Welcome to my Art Contest. This is my second time hosting an art contest and I absolutely loved it the last time. I’m an art fanatic so I can’t wait to get things started. Artak1403 (Jacob) my boyfriend and I had a great contest last time in honor of our anniversary. This is in honor of the holiday season and Jacob’s birthday coming up in December. I love him so much and we are excited about doing another contest.

Few things to remember: please read all the rules. I feel so embarrassed having to tell an artist that they missed one of the rules. It makes me feel awful and I’m sure the artist feels frustrated. I promise you there won’t be too many rules. Please enjoy yourself and stay and hang out. There will be freebies in the thread every so often for bumping or just for fun so be on the look out!

Rules

1. Please be polite in my thread.
2. Do not ask for gold, items, anything...
3. Do not PM me unless you have an entry.
4. There is no entrance fee
5. Any type of art is accepted.
6. Art can be any quality. (Remember better quality. Better chance of winning)
7. You can have more then 1 entry.
8. You can win more then one prize. (One exception. See Contest post)
9. Your entry can win more then one prize.
10. Respect others in the thread.
11. Have fun!
12. All entries must be in before midnight on Jan. 3rd
13. Use any of the outfit references on the Meet Us page.
14. You CAN do us individually. Its just cuter when we are a couple. ^_^
15. There is no form to fill out. But please let us know what type of art it is for prize purposes.
16. When done with a entry. Either post it in the thread or pm it to Angel387

Contest

This area of the contest is not for Chibi art. There is a separate area just for Chibi so if you want to submit one please refer to there.

There are no stipulations for this area. Please no naked avies... Jacob and I don’t like that. The avies could be showing a little skin and kissing and hugging and holding it ok. Just not to intimate.

Any type of art is ok in this area except Chibi. You can do you art in traditional or in digital either is wonderful. Remember there are prizes for different art and poses. So take that into consideration. If you win the grand prize you could also win the best sketch. You just can’t win the grand prize and the chibi grand prize together.

Entries Must be in by midnight Jan 3rd. Judging will start and continue through the holidays. Jan 6th the winners will be announced.

Chibi Contest

This area is for Chibi art ONLY! Artak and I love Chibi so the cuter the better! Please feel free to add things you think would be nice to the artwork that express some of our likes.

Jacob and Angel would like to thank all the artist for all the entries. They were all winners and so beautiful. Please know that your artwork whether it won or not will be teasured by us.

The art work will hopefully be put up on a extended signature link of artwork done for Jacob and I. If we hold another contest we hope you will be encouraged to join again. It was a pleasure seeing all the hard work each artist put into their entries and chatting and getting to know all of you. I feel I make new friends everytime I do this.

Angel: This was such a elegant piece. When it first came in I couldn't take my eyes off it and I still stare at it sometimes. Definately romantic and beautiful.

Artak: I like how this one feels magical, is nicely drawn, and shows a lot of emotion.

Grand Chibi Prize: Chibi Entry 17 by buta-chan*

Angel: A beautiful traditionally done piece of art. Jacob and I are so cute in our kitty and puppy outfits. It has a very cute puppy. I like the way it was done.

Artak: This one shows a lot of excitement and fun, which is how I feel around Angel.

Second place: Entry 20 by Zadie*

Angel: Amazing entry. I can't believe someone would spend so much time on it for us. I like the pick of outfits and they way the skin looks. Also our faces in the clouds I didn't know it was ours until I looked closely. Very cool!

Artak: I like how this one feels a bit spontaneous yet cute and intimate.

Angel: Adoreable entry. I love how Jacob has fallen asleep in my lap and the little kitten is sleep on him. Jacob is so cute when he is sleepy and how I would love to be in that position with him.

Artak: I like how this one feels intimate and shows Angel taking care of me. She does a great job of that.

Angel: Very romantic sketch. Lightly shaded and the rose is such a nice touch.

Artak: I love how this one we look so cute, and I'm giving Angel a flower! We look like a happy couple walking somewhere, doing something together.

Best CG: Entry 3 by Swifty Roaric*

Angel: the coloring is very unique in this piece and we are so shocked the kitty would try and take the sashie. I really liked the view the most I think.

Artak: This one is very nicely drawn and colored. I have to admit, though, I don't like how it seems like we look sad.

2. Chibi Entry 13 by IcyPanther* -- because we're having fun and it involves fireworks! We started dating after a fireworks show.
3. Entry 2 by EvilYuki* -- It feels intimate and comforting.

4. Chibi Entry 14 by destinimiki*-- I love this entry. Mainly because Jacob is my world. One thing that was just overwhelmingly adorable would have to be the puppy. I love how he was done!!
5. Chibi Entry 16 by hinghing* -- Absolutely love this idea. Jacob is so jealous sometimes. I could definately see him get jealous of the snowman. I voted for this entry several times its too bad it didn't get a bigger award.
6. Entry 14 by Chikonet* -- this enty totally blew me away. I wanted it to at least win second place but it didn't sadly and disappointing to me. I love how much detail the artist put into it. The Ice cream, kitties, balloons and even down to my backpack and the bracelet... so detailed and cared for. I could tell this was a loved piece of art work.
