Ok, unfortunately I cannot post the code because it stretches the first post too much. I cannot break my own rules, but if you want to use the smaller banner created by zombie kate just send me a PM and I'll be happy to send you the code in a PM. The reason it stretches my page is because I use the Mozilla Firefox web browser when I'm on Gaia because it runs faster for me, but sometimes codes when posted as a code will stretch too far because they have so many characters with no spaces. It isn't always true for the Internet Explorer, but for some reason it does happen with Firefox.

(19 April 2007) The games are reset. I'll update the Bump Contest at a later time. I added a list of holidays on which certain prizes will be doubled for winners and ticket prices slashed in half! I also added a list of artworks I will provide for purchases of certain amounts of tickets. The tickets must be purchased altogether. I'll also fix the pictures in the Avy Contest at a later time. Anyway, I'm tired, so I'll see ya'll later.

(19 April 2007) Ok, this is just to inform everyone that the character HarryPotterFan10 is XxSailorMoonRules9xX, and she will be allowed to continue bumping from her status on her previous character. I allowed this because she informed me of her character change via PM on her original character. In other news, keep a watch. There will be another Update before I log off.

(15 April 2007) Tomorrow evening I will be posting a list of Holiday Specials, and a new incentive for my List of Promotional Offers. Also, I'll reset the Games, and they'll run through May 20th. The Charity Lottery will be re-vamped and re-opened in May! I have a goal of getting the Avatar Contest off the ground the last week of May April (not May), too. I need 7 more participants. Anyway, stay alert for more updates!

(24 March 2007) I have redesigned several posts in the thread. There is now an easy to use linkset at the top of post 1. This should greatly reduce confusion on navigating through all the contests. I also added a FAQs post and a list of all my Special Promotions.
--XxSailorMoonRules9xX has suggested something fantastic to be added to the Dice Probability Game and the Number Guesstimate Game. I should have these added by next Wednesday. I may have it tonight, but I don't know, yet. I'll have (UPDATE (the date here)) beside it, so you'll know when I add it. smile

(11 March 2007) I reset the Dice Probability Game and the Number Guesstimate Game. There have been some alterations to the rules, but gameplay is basically the same. I will not be opening the Charity Lottery at the moment. Please read the contests` Rules for Updates.

(07 March 2007) Sorry for not being on here for the past few weeks.
The following people will be allowed to participate for this month only in the dice and random number games without having to purchase tickets: angel_from_god21, XxSailorMoonRules9xX, Zombie Kate, Steven Wolfsbane, and tH3_black_dWarF. I am allowing this because these 5 Gaians have been very supportive of my thread in my absence. Also I am adding TheKeen to this list for beginning support even though no leader was present.
Once again I apologize for not being online.
I will reset all the games on the 11th with some minor changes for the better. Maybe someone will win it this month sweatdrop , and NO I am not going to end it at the end of the month and cut this month's game short by starting on the 11th. That's not fair. Anyway. The ending time will be another tweak which will be mentioned on the 11th.

(12 February 2007) Due to my inability to get on here for prolonged periods of time. I am forced to close the Branch Thread. Also, I'd like to encourage participation in my other contests. There are ways to earn gold quickly besides bumping. The catch is more people have to participate. This Gameroom is designed and planned for lots of people. The more people, the faster some of the contests go. The faster they go, the faster you get your prize money. The more people participating, the happier everyone will be.

In other news, everyone needs to read the Dice Probability Game and the Number Guesstimate Game posts. If your name isn't on the eligible contestant lists, then you haven't met the purchase requirements...also note that award tickets do not count towards a ticket purchase requirement.

(31 December 2006) There have been some changes to the Dice Probability Game and the Number Guesstimate Game! Please read about these contests.


Following Changes Affect the Dice Probability Game:

The odds of winning are changing from 1/132 to 1/660!
Instead of having 15 winning numbers, there will only be 3!
Also the ticket purchase requirement will be moved up to 15 Tickets!
And the prize will remain the same at 35,000 gold!


