This thread is a private roleplay thread for Phase Two of the Fa'e Lost Children Contest. Please do not post here unless you are one of the participants listed below! The rules of this phase of the contest can be found here with additional information here for your reference.

You have until February 1st to complete this RP! Please do your very best to do five RP posts apiece, following the post order you set. Remember to keep checking back and post as promptly as you can when it's your turn!

Group #5 Participants: Kyoupiruchi (Junichi), Nessylove (Guelherme), Saede (Skule).

Post Order: Saede, Nessylove, Kyoupiruchi

Prompt: The lost Fa'e and their Guardians have been retrieved from their respective worlds and brought to Gaia by Airi. However, a member of Chaos' Legion has been waiting for the new arrivals, and as Airi leads the group to Fa'e HQ, the twisted creature attacks!

... Specifically, it attacks in the form of Xochitl's pink elephant toy, now possessed and forced into a grotesque and terrible life-size. The monstrosity lunges for Airi, and manages to squish her down beneath its horrible blotched rump. Airi vanishes, whether by her own choice or someone else's magic it is not clear... and the posessed plushie turns on the Lost Children and their Guardians.

What do you do?

Notes: The setting is in front of Fa'e HQ - basically grass, somewhat withered from winter frost, and a dirt path. The weather is chilly, but not freezing, and somewhat overcast. The time is mid-afternoon.

The monster will attack using basic physical attacks and brute force, no magic or other powers - solely strength. It is big (since it is an elephant and all) and surprisingly fast, and strong... but it's not incredibly smart. Not dumb as a post, but nobody's going to admit it into Mensa anytime soon. It will direct its attacks primarily towards the Fa'e, not so much the Guardians. If you run, it will give chase.

You are permitted to play the opponent and to determine when (and if!) it drops, but remember not to godmod - it will take some kind of concerted effort to take the thing down. Don't expect to recieve high points if your Fa'e downs it in one hit before anyone else gets a chance, for example!
"Did you just let a elephant sit on the Goddess!?" The words were directed at the two young males in the party- the other "Fay" as the Goddess had called them before she was sat upon. Skule was quite frankly enraged and obviously not at the elephant. As far as she was concerned, the possessed toy really had no choice about what it was and so far it was doing a good job. The men though, the ones that should have been protecting the Goddess who was gracious enough to take them to the "Gay-Ah" place, were beyond useless. They had just stood there as the creature descended onto the blonde lady, their brains apparently blown by anything that pink being that cruel and unusual. "Why did you do that?!"

Despite Skule pinning the blame as soon as possible, as far as she could tell it seemed as though the Goddess had disappeared on her own accord as the elephant tried to destroy her. Regrettably, for very clear reasons, that only mildly relieved the Huldra incarnate. There was still a lumbering elephant that very well could be thinking of who it next wanted to squash. Skule was not about to stand around and find out. Pulling up the hem of her skirt, the girl began to hastily backtrack away from the toy-turned-terror.

This was not exactly what she had expected when the Goddess came to her and offered a chance to understand her past. Skule, having grown up in various army camps during a time of war, had really gone through enough danger for one lifetime. The last thing she needed was to be beaten black and blue by a child's plaything.

"A pachyderm," the female that had been traveling with Skule acknowledged. Daisy had been one of the three Head Commanders of Central Emacir's ground troops and was Skule's not-entirely-suitable guardian. Instead of retreating as her adopted daughter had, she hesitantly pulled out her pistol from its holster. If her suspicions were correct, a bullet or two would probably not take down something made of fabric, stuffing, and a whole lot of unjustified rage. "Perhaps we should retreat."

Cuddly Hunter

Too. Gods-blasted. COLD! The ethereally pretty angel fêmea had not warned him that this planet had only one sun. Guelherme could hardly believe how increasingly frozen and barren this place was. No lush greenery, no colorful birds soaring overhead, and the small mammals that rushed from tree to tree, daring you to catch them if only you could. None of that!

From a jungle native, on a planet with three suns, this place was downright icelandic. That was the only thought the serpentine youth could think of as he stiffly followed Airi. Well. Not the only thought. But most of those thoughts were expressed vocally and bitterly by his priestess. As she opened her mouth yet again, Guelherme was thanking the gods in the heavens that none of the estrangeiros he was with understood his language!

