Welcome to the Seki Research Center! Here we sell pet rocks. Yes, you read right, pet rocks. Your help in caring for these rocks will help our research on what we call the Fallen, also known as Seki. From my research in myths about Seki kept in the local archives there are two confirmed forms:

Rock Egg - From our study of Criton, rock eggs can take up to 3 days to a week before it shows signs of hatching. From what we can tell this is due to the thickness of the rock shell. Please be patient. It might sit there, but it is a pet rock…

Blob - These may seem soft and cuddly, but they still carry characteristics of their rock form. Out of the hard rock shell egg they tend to be very curious and very hungry. Be sure to check on it often. It seems that if Seki blobs are left unattended for as an adaptation to survive their past neglect they revert back to their dormant rock stage. These don’’ hatch too easily, so there is no guarantee it will return back to a blob…

? – The last form is unknown and it is questionable on whether or not there are more forms after this third stage. There are many version of what they look like, but we’re still waiting for our current specimen to evolve to that stage. From what I’ve read on Seki, my hunch is that the care you provide for it and the things that you buy for it will determine what this stage will look like.

Seki will be a lot of work, so please keep that in mind before getting one. They were, after all, abandoned for their high maintenance. Fortunately, my I have a couple of assistants to help you take of your pet. Only once or twice a week will you get an alert for your pet, and when you do a yellow box will highlight the light which tells you what your pet needs.



Lights:
Red (Food) - After your egg hatches it will be very hungry. Food is available for purchase in items section of this thread. Please check it out. ^^ Right now there is generic food. But depending on what you decide to feed your Seki later on might affect how it grows.

Orange (Comfort) - Sometimes your pet will desire a change in scenery or need a few items to make them more comfortable. A change of scenery hasn?t been known to happen often, but our experiments with Seki eating special food and treated differently tend to be upset if they?re in the rocky home we provide all Seki. Don?t worry about this option until these Seki are released.

Green (Sick) - The strange thing about Seki is that when they get ill they harden as if they were going back to their rock state. We?re not quite sure why this happens, but we have found something that helps. Special potions to heal them are available in the items section. If you?re Seki is sick treat it immediately! After a week of being untreated we?ve found they turn back into rocks. We?re working on a solution to bring them back, but it?s not guaranteed that it works?

Blue (Boredom) - A rock world is sometimes boring for a Seki. Sometimes it needs toys to play with other than other rocks and boulders. Don?t let your pet get sick and die of boredom! Items again are available a few posts down.

Purple (um.. Accidents) Yup? Even rocks have to do their business and sometimes my assistants need incentives to clean it for you. It costs only 5g to clean up. Please post in the thread if you?d like them to do so. ^^ Don?t let your Seki live in filth. O_o That stuff can build up?

Emotions:



1. Exclamation mark – These usually shows that something big has happened to your pet, good or bad. Watch out for it!
2. Sad face – Your pet is unhappy for some reason. Check the lights to see what you have to do to help it.
3. Sick face – Your pet is ill. At this stage it can be healed with a potion… Any further… well…
4. Happy face - ^_^ Your pet is very content. Good job! whee
5. Heart – All your hard work has paid off. Your Seki really loves you… I wonder what they’ll do in return…