Following Changes Affect the Number Guesstimate Game:

The odds of winning are changing from 1/200 to 1/1000!
Instead of having 25 winning numbers, there will only be 5!
Also the ticket purchase requirement will be moved up to 10 Tickets!
And the prize will remain the same at 25,000 gold!

The ticket purchase requirements are fair based on the amount paid, the odds of winning, and the amount that can be won within a month's period.
Games will still be reset monthly.
Bumping will no longer have a 5 Ticket purchase requirement!
Anyone will be able to bump in the Bump Contest!
MOST IMPORTANTLY
I AM CHANGING HOW REQUIREMENTS WORK...YOU WILL HAVE TO PURCHASE THE TICKET REQUIREMENT FOR EACH CONTEST NOW. THEY ARE NO LONGER STACKABLE.

I really want the avatar contest and charity lottery to be successful contests because they provide money fairly quickly if they can become popular. The faster the avatar contest of 10 spots fills up, the faster the prize is given out, and the charity contest prize is given out at the end of every month. The more tickets that sell, the higher the prize will be. Monthly Charity Lottery Tickets cost 500 each, but there will be a winner at the end of the month and you will get your prize as soon as you can confirm a trade because this lottery is entirely self-sufficient. The same goes for the Avatar Contest. The entry fee for the avatar contest is 1k. I will enter your current avatar only, so I suggest you be dressed the way you want to look until you see that I have posted your avatar in the contest. I will change 1 time, but only 1 time.

Anyway, the point of rambling on is that I need your help to spread the word about my contests. The more people we get in here and participating, the longer this thread will live. I am a stubborn fool and if I can help it, it will not die! I am changing the REFERRAL REWARDS. You will get 25 free tickets in the WACKY LOTTO for every person you refer to this thread that stays and participates, or if they just want to enter a contest and leave, you can get 10 free tickets for referring them. The way the 25 ticket referral prize will work is I will give you 10 tickets when they mention that you referred them. If after 2 weeks time they are still here and participating by bumping or other means and have been for a fair amount, I will then reward you the other 15 tickets. smile Just remember to tell them to send me a PM saying that you referred them, and that they should send the PM first. (03 December 2006) The December Games have recently been reset. The Number Guesstimate Game and the Dice Probability Game bth have a new set of winning numbers to generate. Also the Monthly Charity Lottery has began. The tickets do cost more, but there is also a guaranteed winner at the end of the month. I put the ticket price at 500 gold because with such a short time to run the charity lotto, I was afraid that there would be a serious lack of ticket sales, so by putting the price a little higher, when someone buys a ticket, it helps to make the final prize a little higher. I hope to help out several Gaians throughout the duration of this lottery. The Charity Lottery is on Page 2, Post 1. Also I will open the first round of the Semi-Charitable Avatar Contest on Page 2 sometime next weekend, and there is a slight chance I won't be online much this week depending on how much classwork I can complete beforehand.

(18 November 2006) I have rearranged the layout of the thread to make it easier on everyone. You may still click the links in the Table of Contents, but I have moved all contests except the main lottery, the WACKY LOTTO. The only contest on page 1 is the WACKY LOTTO. All others are on page 2 now.

(16 November 2006) I'd like everyone to read a message that has now been added in the Winner's Spotlight post. There has also been an update to the rules that you cannot do the random number contest or dice contest until I have received your ticket money in a completed trade, but you may start bumping from the moment you send your trade. I am making this clear because the question has arisen recently with an individual who won on a dice roll but I have no real way of proving his trade was sent before he rolled. I unfortuneatly could not award him any gold, but I will admit that it is my fault for not clearly stating this. Thank You for taking the time to read the updates. I'm still updating some other posts so bear with me. smile

If nobody rolls a winning number, I will take this month's 35,000 Gold prize and add it to the prize for the first person to roll a winning number next month. This would mean the first person would get 70,000 Gold and anyone else who rolls a winning number would get 35,000. I am adding this new aspect to the game because with so few contestants, there may be no winner this month. I hope this does not happen, but if it does, I want next month's incentive to be higher. **NEW** UPDATE TO THE NUMBER GUESSTIMATE GAME
If nobody generates a winning number, I will take this month's 25,000 Gold prize and add it to the prize for the first person to roll a winning number next month. 5. You MUST PM me when you send a trade for tickets.