"Why? Why did you bring me to this blasted frozen rock to rot away from my temple? Great gods, why have you forsaken me?!

Though he was fairly sure they could hear the whine. The looks coming in their direction weren't the warm welcome he was quite expecting. Not that he could truly complain. It may have been cold, but neither was he as frozen as his guardian. No, the flame kept his ears warm, at least, and somewhere the little blonde had found him a warm overcoat to protect his scales from the frost.

In fact, he was so concerned with keeping himself warm, and wondering what the hell had brought him here, that he barely noticed the reason for the commotion. Or cared. Of course, having his ear snagged by dagger sharp nails and being thrust foward in front of the squat Indiamara woke him up rather quickly.

"Fiho de puta." Son of a b***h. While not unused to seeing malevolent beings, the giant pink....whatever that thing was was entirely new! What the heck was he supposed to do about it? Run? Distract it? Wait, what was that scream?

It was in English, that was for sure. And he barely understood the dialect the girl his age was yelling at him in. "Goddess? There is no goddess here girl. And you blame myself for this monstrosity? Are you insane?! Not even I have power of this sort!" She must be some poor servant of the angel, mentally deficient from birth. Poor thing.

Speaking of the angel...what had happened to her? She seemed to have vanished. Did the diabo eat her? Crap.

"We should attack the thing. Make it give us back the angel fêmea! Airi." Struggling briefly with the language, and his malformed tongue, he tried to spit the words out properly. "Get her back!" Speaking of her...where was Mara?

Turning to look back at his 'mother', he noticed she had gotten as far away as she could from the group, and was huddled on the side of the road. In her hands she held her prayer beads, and poor Guelherme could barely make out what she was saying.

"Please, great gods, deuses grandes, spare me! Kill the boy, kill his heathen companions, but spare me, your beloved priestess!

Oh. Great.
Skule was right. For a good ten seconds, during the time when they first set eyes on the pink monstrosity, to the part where Airi disappeared after the monster attempted to sit on her, and finally to the second right now when the giant toy is charging towards him. Junichi just stood there, frozen in place with his mouth wide open. He couldn't hear Skule's words, nor did he noticed what was the other Fa'e doing. His mind was just blank. It all happened so fast that he wasn't able to digest the visuals he saw properly and decide on what to do. But he know one thing for sure, if he don't get out of it's way right now he was going to be flatten into a pancake! He had seen elephants on rampage before in the world where he came from, and to be landed between it's feet is not one of Junichi's death wish.

Just as the monster was about 10 feet away and approaching, Junichi took a giant leap towards his left to avoid being rammed into, and fall flat onto the soft grass. Spitting out some grass that got into his mouth, Junichi got up as soon as he regained his balance and saw the giant elephant toy turned around after missing him entirely. "Think something quick you a*****e! I still want this body intact when I get it!" A voice rasped in his head, "Shut up Jayoku, I'm trying!!"

Truth to be told, he don't know what to do. But a sudden realization hit him. "Where is Remmy?" He wondered out loud as he peeled his eyes off the pink monster for a few seconds to look around for his guardian. A sudden pang of panic hit him at that moment. Did the elephant got to him?

"oooo..." A small pathetic hoot came from behind him. He wheeled around in shock, only to find a smaller-than-regular-sized owl sitting in a tree behind him, flapping his wings wildly- Remmy. It was smart of him to transformed into an owl and hide in the trees, what better ways to escape from an elephant on rampage other than soaring into the sky? "Hoooo!! Hoooooooo!!" it continued to hoot.

"Oh my God! Thank God you're alright!!" Junichi sighed in relief, but it wasn't the time to relax. The thundering of the ground got louder as the elephant started to charge towards him again. It probably wasn't a wise choice for Junichi when he decided to take his eyes off of the elephant, even more so when he turned around, back facing the monstrosity. When he wheeled around again it was a little too late to avoid it's swinging trunk.

