In an attempt to bring some new, interesting RPs to the shop, an RP contest is being held!

Anthropomorphs is a shounen-ai (malexmale, boylove, yaoi) store, thus, those bearing problems with such should leave now. If you need more information on Anthropmorphs, click the banner in the title.

Event Start: January 6th, Noon PST
Event End: January 13th, Noon PST

General Rules

Follow the TOS, etc.
All main shop rules apply.
There is to be no discouraging others from entering this event. Should it be brought to my attention that anyone is doing this, they will be disqualified from this event.
On that note, there is a no-tolerance policy on cheerleading or comments like, "I'm sure I'll win", etc. etc.
All questions may be asked in the thread. Thus, do not PM Raven.
I do not care about your whining. In fact, it will make me more than a little disinclined to give you whatever you're whining about. The same goes for bitching about the results. If it becomes necessary, I reserve the right to politely ask you to shove it somewhere unpleasant.
I reserve the right to change the rules.
RP is allowed in this thread, and encouraged even. After all, there is an RP contest!

RP Contest Rules and Suggestions
This event is FREE.
There is to be a maximum of four people per entry for the contest and a minimum of two.
Do not, not, not plagiarize.
The submission period ends when it ends. Period.

Raffle Rules
This event is NOT free. It costs 100g per ticket.
Send your trades to draconianraven with the number of tickets you want to buy in the title.
Tickets are sold in order. You may not request specific numbers.
Tickets are unlimited.

Up for grabs through a FREE RP contest is a family of four! Two adults and twin kiddlings-- whatever breed you'd like. However, there's a catch, darlings. You have to choose at least one and up to three people to play with for this game. The winners will be whichever team has the most interesting group behind them.

Note: Every person in each team has to participate in this in part-- you should make sure you use colors or some such to differentiate the different writers. You know.

Background Info

These are wanderers, gypsies. Outcasts, but they understand their lot and revel in it. There is to be no angst about it. This was the life they were born to, and they enjoy it. This family is by no means rich. In fact, they're very simple people.

Everything else is up to you.

This family has just come to Barton/the shop and... well, what now? What do they do? Write me their interaction. Show me their personalities.

A wanderer, a gypsy-- a loner. This boy travels alone, never with anyone else for very long. He's not the settling down type, you see-- there have been many who've tried to tame him, but none have managed. The winner gains all rights to him!

So... not really big on the RP contest or the raffle-- or just bored? Well, we have a game for you too! A gypsy with the same background info as our raffle boy, but this one's done on stock lineart. ^_^ Whoever bumps the most (numbered bumps, one post = one bump, etc. etc.) by the end of the event wins!

Auctions are't "fun" ... this is <3
Gives us a way to earn a pet AND do it in a way thats interesting. If what I think is right.. we ge tto establish the pet to act like we would have it an rp as we would if it was ours. The most interesting of the entries deserves the people ^^