If you do not state specific numbers in this PM, ticket numbers will be assigned to you. Once I post your tickets, I WILL NOT change them...I will change your name however as will be explained in rule 8. Also the PM must state WATAI`S WACKY LOTTO because there are 2 lottos in this thread.
6. NO REFUNDS. The lottery will go on until it is completed. I don't care if it takes more than a year. I am determined to make it work.
7. You are allowed to win more than one prize here. If you are lucky enough to win prize 7 and prize 9, for example, you'll get to keep both prizes.
8. If you change your username or change characters, it will be your sole responsibility to remember to inform me of this. If, at the time of the drawing, you cannot be contacted for more than 2 weeks' time, your prize will be forfeited and re-awarded. If you decided to change characters, you must inform me through your original character. I will change your name on your tickets as stated in rule 9. If you get banned and cannot inform me via your original character, you're tough out of luck because I will not believe ANYONE who claims, "oh I used to be so and so until I got banned."
9. (17 December 2006) I will only change your username twice within a 6 month period, so please keep this in mind if you decide to change your username. It is a pain to have to go in and change your username on all of my contest lists. If you change it like every month, you will be blacklisted, and your name will be removed from all contests and your tickets resold. I don't want to do this to anyone, but I am also not going to change your name 500 times, so remember that I will change your name twice in a 6 month period, which is 4 times a year. That's pretty reasonable.
10. Rules are subject to change at any time, and if they are changed, you will be informed with an update.

**If you break my rules, You will be Blacklisted and removed from any contest(s) you have entered, and I will NOT refund your money. If you did not know the rules, that's your fault. It states Clearly in POST 1 to read everything. 3nodding




DRAWING PROCEDURE

The drawing of the Lottery will commense at the lottery's end. At this time, I will use Gaia's Random Number Generator to determine the winners. I will draw for prize 10 first, then prize9, then prize 8, etc. I will post the winners in the Winner's Spotlight along with a link to the particular post that determine their winning ticket.




HOW TO PLAY

Tickets Cost 100 gold each. Send me a PM answering the questions stated in rule 5 above. Then send me a trade of 100 gold x (ticket amount). I will then post your name to the ticket list. Odds are your liklihood to win in a lottery or game. For example, 1/200 odds means that you have a 1 out of 200 tries of winning, so that means 1 out of every 200 drawings is likely to be on one of your ticket numbers or that you are likely to roll the winning number in a dice competition 1 out of every 200 rolls. ALWAYS compare what you put into the game to what you are likely to get out of the game.

Explanation of a Prize on Hold


A Prize on Hold occurs because I have arranged for a certain amount of the revenue generated from this lottery to fund the prizes given in these games, excluding the Charitable Lottery and Avatar Contests because they are self-sufficient meaning that they are in no way tied to the lottery's funds. Anyway, the point is that unless I sell lots of tickets, I have to put your prize on hold. My goal is to sell more than 100 tickets each day. I can't do this without your help. I need everyone to spread the word about this thread, also I have decided that if you have to have your prize go on hold, I will give you 5 free tickets in the lottery, but I am offering another alternative. I can give you your prize amount in lottery tickets and thereby increasing your chances of winning the 20,000,000 first prize in the lottery. For example, If you won 35,000 Gold, and it goes on hold, you can either take 350 tickets in the lottery or you can keep the gold on hold and I will give you 5 free tickets for the wait.

I cannot believe that no one purchased a ticket in this lottery. I knew there would be a turn-off factor because of the 500 gold ticket price but dang...people it was for charity. If like 10 people bought 1 ticket each...I'd have been happy but NOBODY bought a ticket, so no one won sad
I hope there's a better turn-out for January's Game...I'll be lowering the ticket price to hopefully attract more people...I'll set it at 200 gold a ticket.
That sound VERY reasonable and I am not receiving any gold from this, so keep that in mind...I'm running this service to get advertisement from the featured charities and questers, and their incentive is that they get half the revenue from the Charity Lottery...the other half is the Prize Winner's!