"OOOF!!!" It hit Junichi squarely on his chest. The last thing he felt was his backside hit the ground, several times. He skidded to a halt at about 20 feet away from the elephant and laid there, motionless.
The elephant possessed intent, if not any form of style or class, as it went about demolishing nearly a third of the group. Initially it managed to at the very least make "the Goddess" head for the hills, and five minutes later one swing of it's adorably crinkled trunk sent another member of the party flying, skidding, and thunking off to the side of the road. As the pink fiend wagged its tail in good cheer, the lad finally skidded to a stop off to the side of the path, apparently unconscious and possibly severely injured. The fight had only just begun and the winner was almost surely the ex-toy that was a charming shade of fuchsia and had the disposition of an angry pitbull.

Skule could have really cared less.

"Oh no, you did not just say that to me!"

Frankly, Guelherme had made a drastic mistake in his choice of females to offhandedly insult. Skule's affection towards males was nonexistent, and she was far more likely to get mad at a man for no reason than she was to ignore him. Once the flaming haired boy gave her a semi-valid excuse to try and bite his head off, the female Fa'e was all too happy to stride over to him and deliver the verbal beating. Fraught with annoyance she clenched one hand into a fist at her side, the other moving to poke the other teenager firmly in the chest. As far a she was concerned, the young man was trying to slight her honor. Being a creature of pride, Skule found that would not do at all. "You will apologize this very instant or I shall…"

Skule's impression of an iceberg only lasted a moment. "Make you regret it!"

Smugly satisfied by her vague but hopefully threatening retort, the Huldra crossed her arms over her chest and waited for a formal request for forgiveness. Perhaps if the male seemed sincerely sorry she would not have to make the fight physical. Somewhere not-very-deep within Skule's soul she hoped the apology would not be good enough. If looks could kill, her gaze just might have murdered, buried, and held a funeral for the man its owner was glaring at.

In the background of the ensuing argument, the elephant was becoming faintly confused. While its brain was made of little more than fluff, it was fairly sure the tiny things it was trampling were supposed to fight back. So far they had been rather easy to scare off or defeat and now two of them looked like they might turn on each other. Snorting loudly through its trunk, the monster of plush tried stomping a foot onto the ground as hard as it could, hoping a mild earthquake would help him regain the tinier beings' attentions.

The Huldra Fa'e was shaken, but she only looked up at the tusked beast briefly. "Do you mind not interrupting? Thank you."

During that time, Daisy stealthily made her way to the tree in which the transformed owl seemed to be hiding. While she was loathe to allow her daughter to become a distraction, Skule was certainly loud enough for the job. If she could just keep their opponent's attention, her guardian just might be able to think of some sort of plan to defeat it. If not… things might get really messy.

This day was just getting better, and better. That thing's bottom end had eaten the angel, their other male companion had just been piledriven into a near-coma, and now this girl was getting overly physical. Who cared about that giant monstrosity? It wasn't going anywhere, and this was rather important to the misguided teen. Wounded pride always was.

"Apologize for what? Correcting your mistake in thinking this is my fault?" A gangly arm gestured in the vague direction of Jun, also taking in that vivid shade of death that had hurt him. The same that was now glaring at them, and trumpeting wildly, making the ground shake with its stomping.

That threw him off balance. Falling back, he nearly banged his head against the ground, and only a quick twist of his shoulder prevented it. It also, unfortunately, brought Indiamara's attention back to the pair of teenagers, and even with the language barrier she knew something was not right.

"Guelherme! You worthless serpente, get that girl out of here! Are you totally incompetent as a male?! Remember your duty, remember who is superior to you!" Mara was always so helpful. That irony was the wake-up call that Guelherme's instincts needed, and he turned back to the Huldra girl.

"Perhaps we can discuss your apparent mistake later? There is something that I think wants our attention. And I am quite tired of being pushed around." Every nuance of his body language bespoke subservience, obediancy, and happiness to have both. Really, his mind was rambling on and on about what an idiot this girl was, and how she really needed to have her mistakes shoved through her skull.

Somehow, it was so much easier to be angry at women that were not matriarchs. Or from his village. Perhaps this barren planet had something to offer after all!

Now it was time to put his brain to work. Certainly he was more intelligent than the normal male in his village, and his years in the jungle had made his senses quite alert. Not that his eyes couldn't see everything in great detail. Though did it HAVE to be that blinding shade of pink? How could you find bodily weaknesses on something so brightly colored?

