Finally got this done!
So here's how it works. I post an edit that I've done here. You try to guess what it's of. All I'm telling you is that you can find the reference picture(s) on the internet. Once you think you know what it is, PM me with your guess. You're only allowed one guess per edit. If you think you know the reference picture, send it as well; you won't be penalized for the wrong ref.
After one, maybe two people -- the number is liable to change at my discretion -- have gotten it right, then I'll PM everyone back and tell them if they were wrong, close, or right. The first person to get it right definitely wins the prize; people after that, they might or they might not, it depends on the turnout.
What is the prize? Other than bragging rights, you get that complete edit as your own, and the parts of it (like the hair, eyes, clothes, whatever) for no extra charge on up to three edits.

Custom edits
Yes, I do customs. Without making you pay a ninja headband.
The price of a custom edit is determined by the equation:
e(1.5f+d)+x
Don't understand it? Here's an explanation.
"F" is the original price of something; so, 150g for clothing, 100g for wings, etc. The "1.5f" means that, at the simplest, you pay half as much more for having a custom edit. The "d" variable stands for difficulty; a hard edit will cost you more. "E" is its exclusivity. If you don't mind it being shared, e=1; no extra cost. If you want it to be for you only, then e=2; you pay twice as much. "X" is the random factor, and can be either positive or negative. This takes into account my current mood, whether I had fun doing this edit, what exactly I was supposed to be doing while I was editing, and a whole bunch of stuff.
Confused? Probably. But it makes sense to me, and I'm the one figuring it out.
How to order
Unlike other edits, you don't have to send the trade first. What you DO do, is post what you want. Be specific. Give reference, if you have it. Provide a base unless what you want me to edit IS the base. (If you don't give a base, and it's something on tektek, I will laugh at you and ignore your order.)
When I've finished the edit -- which can take between one day and a month, depending -- I'll PM you stating the price. You then send the trade to me, like a regular order. If you don't pay, unless you have a REALLY good reason, you go on my blacklist.
Making a base
So, you want a base that's you instead of a tektek'd skin colour and eyes? Not only do I do premade hairs, ears, and wings, I'll also edit a base for you; changing the eyes, adding a marking, whatever. The cost is variable (making new eyes will cost around 100g while doing serious modifications to the avatar structure will be proportionally higher).
If you're interested, post the order as you would a custom: give me all the info, I'll work on it, and tell you the price when I'm done.

Recolouring costs 75g for simple (eg, changing the underskirt on Lady to a different colour), and 150g for complex (like having the edges of something a different colour).
Alterations in an edit (using the sleeves of one edit on another, say) can range from free to 100g. Ask me before ordering.
Changing a male to a female edit, and vice versa, costs 150g.
Edits with a * behind them have an alternate version. If you want it, be sure to specifically state so.
