About me: You can call me Stella. I've been a member of gaia since mid January of 2006. The first item I ever truly quested was the laptop. As of late, I decided I would rather host giveaways than work for my own success on gaia. Thus, the Avatar Giveaway was born. Oh and the Current Status thing... if it says I'm online, I'm working on the giveaway when it says I'm offline, I'm not. Rent a guild from me!

How it Works

Step One- Similiar to a dream avatar contest, people enter an avatar (under 200k) and a poll is held to choose one. (first to 10 votes will win)

Step Two- We create the avatar by buying all items. We even save up gold for the hair! All donators will recieve 'points'. (See post titled 'Points')

Step Three- Yay! The avatar is finished! Now, we give the avatar to the person with the most points. What they do with the avatar however is up to them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q- Will you finish my avvie for me?
A- No, we will not. You can however submit your avatar to be used in a later contest. If it is chosen, you can win it if you participate. 3nodding

Q- What if my avatar is over 200k?
A- Should you find someone willing to come up with the gold it is over by, you can still enter the avatar.

Q- Liek omg! will u donte 2 m3h?!?!
A- Never, ever type like that again. And no- not when you ask. Hang around here, participate, and you might get win.

Q- Is this a scam?
A- For the last time, no! As I recieve the items, I put them on the avatar as prove I have them. If you ever have doubts about the gold, feel free to send me a trade and I will show you. You can also talk to past participants in the contest. Simply click the link in the first post on this thread to visit the first AG.

Q- How can I get points quickly?
A- The absolut fastest way is to donate. However, you might want to enter what ever contests I have going. -hint hint- Also! I give out points to people by the thousands if they are active here. However I will not give points to someone to break a tie.

heart Art Contest! The object is simple- draw the best version of the avvie that is being use for the AG. You may use pen, pencil, and even paint to create your own interpritation of the avvie. However, you may not enter another's work as your own. Once I have recieved five piece of work from five different gaians, I will put up a poll for forty-eight hours. The winners will be picked as concerning who has the most votes. Have fun and Good luck!*

Prizes for Art Contest-
1st Place=2000 Points
2nd Place=1000 Points
3rd Place=400 Points

To earn points by bumping....
10 bumps = 5 points
One Time Bonus-
At 100 bumps=200 point bonus
At 200 bumps=400 point bonus
At 500 bumps=1000 point bonus
At 1000 bumps=3000 point bonus

To earn points by donating...
Donating a quested item will earn you 1p for every 1g it is worth. Donated a nonquested items is the same as donating gold.
Donating pure gold will earn you 1/2p for every 1g.

To earn points by advertising....
For every person referred to this thread, you will earn 2 points.
Each banner made will earn you 10 points (Maximum of 2 banners)
Placing an add in your sig will earn you 15 points (for every 3 days it stays in your sig) or 10 points per week.

Note: All gold donated will be set aside for the avatar. Concerning the hair of the avatar, the winner will be given pure gold for it.

Joint Teams: If you would like to earn points in a team of people, it costs 250g per person. Pm me for more info.

If the avatar you sumbit is the one chosen, you will receive 150pts.