"Can you check on him? I need to look at this diabo." Gods knew she could be little help. Unless she wanted to talk it to death. Or poke it. He could still feel that jab on his ribs, she really had some claws.
"HOOT!!" Remmy hooted loudly in alarm as he swooped off the tree down towards Junichi's motionless body. When approaching ground his claws swiftly turned into legs, brown feathers flowing about as the wings turned into a man's arms. Gracefully landing next to Junichi in full human form, Remulos stared alarmingly at Junichi's face. His eyes were closed and there was a cut on his lips, probably bit into it himself when he got hit. Remulos's brow knitted together in concern as he reached out a hand to touch Jun's chest. He's still breathing! Remmy sighed in relief. Grabbing Jun's shoulders he shook him lightly. "JUN!! WAKE UP!!!" He screamed. They are still in grave danger as long as they are still on the ground with the giant pink toy rampaging about. Jun must wake up so they could run away to hide or something. Thankfully for Remmy, the elephant doesn't seem to take interest on him or the unconscious Jun now for that matter. And it gives him plenty of time to run away.

He swung Junichi's arm over his shoulder and lifted him up, intending to at least pull Junichi out of the clearing when Junichi stirred awake.

"MMmmm..." He moaned as he regained consciousness., the pain on his chest and backside stinging him at once. "Owww..." he winced, one hand clutching onto his chest, he realized his glasses cracked during the impact. "That thing sure hit me hard eh...?"

"Are you okay Jun?" Remmy asked in concern as he continued to guide Junichi off the road.

"Yeah I think I'm fine." He gritted his teeth and let out a groan as he stood up with his own 2 feet, getting off of Remmy. The pain on his butt was still stinging him so he couldn't actually stand straight. "Useless! If it were me I wouldn't had gotten hit like that!" The same voice as before cried in his head. "Seriously, I could care less." Junichi muttered a reply as he felt a tremor on the ground. Immediately reminded of the crisis at hand, Junichi snapped his head back at the elephant that now had it's back facing him.

Apparently the elephant lost interest with him when he fell unconscious, he should be thankful that the giant didn't decide to trample on him when it had the chance to. But now it seemed to be attracted by something on the other side. With his glasses cracked Junichi can't really see clearly. But when he squinted at the direction he saw 2 figures - the female Fa'e and the other male Fa'e who had flaming hair! They seem to be arguing with each other. Just at that moment the pink monstrosity kicked back it's hind legs, preparing to charge forwards.

Junichi had to do something, anything! He couldn't just look at the monster hurt another person. He had no idea what abilities the other Fa'e had, for all he knows they're probably as helpless as he is. But what he know is that he must do his best to prevent more people from getting hurt, even if it means getting hurt himself. Well, more than he is now anyway.

He don't know what prompted him to do so, but just before the elephants starts it's charge Junichi dashed forward instinctively. "HEY!!! GET AWAY FROM THERE!!!" He screamed at the top of his lungs at the 2 figures. But right now, Junichi is in a very difficult position because he's running in front of the charging beast, which is actually gaining speed and momentum.
The shift in the irksome boy's behavior was at once creepy and decidedly wrong. While Skule was rarely a good judge of sincerity, she was fairly sure the young man was simply pretending to be cordial. Somehow, that managed to grate against her nerves a good deal sharper than when he was being an outright prat. Her lips pursed for all of a moment and then she parted them to speak. Already she had a scathing remark in mind and the girl's best weapon had always been the brute force of her words. Luckily for Guelherme, it was just then the elephant started to charge and the other snake boy tried to dive in front of it.

This turn of events left Skule in Indecision Land. More often than not the Huldra incarnate simply went with her gut, even if her liver seemed a little dishonest and her small intestine was more or less merciless on a bad day. However, while part of her instinct said letting a male get trampled by a pink plaything was probably hilarious, another side of her said it wouldn't be quite so satisfying if she wasn't the one controlling the elephant. Very rarely did Skule ever have to deal with her own uncertainty, always being one to simply take the plunge at a notion, but for a second that lasted a lifetime she thought about her options.

