer, hunter, etc. If you’re a slave, then that would be your job, obviously XP. If you’re a vampire, I’m pretty sure they have to have a career somewhere to help pay for those large mansions they have and their slaves gotta eat!)
Bio: (Doesn't have to be too detailed, especially since some of us like mystery, but you have to tell at least a little something something. A paragraph [5-6 sentences] is the minimum.)
Weapon: (If available)
Other:

Updates:
All righty. This is where I'll post any new updates or anything to that nature. Once again, you may want to check this first post every so often to make sure you're kept up-to-date.
1) I am combining this thread with another thread, to make things a little more interesting. Though the two threads are nowhere connected plot wise, you can still join the other IF AND ONLY IF the owner, Arounddarkness, accepts you. Understand that these are totally different plot-lines, but the other roleplay is cool too. So, when this thread is moving a little sluggish, you'll have the other to go to.
Here's the link to the thread in which I speak of. It's titled: Vampire, Mages, Humans.
http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12476446&page=1
2) This roleplay now has a joined OOC thread with VMH, which is very helpful for those who get left behind and are wondering what's new, and also for those who just want to chat/hangout OOC. It also serves as a place to develop plots and accept new characters. If you don't feel like pming me to ask to join, you can simply post your profile and intro in the OOC thread and I'll read it as soon as possible. If I'm not there, certain people can and may accept you, because I gave them permission to do so (those people know who they are). So, instead of posting, "Uhhh...What's going on?", here on this thread, you can simply go to the OOC thread and ask there. That's what the OOC thread is for. I'm pretty sure someone will explain it to you sooner or later. So, without further ado, here's the link to the OOC Thread. Please remember to add this thread to your subscriptions. Make a Post In The OOC Thread To Let Me Know You read This!

3) As of now, I've decided to make it my business to post the events of what happened in this Roleplay in the OOC thread. Sometimes this thread does jump up a few pages, and people often get left behind. At the end of each day, I'll make a post in the OOC, telling what happened in the Roleplay so that everyone would understand where we are and how we got there. Sometimes I may do it in the morning when I wake up and no one's on, but either way, it'll be there for you. It's not going to be on the first page, so you'll have to search the most recent pages of the OOC Thread to find my post. I'll even make finding the post easy for you, by titling it The Fraydle News Report. If you have any questions about this, PM me and I'll do my best to answerAlso, if you have any ideas for the plot, feel free to voice them in the OOC Thread. If you haven't noticed already, I sort of don't have a plot sweatdrop . So, any ideas would be helpful.
4) I know this thread has been down for quite some time, but it will be reopening VERY soon now. Because of how busy my life and the others in this RP is about to become, I am no longer able to do the news reports, though I will still try to help those who fall behind. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Banners:
This is where I will post my banner, and banners of other roleplays 3nodding . So if you would like for me to host your roleplays or guilds, let me know and I will gladly post them here. Oh, and if I really like your Roleplay, I'll also post your banner here as well.

Annnnnnd now we're ready to begin. As I've stated before, Have fun, and please be AT LEAST Semi-Literate 3nodding heart
