Introduction
Welcome to Haomin HQ. What exactly is a Haomin, you ask? A Haomin is a type of bird, except, nothing like you've ever seen before. What's so different about this creature is that it has the head of a horse, but the body of a bird. I found this species one day while traveling through the snow capped mountains of a distant land. I happened upon a nest, very huge in size, that of what seemed could be a dragon nest. I waited nearby to see if the parents would return, but none did. I decided that the eggs in the nest had been abandoned for some reason unknown to myself, and that they needed my help. Thinking that they were dragon eggs the whole time, I carefully placed them in my bag and took them home with me where they were given careful watch and care.
Egg

The day the eggs began to hatch, I watched with anticipation. To my astonishment, the little baby creatures were not at all dragons, but some unknown species of which I decided to call the Haomin. Of the three eggs, only two survived, one male and one female. I took their baby photos, which are shown below:
Female baby

Male baby

They were calm little things at first, but as they grew, they were a little more active. I wrote down notes in a notebook of what they were like and of their lifespan from the time they were eggs, to the time when they were adults. They only ate meat, but drank milk from a bottle at a young age. They molted their feathers like normal birds, and grew extra winter furr on their heads like horses do in the winter season. The babies soon grew into adults, which seemed to happen within a few weeks time. I also took their adult photos, which are shown below:
Female adult
<IMG src="http://img44.photobucket.com/albums/v135/Renee55/Haomin/ColoredsampleFA.jpg">
Male adult
<IMG src="http://img44.photobucket.com/albums/v135/Renee55/Haomin/haominmale_Thicker1sample.jpg">
As adults, they were huge, almost half the size of a large dragon. The female was just a tad smaller in size than the male. A few weeks had gone by before I noticed that the two were becoming interested in each other. This I noted down as the time in their life when they were of the right breeding age. Of course, I released them back into the wild at that time, back to where they were born, and do not know whether they have still been together or not. The following notes on lifespan are as follows:
Egg-baby: 1--1 1/2 weeks
Baby-adult: 2--2 1/2 weeks
Adult-breeding readiness: 2 weeks
This was all the info I was able to write down in the amount of time I raised these wonderful Hoamins.