Damn.

"This is not over!" she growled at Guelherme before she took off towards the nearest tree. One of her hands was lifting up her skirt to keep it from getting caught by her feet, while the other was shakily removing a pistol from hidden holster that was kept along her leg. Daisy had said that was the proper place to keep all weapons for a young lady, and while Skule was not entirely sure what she meant by it yet, she was quite happy all in all she had an easy way to get the elephant's attention.

Skidding to a stop, Skule removed the gun and aimed it skywards. Closing her eyes as though that would block out the impending loud noise, she pulled the trigger. Two seconds later and it became clear she officially had the elephant's attention again as it swerved to a stop in order to find whoever had made the obnoxious booming sound. Skule did not waste any time in figuring out if the monster was angry with her or not. She let go of her shirt in order to place her palm firmly against the side of the tree.

Under fingertips the bark pulsed. Slowly it seemed to open up, showing some twisted black place in the middle of the tree. Tenderly the bark spread, wrapping itself around the girl's arm and pulling her into the darkness. The exterior of the tree seemed to merge with Skule's form as she was swallowed into the trunk, completely covering her until there was just the tree and no more girl.

Less than a moment later and she was being pushed out of a tree some long yards away from the first.

Perplexed, the massive plushie merely shifted its immense weight from either side as it tried to think about the situation. Anything might have set it off after any one of the Fa'e, though it seemed to be considering thoroughly trashing the female that had upset its rather large and crinkled ears.

Daisy, for her part, was staying away from the beast. While she would protect Skule if the situation became dire, for the time being it all seemed far beyond her control. Tentively, she waited for some sign she could be of help. Until then, this was neither her army nor her war.

Cuddly Hunter

Well, that was encouraging to know. Guelmy was actually looking forward to it, and at the same time, dreading it. Here was a girl his age who didn't demand subservience, and had absolutely no interest in what lay below his breeches. How incredibly refreshing for the boy.

Indiamara seemed pleased that they were no longer fighting, however her opinion of Skule herself was rapidly decreasing. Lifting her skirts? Running towards the thing?! What kind of female did things for herself?! Heathen child.

With the bang from the pistol, the fat priestess toppled over, and her prayers renewed with a fervor. Only now she was praying that Skule go first, and then the rest. Heathens, the lot of them! Obliterate them all!

"Seja quieto, Senhora!" Oh that wouldn't go over well, but if she wouldn't shut up, he could NOT concentrate. This was more important than anything else at the moment! Where had Skule gone? Scanning the perimeter, he found her appearing out of a tree down the lane. Wasn't that handy?

"Are you feeling well? We might need you to help us." The inquiry was directed to the other serpentine boy. Jun, he think was the name he had heard from the strange shapeshifting owl. Vaguely, he thought it would be intelligent to start burning things behind the monstrosity as it headed for the girl slowly.

It wouldn't turn back towards them, and would be easier to trap. Hopefully.

"Do you think you could perhaps go help the senhora down there? I do not think she is capable of this on her own. His nerves were definately showing. His s's were sibilant and slurred. Talking was becoming difficult in the language of the homem branco.

It was quite strange for Guelherme to take charge in anything, but all anybody else was doing was getting hurt and running off on their own. Somebody had to do something!
For the second time of the day, Junichi found himself on his sore backside again. He wasn't thinking much just now when he charged in front of the elephant. But right now, when reality hit him and he realised that he was just inches away from being ran over, his knees gave way. Half of it was from the relief that Skule had saved him from the impending trampling pillars of doom, the other half however, was from his realisation of his stupidity. He should've known better than to get in front of the elephant again, he could've just shouted from where he originally was and the other two could've heard him. "Yeah, realised how stupid you are now?" the dark voice in his head snickered disgustingly, mocking him. Jayoku was right, getting in the way of the elephant was a mistake, and Junichi is not going to make the same mistake twice.

Frowning his brows, a look of determination creeped onto Junichi's face. If the few of them could work together somehow, maybe they could bring down the monster or at least run away to somewhere safe. He don't have any bright ideas right now, but the least he could do is offer his cooperation.

With a little struggle due to the throbbing pain in his chest, Jun managed to got onto his feet. "Yeah I'm alright", he replied, grabbing onto Guelherme's scaley shoulders to balance himself. The touch kind of reminded himself of his own scales. The fine purple scales on the back of his hand peeked out of his long sleeve shirt, contrasting with the larger bright red and golden ones belonged to Guelmy. "Do you have a plan?" Jun asked as he eyed the back of the elephant. He caught sight of Skule on the other side, with the giant toy in between them. But how is Jun going to get to her?

This is turning out to be one heck of a day for Remulos. He don't know how many more heart attacks he could take from Jun's brash actions. Transforming back into an owl, he soared into the skies. At least when he's in the sky he don't need to worry about getting trampled on.
Everything was spinning, as though during her time passing from tree to tree Skule was turned like a top. She was kept moving in circles until she fell out of another oak, completely disoriented with her knees just about to give out. On the plus side, the Huldra incarnate was used to the side effects of tree-walking. Sometimes she felt as though it was neatly carved into her being to be comfortable with the sensation of nausea. Every time one tree thrust her out she would stumble for merely a moment, gather herself, and then start running again in whatever direction seemed wise at the time. The earth flew beneath her feet, and even when she tripped over a large root or fallen branch she kept moving. She would not allow herself to slow down, even when she realized she was wearing her nice boots instead of her working ones.

Her motivation came in the form of a very pink, very unhappy toy elephant stampeding its way through the not-entirely-dense woods. Every few seconds the girl would look over her shoulder, nearly falling onto her face as she attempted to gauge just how much time before she was crushed under a child's plaything's mighty heels. While the idea was amusing, it was in no way appetizing. To say Skule was mildly regretting her decision to help one of the male Fa'e would have been a grand understatement. To say she was going to beat his face in if he did not make himself useful very soon would have been completely true.

"Where are they?" she growled aloud, one hand pushing stray strands of hair out of her eyes. While Skule was nowhere near out of breath, it was becoming clear the elephant was covering ground much faster than she. There was a silver lining to the pink and violent cloud, however. Some yards in front of the girl was what might have been a medium sized group of trees, an area not unlike a miniature forest. If she could just pass through the more or less open ground before it, she might stand a small chance. She dashed.

Then she stumbled on approximately nothing but her own two feet.

Then she twisted her ankle as she fell. Then she swore a lot as the ground quaked, signaling that her immediate doom was stomping its way towards her.

Cuddly Hunter

That was quite a good question. How WAS the other boy supposed to get over to her? And how was he going to deal with this? A plan? Goodness. What did he know about strategy?

Never mind that the girl was running in and out of trees at a dizzying speed that it would have taken the serpentine jungle boy some effort to keep pace with. She was darting in and out of trees, keeping the thing behind her enough to stay angry, but not enough to make her safe. It was making things hard to plan, when you didn't know which way she would go next!

"Can you, perhaps, get behind the thing? I do not know where your talents lie. Perhaps you can," he searched for the English word, "inform me of what they are?" That sounded right.

By now, his guardian was forgotten, as she was out of harm and out of earshot. Thank the gods for that, at least. Guelherme was impatient, and could barely constrain his urge to go and help the girl. Holding his hand out and down in a forty-five degree angle, he concentrated. It wasn't hard, but forming a shape with what he wanted would take at least a modicum of concentration and focus.

Down his arm, flowing over the scales like a river over parched earth, the warm flames coalesced into a ball in his hand. A small one, but with this much vegetation, and dry vegetation at that, it would not take much.

"Mosca e queimadura!" was the brisk command, the fireball leaving his hand at a rapid pace, and striking a tree near the monstrosity's head. It burst into an almost star-like beauty, charring almost instantly. It was, after all, very hot fire.

"I think we may have to make some sort of move very quickly now, meu sócio. I do not think she will last long." And his fire could only distract the thing so much. Bosta.
With a silent nod, Junichi agreed to Guelmy's statement that Skule might not last long. Just the sight of Skule dashing from tree to tree in the forest is enough to make Jun's head spin, he couldn't imagine pulling a stunt like that himself. So instead he focused on the pink giant, eyes following it's giant body as Junichi dashed into the trees. Skule is a girl after all, there's only so long that she might last, he have to help her distract the thing somehow. He saw Guelmy conjured that fireball just now, if only he could find something that could start up a big enough fire to stop the elephant. Or even better, setting the thing itself on fire! But the giant toy doesn't look like it's flammable, at least not easily anyway.

"I'll distract the beast with the girl, you find a way to stop it!" Junichi cried to Guelmy one last time right before he ran into the woods. Jun knows it's selfish to leave such a big burden on Guelmy, but Skule needs help as well. Besides, Guelmy looks so much tougher than Skule.

As soon as Remmy saw Junichi headed into the trees, he took flight after him, keeping a close eye on Jun. The feeling of worry as a guardian guiding his body now rather than the fear of the beast. He's too worried about Jun to leave this entire endeavor to his own. Swooping between trees he took note of the giant pink toy's stampede direction, it's too hard to miss to tell the truth. That's when he saw it, the female Fa'e that was transporting between trees tripped and fell to the ground not very far in front of it. It was his cue, he needed to do something to distract the monster long enough for Jun to reach the girl.

Conjuring all the courage in his little timid heart, Remmy made a swift dash towards the pink elephant's head. He hooted loudly once and extended his claws towards the elephants giant bead eyes. This made the elephant flinched and temporarily halted in it's tracks, it's long trunk swinging wildly trying to get the irritation off it's head. Avoiding the trunk as best as he could, Remmy continued to poke and claw at the elephant's eyes until he half peeled the left eye out from the glue that attaches it to the body.

Seeing that the elephant halted in it's tracks, Junichi silently thanked Remmy as he seized the opportuned moment to grab Skule around the waist and heaved her up and over his shoulder. Then he ran across the small clearing to the trees beyond. When he thinks that the creature had lost sight of them he settled Skule down behind a tree and some bushes as he kept a close eye to the elephant. "Are you okay?" Jun asked in concern as he stole another gaze at the elephant. It now had a dangling eye and seemed to had lost track of them. Remmy seemed to had escaped when Jun rescued Skule. "Good job Remmy." he muttered a praise to no one in particular, and only loud enough for himself to hear.
As Skule lay face down in the path of a charging pink elephant, she was fairly sure the situation had turned rather grim. Her mouth tasted of grass and dirt, which was not terribly surprising as her face was pressed up intimately against the bare ground. Furthermore, the pain in her ankle was throbbing sharply, pulsing nearly as fast as her rapidly beating heart. Walking would be impossible, let alone walking like a maniac. Besides, even if she was able to lay her hand on yet another tree the constant use of her special ability had drained a good deal of her magical energy. It was very possible she would have ended up stuck between oaks and Goddess only knew what would happen to her then. Everything seemed fairly pointless. Her body just wanted to shut down and ignore the trembling earth that signified terrible things to come.

All the time, Skule's brain was screaming the same simple ideas.

It's about to step on me it's about to step on me this really isn't proper I am about to be stepped on damn that stupid stupid boy-

Skule's line of thought was shattered as quite abruptly the very figure she was blaming for her unhappy predicament hefted her up onto his shoulder. The girl was not even given time to protest, or state she would rather die than be manhandled before Junichi was running for the hills. Luckily, the Huldra incarnate was bright enough to realize throwing a fit while someone was more or less rescuing her would be a bad idea. Instead, she suffered in silence letting the dark gears inside her mind twist and turn so that she might think of a proper punishment for her benefactor later on. That was, of course, if they lived.

To her rather enormous chagrin, Skule was forced to hold onto the other's arm as he set her on the ground. The ankle she had twisted earlier was still rather tender, and when she tried to stand without outside support pain would shoot up her entire body- spreading from nerve to nerve like wildfire.

When she was able to speak a grimace accompanied her words, "We're even then. I helped you and… I suppose you helped me. Good job."

Her part was done, she decided as Guelherme finally brought up the rear. Either the boys would defeat the pink menace on their own or they were all going to be squashed like peanuts sitting on a railroad track. Surely, since they had already made some small efforts to be useful, the two were not completely ineffective.

All the same, Skule was not about to hold her breath. She did want to live.
